ELA 5: Points of View



Write the same sentence three different ways. Using first person, third person, or third person omniscient. Make your subject about an objective that you share with your family. Be sure to identify each sentence with the type of point of view that you are using.

    Third person omniscient: (Sally's point of view): She walked out of her house with her bike ready to go.

    (Jack's point of view): He saw her standing in her garage getting ready to ride out on her bike, and he thought about joining her.

    First Person: My family and I enjoy watching and participating in sports.

    Third Person: Eden and her family enjoy watching and participating in sports.

    Third Person Omniscient:She and her family like watching and participating in sports, in order to stay healthy.

    Lastly, for third person omniscient, it would be "Mike watched Isaac kick the soccer ball."
