In the video there was a picture of the Mona Lisa and it reminded me of Leonardo da Vinci. He was one of the most famous artists ever! He created some of the most famous artworkd other than the Mona Lisa, for example the Last Supper. This painting was one of the most religious paintings ever created. Also, he made a couple drawings, but the most famous one is the Vintrian Man. But before he ever became an artist, he was raised in many countries and he worked there too. But, he learned his artwork from a reowner of an art studio in Milan. The reowner is named by Verrocchio.

Even though this may not be an extremely famous painting like the Mona Lisa, The Scream is my favorite painting. It was painted by an artist by the name of Edvard Munch. Edvard was born in Norway on December 12, 1863. He both began and finished the painting in the year 1893. This painting has became very famous over all the time it has been published. It is now I'm multiple museums across the world. Even though I haven't seen it in person, I'm sure it would be even more beautiful than the pictures. In conclusion, I have never been to an Art Museum and would really like to sometime in the near future.

One of the paintings I tend to see a lot is called The Starry Night. It may not be a real popular one but I've seen it a couple of times. The artist who drew it was Vincent van Gogh. I personally have never been to a museum or art gallery so I don't know a lot of paintings. I think it would be cool to go to one and see all the different paintings and things though. Also to see all the different styles of paintings. So that is the artist and picture I decided to use.

I have never been to a gallery or a museum before. I would like to go to one though. A famous painter is Salvador Dalĺ. He was a prominent spanish surrealist painter born in Figueres, in the Catalonia region of Spain. One of his paintings was painted in 1940 and it was called "Face of War." Another one was created in 1949 and that one was called "Leda Atomica." Apart from painting, Dalí's output included, sculpting, jewellery design, book illustration, and work for the theatre. He is one of the most famous artist of the 20th century.

The Girl With A Pearl Earring is recognized as one of Johannes Vermeer's masterworks. The focal point of the painting is the reflection Pearl earring. The painting was first called "Girl With A Turban" but was renamed in the second part of the twentieth century. Some art critics have stated that the girl may have been one of Johannes daughter's named Maria. If this painting is Maria she would have been around the age of 12-13 years old at the time. Girl With A Pearl Earring is located in the Mauritshuis gallery in The Hague. Some people call this painting the Mona Lisa of the North or the Dutch Mona Lisa. Personally this has to be my number one painting.

A famous painter I read about was named Pablo Picasso. Pablo Picasso was a sculptor and a painter. He mainly spent his life in France. When he was twenty years old he played around with a few ideas, and with those ideas they brought him fame in his art. Pablo wasn’t just a sculptor and painter he was a stage designer and a printmaker. My favorite painting of his was Three Musicians. The reason I like this painting is, because it has a lot of shapes, colors, and ideas. This painting isn’t like most. Its different and thats what I like about it. This painting was painted in 1921. Also what I like about it is the colors in it are bright and they stand out.

The artist I chose was John Singer Sargent. He was one of the most successful painters of his era. One of his most successful projects is what I am about to tell you today. His most successful portrait was Madame X. He started painting it in Eighteen Eighty-Four. When started he wanted to make it like it represented the parisienne, a new type of Frenchwoman recognized for her sophistication. It is currently located in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York. His success still inspires many artists to this day and onward til the end of time or eteriny.

I chose to write about the Louvre. It is currently an art museum but in 1190 it was supposed to be a fortress. then it was expanded as a royal palace. It now covers 652,300 square feet and more then 35,000 works on display at any given time. The museums most popular exhibit is Leonardo da Vinci’s "Mona Lisa", which was stolen in 1911. It is now covered with bulletproof glass and flanked by guards 24/7. Juliana Miller 6/7 period.

My favorite painting is the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait of a woman by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci, which has been acclaimed as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world. The painting, thought to be a portrait of Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo, is in oil on a poplar panel, and is believed to have been painted between 1503 and 1506, although Leonardo may have continued working on it as late as 1517. It was acquired by King Francis I of France and is now the property of the French Republic, on permanent display at The Louvre Museum in Paris since 1797. The ambiguity of the subject's expression, which is frequently described as enigmatic. The monumentality of the composition, the subtle modeling of forms and the atmospheric illusionism were novel qualities that have contributed to the continuing fascination and study of the work. I really think this painting is a piece of art.. Its been around forever and yet is still very popular.

Grant woods was the one who created my favorite painting. American Gothic is just so interesting. It could mean so many different things. He was driven around the town by a other painter in Eldon, Iowa. His painting just really caught my eye the first time i saw it. i have no idea why but it did. I love the way it looks and how its mysterious. I've never been to a museum but i would love to go to one some day. Hopefully ill get the chance to his this painting in person.

My favorite painting is titled "The Son of Man". This painting was created in the year of 1964. The artist, Rene Magritte, was expressing that we see what we want to see and hide what we don't want to see. I think that I like this painting because I understand the emotion behind it. People hide behind the things that they don't want to face. Such as problems and frightening situations. In the painting stands a man in a black suit with a red tie. The colors in the suite and tie are very distinguished. In front of the man's face is a green apple. The man in the painting is the artist. I am not sure how he painted himself. He was trying to infer that we don't have to know the face of a man to be so quick to judge what we see.

The painting I really recognized the most was the famous “Mona Lisa” portrait. The Mona Lisa was painted by an Italian artist, Leonardo Da Vinci. He started painting her in 1503, but never finished until 1517. The only reason it took him so long was because his painting kept getting stolen. Francesco Del Giocondo who was a very wealthy silk merchant requested Leonardo to make this painting for his wife, Lisa Gheradini to celebrate their home completion. DA Vinci was more than a painter. He was also a scientist, inventor and a doctor. He was really good with his hands.

Museums are exciting places to visit and give us information about history. I have been to the museumes and smithsonians in Washington DC. I would love to go to an art museum to see the famous works of art like The Last Supper. The Last Supper is a late 15th Century mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci located in the rectory of the Convent of Santa Maria della Grazie in Milan. The painting represents the scene of The Last Supper of Jesus with his twelve disciples, when he announced that one of his disciples would betray him.

Yes I have been in a museum before. Well, a gallery in a museum. I went to the Smithsonian with my family for my sisters birthday and we went to an art gallery there. It was amazing. There was a lot of wierd things in there to but most of it was beautiful. A great artist that I found whos art I like is Sonja Svete. His art seems so simple but colorful and free. I only just saw these paintings but he seems very talented. I think there is expression in all the lines drawn even though it just looks like a bunch of color and wavy lines. But everyone has a reason for their type of art. His might be simplicity with complex emotions behind it. Every artist is different.

I have a lot of favorite famous paintings, but my favorite has to be "Misty Mood". It was painted by Leonid Afremod. It isn't as famous as "Mona Lisa" or "Starry Night", but I think it is truly a beautiful painting. I love how he used multiple different colors to bring of the colors of the leaves in the trees. Everything in the painting is formed by little strokes of colors. For example, the trunks of the trees in this painting have a million tiny strokes of different shades of brown to show the bark of the wood. All of the bright colors in this piece really bring the picture to life. In conclusion, this [painting is overall beautiful.

American Gothic is famous painting by Grand Wood. The painting was painted in the 1930's. It came out during The Great Depression, so many people saw it as a symbol of the steadfast American spirit. Others saw it as a struggling farmer and his wife who refuse to give up, but the women is woods sister. The man is his dentist. Grant wood entered the painting at the Art Institute of Chicago. He won the bronze metal. Lovre is the most famous museum. That is where Mona Lisa is. Thats most likely the reason why it's the most famous. There are pleanty famous museums in the world, but i would still say that's the most famous.

Mona Lisa....... who does not know about that old time famous painting
Leonardo Da Vinci painted it and everybody loves its quality. I never really saw it but i want to. The Mona Lisa sorta reminds me of a cat. I always wanted to see her in real life. I heard she sounded like a man in real life but whenever they would put her in a movie she would have a really high pitched voice. I hope that i can see the Mona Lisa in her painting sometime to picture her better in my mind
