Cell Phones

In the future, what do you think some uses of cell phones will be? How have cell phones changed your life? How do you use cell phones personally or in your family? What are some cell phone features that you would like to have integrated in your class room? If you could create a cell phone game to be used in one of your class rooms, what kinds of games could you think of?

I think that some of the future uses of cell phones will be being able to do pretty much everything that a computer can and maybe even more. I think that we will be able to do things that people probably can't even imagine woth cell phones.

Cell phones have changed my life a lot. I use my cell phone almost everyday. I use it to call and text my friends, to call and tell my parents when to pick me up after sports, and if I am bored I change my background and stuff. Mainly I text my friends and family because I am to lazy to pick up the phone and dial. But, I talk to my mom on the phone a lot because she calls me from work and when I am at football games and things.

Some cell phone features that I would like to integrate into class would be texting and picture messaging. I would do thod because teachers always yell at students for talking in class. But, if we were allowed to text there would be no talking problem. Although, some students would abuse this privelege but most likely they are the ones without a phone. Also, bluetoothing because they can send people who are sick or absent the lesson for the day. Instead of, the parent having to come in and collect the work.

If I were to create a game on my cell phone it would probably be a game kind of like Jeopardy. Like you could set the alarm on your phone to show you the answer to a question after a certain amount of time. I would do this because it would probably be the easiest kind to create.

In the future I think cell phones will be used for videoing and watching tv. You will probably be able to use the cell phone as a video camera. You will be able to video something and replay it back. I am sure in the future you will be able to watch a tv show on it.

Cell phones have changed my life by me being able to call my mom to come pick me up from a place like the movies. When the movie is over or almost over I call her to come get me. Also, whenever she wants to check on me, wherever I am she calls my phone. I text friends a lot on my phone. If I am doing something it is easier to text them then call them.

I use my cell phone to talk to and to text my friends. My mom knows where I am at all times because I have a cell phone, and If I am not home I must have it on at all times. If someone can not get a hold of my family on our house phone, they call my cell phone. They know it's always turned on.

Cell phone features I would like to have in the class room is to be able to call home if there was an emergency at our school. If someone came into the school and it was not possible to get to a main phone on the grounds, we could use our cell phones to get help.

A game on the cell phone for class might be a math class game. The kids would need to find answers fast and they could use their calculators on their cell phones. I first person who gets the answer correct would win the game. I really can't think of any other games on the cell phone that has anything to do with class.

I think that all future cell phones will be the same as the computers because there is a computer now the microsoft surface and whenever you out anything on it it reads and everything thats on the device.I use my cellphone everyday to call my parents and talk with friends.I dont think ceel phones should be in class at all because teachers are always complianing about kids grades but letting cellphones in would make it worse.I dont know what game i would create on a cell because i dont buy a cell phone to play the games on it

i tink that cellphones will be the number one thing that everyone will wnat to have. most people probably wont even have computers or just won't have a need for one because they6 could use their cellphones instead.

In the future the cell phones will be the most high-tech devices you can find. They will be like mini computers and you will be able to do everything from talking to shopping on them. My cell phone has changed my life because I have a phone, camera, video camera, and text messaging in my pocket at all times. If I see something interesting I can take a picture and send it, if I need help, I can call someone right away, or if I just want to talk to someone I can send them a text message. At first my parents didn't want me to have a cell phone, but then they got me one on case of an emergency. Now I can text or call whenever I want. A feature I would like integrated in the classroom would be if I was sick one day, there could be a camera in the classroom that would give me live feedback of what the teacher was teaching so that I could work with the class and not miss anything. Also, if you need help during a test, you could send your teacher a text message and they could answer you back without disturbing the rest of the class. A cell phone game that I would create to use in class would be for geography. You would play it like Family Feud. Someone would say a name of a continent and you would have to try to type as many countries on your phone that were on that continent that you knew of. After a certain time limit, the person who got the most names correct would win.

I thought that this blog was very interesting becuase we got to see what they range from and how they were in th past. My favorite part was seeing the future phones. I thought they were really cool. In the future I think that in the future phones will be able to show T.V. shows and movies. I also think that it will do everything that a computer does. I thin that it will also have GPS. I think that it can change your life in goodways and badways. Some examples of goodways are by meeting new people. It also helps you better to communicate with friends and family. Examples of bad ways could be that you could meet someone from calling them and it could get you into danger. Many things are possible bad and good with cell phones. Well I honestly can not answer that question because I do not have a cell phone because my mom doesn't think I am responsible lol. Some cell phone features that I would like to integrate into class would be texting. We could text each other anwers to tests, just kidding. I think that if we had the internet access on our phones we could do our blogs and things and we could also check our emails. If I were to make a game for a cell phone it would be probably Scrabble.

I think it word be cool to use a cell phone as more than tnan a cell phone in such ways as, using them an pass ports or paramedics to scan to see if the owner has any diseases or allargies to any medications. My dad uses cell phones and his favorite nokia slider with blue tooth. Class rooms could use them for things like texting answers to a problem to a centrl hub for quick responses. Iti would be cool to put a cell phone game I have talked to people about; INTERACT is a game where you text a person and they text back and join your team and then you go against another cell phone team and take turns and solve your teams puzzle before the other team solves theirs.

Sme uses would probally be getting on the internet instead of useing a computer. THe y have changed my life not that much all i do is text i don't call or e-mail anybody all i do is text all the time. We use them in case of an enmergency ,or4 we use them when we need somebody and the won't answer the house phone. Where the teachers can send us our work in a text message instead of giving it iut on paper. I would think of deal or no deal for math, and language i would use are you smater than a 5th grader.

in the future i think that cell phones will be used for probly to communicate still but no as much as we use them now.my cell phone has changed my life in many ways when i finally got one.i usse cell phones in my family to keep communication between me and my mom mostly.texting becasue if we can text with each other there would be less inturruption in the classrooms and for once in spanish we wont get yell at!if i could create a cell phone game to be used in one of my classes it would probly be for spanish because noone in our school besides mrs.summers speaks spanish so i thing that i would create a language translater to be built ion to all cell phones in the world becase so you were going to a restaurant in japan and you couldnt communicate with your waiter so you wouldnt get your food and you would starve to death just to be literal but in the states at west fairmont middle school(wfms)spanish class could be a hassel for some and i think being allowed to have cell phones is one thing but haveing a translater on it to help with your school work would be even more awsome and amazing.for us kids you know.

I think that in the future, cellphones could be like a robot, computer, or even a TV. Cellphones changed my life by letting me talk to my family and friends without being at home. Ummmmm, I Guess texting, because we can text to people we don't have in tha that class, and probably music videos, because I'm a multitasker, and I need music to think. Ummmmm, a shooting game that shoots words that you are not used in proper language, like for example, you would shoot "I is going to the mall".

In the future cell phones will be the next super-computer basically. Its going to blow your mind with the technology they'll put on the cell phone. Cell phones have changed my life pretty dramatically. Before I recieved my cell phone I couldn't really get a hold of my friends but now that I have a cell phone thats not a problem anymore. I use my cell phone just to text my friends and call some people. I would like to integrate texting and picture mail in classrooms. In english we have lit. vocab every Monday and Friday. So we could use a game to help us study for our tests.

In the future I think cell phones will be used for as the same things they are used as now, but thre migh not be any house phones we might all switch to cell phones. Cell phones has changed my life becasue I can communicate whenever i need to with my family and friends when someone else is on the house phone. My sister is on there for ever and I use to bug her so she would get off, but now I don't need to. I use phones personally by talking to my family. I think texting should be a feature used in class. If a teacher is busy and you can't get up and ask someone who know what to do or have someone explain the problem to you ,you can just text some one who knows,or if you need to talk to another teacher you can text them and tell them instead of missing class and going to their room. I don't know of a game I would create because all my ideas are taken.

In the future, I think we will be able to replace every piece of technology we have with a cell phone. We are almost there, so there's no telling what we'll be able to do with cell phones.

With a cell phone, I'm able to keep in touch with friends and family I dont get to see anymore since I've moved.

I mostly use my cell phone when I'm not home, so I can keep in touch with my parents, or for emergencies.

I don't really know what cell phone features I would want to use in the classroom. I might kinda sound boring and all, being 14, but I think technology complicates the classroom enough, so I don't realy think I would want to involve cell phones.

I'd really have to have some time to think about the game. That one's kinda hard.

Cell phones are an amazing piece of technology. They help us everyday in our lives. They help us communicate with other people, send emails if we want or need to, and they entertain us. Cell phones have grown dramatically in the last 10 years. They came from the size of a standard house phone to small little devices that you can barely fit on your ear. They have gone from having just two-way calling to text messaging, internet, and I pods built in. With all of that in just the past 10 years or less, just imagine what’s in store for us 5 more years from now. In the future, we could have voice activated cell phones. Cell phones that do whatever you tell them to. Just imagine cell phones calling whoever you tell them to, or texting the words you say. Cell phones could make life even simpler. It would be really cool if we could use cell phones in class. I’m not talking about using cell phones as in calling people in class. No, I’m talking about future cell phones that have built in graphing calculators. Now that would be awesome!!! Or with the cell phones that are invented today, we could text the teacher when we needed to ask a question during a test. That way we wouldn’t disturb anyone else taking a test. That could help us in class. We could even make up educational games with our cell phones to help study! If we needed to silently study for a vocabulary test, we could text clues for a word to another person, then they could guess what the word is. It’s educational, silent, and a good studying technique. Plus, students would be having fun!!! Cell phones could help us in the classroom, just like they help us everywhere else. I predict in the next 10 years or less, cell phones will have even more abilities than they do now. I predict they will be in the classrooms of every American student.

The class would be split into two teams. One member of each team would be in the front of the class. Each team would have a cell phone that is Bluetooth enabled. Along with the teacher. The teacher would send the password to each team and the team would follow the game show's rules to finish the game

In the future, I think that cell phones will be able to let people watch television, movies, and videotape. Cell phones have changed my life by keeping me in constant contact with my sister when I’m not home. She calls and texts me at least once an hour to make sure I’m where I am supposed to be. I use my cell phone to text, call my friends and family, and most importantly for emergencies. I wish that we could text in class anytime that we wanted to. A game that I could think of would be a quiz game or trivia game to help me study spelling words and science vocabulary. I also think that some sort of math game would be fun to use.

In the future, I think cell phones will become more than just a way to communicate. I think we will be using them as amazingly small computers. I think having blue tooth and wi-fi will become a standard thing on all phones. I think cells phones are the one thing on my life that I can count on changing year to year. They are constantly changing in size and shape. My family doesn’t use a landline and only use our cell phones. For us, it is cheaper and a lot more practical for us since my dad needs to have an open line in case he needs to go to a scene. I like having a cell phone so I can be anywhere and no I am just a dial away from my family and friends. I think our class rooms need to allow us to use are phones in class. If a teacher would send the notes to one students phone, it would take up a lot less class to just have everyone forward it, and since everyone has their phones with them instead of notebooks, they would be able to study more than otherwise. If I could come up with a cell game for class, mine you be the following: It would be kinda of like sparkle; you would have to keep naming characters until you cant get anymore then you say sparkle and and the next person would be out. You could use any category you wish.

I think in the future we are going to be able to play online against eachother on video games like the xbox 360. We can get on the internet now days but the cell phone is going to become like a computer in the future. Cell phones have changed my life because I can call my parents and my sister to come pick me up from places. My whole family ha cell phones so if we need to get a hold of that particular person we can just call their cell phone. I think we should be able to text in class because if we can't that isn't going to stop people from listening. If I had to create a game i would create a spelling or math game. If I wanted to play a spelling game the teacher would say the word and yo have to spell it right on your cell phone. If I wanted a math game the teacher would write the problem on the board and you do it on the calculator on your cell phone.

In the future cell phones will probably be used for school,(but with close monituring on a network linked to the xchool some how.) Cell phones have changed my life by making it easier to wait on a call instead of havting to wait somewhere for a phone call. I use cell phones everday to communicate between my family to see what everybody is doing that day. Some cell phone features that I would personally like to have intergrated into my classes are, for cell phones is that we are allowed to use them in class to send our teachers our work but only by a monitored by the school on a special program. I would probably come up with a game called "Babler" where you come up with a word and it comes up with a word that is spelled with the same first letter but is more saphisticated than your word and the only way to beat the game is by using more sophisticated words. I would also come up with a game called candy where you have to collect all of the pieces of candy (it's kinda of like snake) the more candy you get the more time you get to finish the ten very difficult levels.

In the future, I think that cell phones will be used to view the person or even create holograms of the person you are talking to. Cell phones have changed my lie in many ways. I just got my phone bill and I spent 3,000 minutes on the phone in the last month! I sent and received over 10,000 text messages. So, as you can see having a cell phone takes up a lot of my time. I use cell phones personally and in my family. I love being able to text my family. It's short, sweet, and to the point. Even my grandma texts me! I would like our teachers to be able to text us all of our homework assignments, so we don't have to write them or take the chance of forgetting the assignment. If I could create a cell phone game using the vocabulary words given, I would do a game where the teacher gives you a word and the whole class thinks of a word that rhymes with it and sends it to the teacher. The first correct text sent to the teacher wins and gets to come to the front of the room and think of a word. Then the process repeats.

Uses for cell phones could be for enternet maybe even medical help. Cell phones have not changed my life. I do text a lot. I would like to have picture taking in school. I would I would like to have snake in my class room.

In the future I think that a cell phone will be almost exactly like a computer. Actually I don't have a cell phone I only use my parents spare sell phone on certain occasions. I don't honestly know all the features cell phones have except for the phone, camera, and the games and none of those seem to be useful in class. I have no clue what type of game I would make because the little buttons are not as efficiant as a computer keyboard.

I think that in the future cell phones will be able to think for them selves. For example, you could plug the phone into the dash-board of your car and if you were in an accident it could call 911 or you could program it to call other people. It would be simalar to On-Star but much cheaper. I don't have a cell phone so it couldn't benifite me as much as it could other people. One feature many people wish they had that I have heard of was better service in the school.that way they aren't charged for roaming.

One game that I could think of is if you could have teacher project a SAT definition on the srean and who ever text the word first wins.

I think that cell phones will be able to do just about anything in ten years. There is already internet and numerous things on cell phones that were not acquirable three years ago. If we keep moving at this pace, cell phones will be very technological. Ce ll phones have affected my life in many ways. Cell phones make my parents feel more secure and comfortable about me going places. Without a cell phone, I wouldn't be able to go to many places that I go daily. It is also much more convenient to talk to people on the go rather than stopping at a pay phone or waiting until you get home. I use my cell phone to keep in touch with my friends and to tell my parents when I need a ride. My personal preference is texting. I think we should be allowed to use our phones during any free time such as lunch and inbetween classes. I think it would be fun to play an educational game on my cell phone. It would be a good change. Even if we just ask each other questions and whoever got the most right wins.

In the future, I think that cell phones will be able to let people do what ever they want to do just by the sound of your voice. Cell phones have changed my life by keeping me contact with my cousin that lives in North Carolina. She calls and texts me every second of the day to check up on me. I use my cell phone to text, call my friends and family. I wish that we could use our phones because sometimes we need them. A game that I could think of would be a monoploy game to help me study for anything. You could set the subject you need help in and you could play it.

I think some uses of the cell phone in the future will be like the uses of the computer, video/digital camera, communicators, television and alot more. Cell phones have changed my life by the way I communicate, for example, instead of calling some one i text them instead. In my family we use cell phones to communicated with others through text messaging and calling. I'd like to intergrade textmessaging and calling people in our classrooms today. A game that would be helpful and educating that we could use using cell phones would be a game such as: You get a partner. Then your partner will text you a deffinition from one of our ten SAT vocab words, then once you recieve the text message you text back the word that matches with the deffinition.

Cell Phones have changed in my life from the littelest phone to the coolest and biggest phone like the razor 2 r the iphone.

My family uses cell phone personally we all have are own phone but we all have the same plan.We all have unlimited text messaging.

Some of the features with a cell phone in class are text you homework hen send it to your teacher.

If I could create a cell phone game it would have to be myspace im so you could be on myspace in the school and the teachers would not know it. I would also create a game for solitare to play if you got board, or chess.

in the future i think they will be used for video taping. I'm positive that you will be able to video tape on your phone because in the future we will have alot more technology then we do now. i think we will be able to video tape because you can video tape now on our phones but it will be so much better. When you watched the movie you saw that they had a video camera on the end of the phone.

How did cell phones change my life? Well lets think back when they didn't have cell phones! What did they do for help when they need it? of course they had house phones. So how did cell phones change my life they changed my life alot because if we didn't have cell phones then we couldn't call for help when we need too or when we need are parents to get us something or bring us something. Also i use my phone to get call my mom if i need to go somewhere or pick me up. I i think it is so much easier to text then talk on the phone, but yeah I don't know what i would do if we didn't have cell phones!!

I use my cell phone to talk on the phone or to text, i mean who doesn't? i use my cell phone to stay in touch with my family. Also my parents i always call my mom if i need something or just need to talk. My mom always knows where i am because we keep in touch by our phones. If someone needs me for something and I'm not home they know they can call me on my phone.

What are some cell phone features i would like to have the class room would be that we could call our parents if there was a emergency at our school. Like if there was someone in their that not supposed to be then we could call our parents or the police.

I don't know what kind of phone games i would use, but maybe i would create the game phone tag its where you all have your phones and every gets texted the same question and who ever sends the answer back the fast then they get a point and they cant forward it! i think this would be a good game to play with your phones because its a easy way to learn and you get to do what you love TEXT!!!

I would like to use the computer on the phone to use during class. If I could use a game it would be like sparkle like you use in spelling. In the future I think some uses for cell phones might be to auto start your car or unlock it, maybe turn on your oven, but there are so many unthinkable things. Cell phones have changed my life in so many ways. I can keep in touch with people I never get to see, I can have all those numbers at the palm of my hand, and take pictures/ videos when ever and of whatever I want. We just keep in touch and that’s about it. I want a phone at the end of my pencil or a touch screen on my desk. I would have an educated version of the game Brick. When ever it would ricochet off the paddle and hit a little cube you would have to answer a question to get the points and if you don’t get it right you loose however many points it was worth.

Cell phones have changed my life by me being able to talk to my friends wherever I am. Also I can text message my friends to. When I want my mom to come pick me up I can call her from my cell phone. If I am doing homework I can text message them so it is easy than calling them.
It would be nice to be able to videotape or record some of the things that we go over in class. Also if there was an emergency and all the phones in the office were being used you could use your cell phone to call a parent. If I could create a cell phone game that could be used in one of my classes it would be a game for Language. It would be a game for Language because that is my weakest subject and that game could help me study. The game would consist of flash cards and remembering things.

Cell phones have changed my life because I can talk to my friends and play games and stuff. In my family me, my mom, my dad, and everyone has a cel phone. We could have educational games on them or even do share information on them. I would have a game that goes with vocabulary words and for every word you have to name a synonym for each word.

In the future I believe cell phones will be amazing. Everyday people are coming out with new, better ways to improve cell phones. When I was little I had never even heard of a cell phone (probably because I never really cared or paid attention) I have seen pictures of huge cell phones that that we used to have in the past. Today, cell phones are so much different. They can store music, games, and all that other great stuff. Cell phones are also made smaller so they can actually fit where you want them to go.
When I was in 5th grade my dad got me a cell phone for emergencies and i fell in love with it. I love to text, so for my birthday my dad got me an LG Rumor and I always text on it all the time.
I think if we were allowed to text in the classroom, it would solve the whole talking problem during class. Although, kids probably wouldn't pay very much attention to the teacher. They would probably be too entertained by the texting.
I think it would be cool to have a game where the teacher asks a question and everyone has to text the teacher the answer. Whoever sends it the fastest WINS!!!

I belive that in the future will be unimaginable. I believe cell phones will be able to take pictures, videos, and voice recordings. I believe that cell phones will have all internet access, also.
Cell phones have changed my life by being able to text people, call people when I'm not home, and always giving me a way to contact someone in an emergency.
I normally just text and call people with my cell phone. I keep in touch with all my friends that way.
I would love for us to be able to have full-length internet access from our desks, and it would be cool to be able to play our music on our phones.
Snake is one of the funnest cell phone games there are. It's a classic, but it's a strategic game and it's useful in building our mind.

If cell phones today are equipt with GiG's of memory in your average smart phone, the future is unpredictable. Smart phones are fairly large in most cases, so i belive in the future that there will be a smart phone about the size of a Krazr. I even belive that a future cell Phone will be nothing but a micro chip. The size of it about an inch cubed, and will be able 2 project live video confrences, with the person you are talking to.

I use my cell phone every day of my life, and for various reasons. Icommonly talk, text my friends a lot. I also use it for family matters, and events. I carry my cell phone with me every where I use it at home a lot. I also have it a school, but when it is at school, it is turned off and put in my book bag ,or binder. The only reason it is at school in the first place is for unplanned events. For example if there is a change in plans, and i need to ride home instead of the bus. If there is a weather cancelation we are aloud to use our cell phones to call home, In which this case I do.
If i could come up with a game in class that we could use our cell phones in I would have to say that we use them for cross room conversation, of the clue or hint. Ms. Constable I think that we should be on teams of four, or five people. You spread us out across the room. When you ask one teamate what the vocabulary word is. he, or she is aloud to answer one call, or text from each teamate. This information can be a hint, or one syllabol of the word. With the acumulated information from the teamates the person may be able to answer the question more easily.

I don't really thin there is a future for cell phones because they can pretty much do anything. You can watch TV, get on the internet, bluetooth, text, and a lot more. There might be more cool things you can do in the future but i can't even imagine what. Cell phones have changed my life in a lot of ways. If my mom is on the house phone(which she is a lot) then I can still call my friends on my cell phone. I use my cell phone to call my family too. I think the thing most people like to do in class is text so that would probably be an all time favorite in any game with cell phones. I can't really think of a game though because every idea i had was already taken

In the future i think cell phones will be used much the same, but they will eventually be so small that they will fit in your ear and you will never have to take it out. A cell phone has changed my life because my parents and I can communicate much more easily. I use cell phones to see how to get home and when im out with my friends I use it to call my parents. Some cell phone uses i wish we could use in class is texting. i think it's fun. I would make a game where everyone is texted a question, and the first person to text back the correct answer wins.

There are all kinds of ways to use cell phones today. Text messaging is one of the major uses of cell phones now. In the future i think cell phones will let you see the person as you are talking to them like web cams. Wouldnt that be cool? Cell phones have progressed alot since 50 years ago and will continue to get more complex and high-tech than they are now. Cell phones have changed my life in many different ways. They let have more freedom away from my parents because now they can reach me anytime they want. I go to track meets and soccer games and just text or call them to tell them when to pick me up or drop me off. It is that simple. Cell phones have made me become closer with my friends than i used to be because whenever they need to talk to me they usually will just text me if they need my help or something. I also have been talking more with my relatives that live out of state because they can get a hold of me easier. Cell phones would be great and bad in the classroom. The kids could text the teachers for help instead of interupting the whole class because kids dont want to hear about what the other kids need help with. They would rather just do it on their own. Kids could help each other out on their cell phones by texting each other hints for the definition they are on or something. My game is called first example. Here is how to play. The teacher will give the class a form of figurative language. Each person in the class will text the teacher an example and the first five to text the teacher with the right examples gets a piece of candy or bonus points. Sounds like fun huh?

I think that computers in the future will be able to do most of the stuff a cell phone today would be able to do like call text people, take pictures. Most phones in the future will probably have internet and let you listen to and buy music. I think that it will also let you see the person you are talking to. It will probably do things like let you type an essay or something like that and plug it into something to let you print it out. I think that they probably let you watch T.V. like you watch it at home.
Cell phones changed my life by letting me talk to people almost anytime I want or need to. Cell phones let me call my mommy or daddy to come pick me up from places like practice or the movies or a friend’s house and let them call me to make sure I’m okay or for some other reason. It lets me talk to people if I can’t use the house phone or not at home.
I use my cell phone to call my parents to come pick me up from somewhere or if they are late for picking me up. My parents call me to know when to pick me up from like a friend’s house or to make sure I’m okay. I use cell phones to call people or text them. I really like to call my sister when she doesn’t want me to to make her mad because it’s funny when she’s made.
Some cell phone features I would like to have in class are calling and texting people and taking pictures because you would be able to call someone just in case of an emergency or for any other reason and I think taking pictures are fun. Another feature would be recording stuff because you could voice record or just record the class so you wouldn’t have to take notes and you could show them to people who were absent and get them caught up with what the missed.
If I could create a cell phone game I would create it for Language class. It would be about a penguin trying to cross the water before the ice melts and you would have to give answers for a definition in order for the penguin to get across. Another game would be for Math. It would be about Jeffery the Giraffe trying to run away from a lion and make it to his home safely. You would have to answer math questions every time you came to a tree because Jeffery would forget about the lion and start eating and the only way to get him running again would to answer the math problem correctly.

I think a lot of the uses of cell phones will be mainly for internet matters and music. Talking will probally not be used as much as it is except for a few people. The cell phones might even be used in military matters and purpases such as that. They have help me talk with my friends more and when I have my cell with me I can call someone if I get into any trouble. My family just uses them for communication and the games that are on the cell phones. I would like to have things in the class that allow you to control things with your cell phone. The game I would create would be some kind of game where you text the answer of a question to your teacher and the one who is right and the one that got it there first would win.

In the future, I think some uses of the cell phone will be able to watch TV. In my lifetime cell phones have changed dramatically! For example they went from just calling your friends to texting {which I love to do}. Also Instead of only just being able to get on the internet on your computer, you can use your phone for the internet. Another change would be you can not only use your iPod to listen to music, you can put the music on your phone. Finally they have cell phones in all different colors, shapes, sizes, and brands. In the Gower family we communicate with our cell phones to talk about what we are doing, or planning to do the next day [activity wise], or just my dad being protective LOL. The classroom would be even cooler if we would be able to use or cell phones to learn. We would actually being using something we like to help us learn! For an example there could be texting games, or calling to teacher to fastest to give her the answer. If I were to invent a game it would be where each team of students would get a sheet of paper with the same question on it and when the teacher said go they would turn over the paper and read there question. Once they had read over the question they would call the teacher with the answer, and the first one to call her with the right answer would win.

Cell phones have revolutionized the world’s main method of communication, speaking. No matter where you are in the world, (as long as you have service), you can talk to anyone wherever they are. In the future, cell phones could possibly be reduced to the size of a bite-sized candy bar for all that we know. However, based on the new technologies being integrated into the phones of today, I have a feeling that the phones of the future will be more like computers. New phones have are being given the capabilities to access the internet, have live video chats, voice command, and much more. A game that could be created using text messaging is something that I would like to call add-on messaging. Here’s what you do, the teacher texts a thesis sentence of a story and texts it to one student in the class, that student adds a sentence onto the story, and then texts that to a different student. After every student in the class has received the text at least once, a student texts their completed story back to the teacher for grading.

In the future cell phones will probably have everything you need to carry in it. Already, cell phones have music, internet/email access, cameras, and more. In the future they might also have obtained things such as GPS, flash drive attachments, television accessibility, and more. New cell phones will be extremely advanced. Whenever I need to contact someone immediately, away from home, I can just pull out a cell phone and talk to them instantly. Also, I can play games or look at tools/settings on a cell phone when I get bored. Those are a few ways cell phones changed my life. Basically, in my family, we use cell phones if we need a ride, want to tell someone where we are, need to find out something, or just want to talk. In our classrooms, some cell phone features I would like to have integrated in our class are that if you are absent have a teacher call you and tell you what is going on, you could ask teachers questions by texting them, and you could call home in case of an emergency. If I was to make a cell phone game, a simple one would be simply to quiz each other on text to study for tests. You could send a smiley face picture message for correct answers and frowny faces for incorrect answers.

In the future, I think that some uses of cell phones could be having a little computer in your hand. You could do anything on a cell phone that you could on a computer. Maybe, we will be able to watch television on them or movies.

Cell phones haven't really "changed my life", but they've made it easier to get a hold of people when I need to talk to them. I have unlimited texting, so I text ALOT. I'll text my mom to pick me up from somewhere or to tell her to hurry up, when she is in a store! But, I guess in a way it has changed my life.

Some features i'd like to see integrated in my classroom would be to be able to dial into a virtual class. Be able to do our homework on our phones instead of using a computer.

My game would divide the class by into groups. Each group is given a paragraph to text. When the first person finishes the text, he/she will send it to the next person to text the same paragraph and so forth, until the entire group has completed the relay. The first group to complete the entire relay wins.

In the future, cell phones will probably be able to do anything a video camera, microphone, computer, and MP3 player put together could do. Which would make it pretty inconvenient to lose, considering it is all the gadgets in one and probably very expensive. I've always thought it was better to have an MP3 player, video camera, and cell phone separate so if you lose one you don't lose it all. Sorry, I've just been thinking that for a while now. In my life, cell phones have become smaller, but that's about the only major change. Also, the release of the iPhone was a technological revolution. My whole family uses cell phones regularly to give and get information from family members, but I usually only use mine when it is cross-country or track season so my mom knows when to pick me up. I think some sort of math game that involves texting each other to find an answer would be fun.

Almost everyone has a cell phone these days, even my grandparents. They don’t like using them, but they have them in case of an emergency.

It is amazing how much more advanced cell phones have come from when people first began to use them. In the future some uses of cell phones could be fully operational computers, better video cameras, cameras, and tracking devices. I saw a cell phone in the paper the other day that was a GPS system. You might even be able to watch television on a telephone in the future.

Cell phones have changed my life in many ways. Of course, I use it for calling people, texting and just showing off. But some other things I use mine for is as an MP3 player, a video camera, a normal camera, and calculator. I don’t know what I would do without my cell phone.

My cell phone can show what I’m interested in or what I like or what I’m doing. My home page displays a Kentucky Wildcat almost all of the time, because that’s where I’m from and that’s the college team I like. My calendar on my phone organizes my week and plans my special events.

Everyone in my family has cell phones and I really enjoy it because I can usually get a hold of them whenever I need to. Even my little sister has a phone; she got my old one that I didn’t need when I got a new phone.

I think instead of having a whole intercom system in school we could just have the office page our cell phones. Or if there is a family emergency, they could call your cell. Maybe in class someday we could do our assignments on our cell phone and turn it in to our teachers and they wouldn’t have to waste paper. “Save a tree!” Plus, teachers could put our grades right on our cell.

Some games that could be used on the cell phone would be spelling games like hangman or wheel of fortune. It would also be interesting to do a science experiment on the cell phone. We might even do some mapping puzzles for Social Studies. There could be little disks, or phone numbers that we dial to get various educational games to play. That sounds pretty nice. It is heard to tell what scientists will come up with in the future. Who knows, I might invent something that everyone will buy!

It would be nice to have cell phones in the classroom, to play games; we could do our work on our phone and e-mail it to the teacher immediately. A fun game to play with phones would be to ask a question, have one person figure out the answer, then cal the person beside them, and continue the process. When the answer got to the second to last person they have to text it to the last person, whom then has to say it aloud

In the future, I think the use of cellphones will increase. Today, almost every person I know has a cell phone, let alone all the people that I don't know. Probably cellphones in the future will have alot more things dealing with technology programed in them, which will most likely increase the number of buyers.

Cell phones have changed my life in so many ways. I always have my cell phone with me. I'm always texing someone, and when I'm not texting, I'm on the phone. Having a cell phone has literally had a drastic impact on my life. Ask anyone who knows me, I always have it with me. The only bad thing about having a cell phone, is when I get punished, it's the first thing that my mom can take away from me.

I use my cell phone both personally and for my family. Mostly I'm texting or talking to my friends on my cell phone. Very rarely do I use my cell phone to talk to my family. Usually when I talk to my family, they call the house phone.

I think using cell phones in class would be something interesting and very very different. Using cells in class could be used for many different things, such as vocabulary games.

If I could create a cell phone game that could and would be allowed to used in the classroom, it would probably be something to do with vocab. Such as someone texing someone a word, and that person texting that person back with the definition on that vocab word.

I think that in the future, cell phones will be used for everything. Computers will be outdated because all cell phones will be updated with internet access. House phones will be there, but cell phones will be the main thing used. Different businesses will probably use cell phones to give information to the traveling workers. In the future, cell phones will be more developed. We will never know exactly how developed until they actually arrive, so it's hard to predict what we will use them for.

My cell phone has changed my life. Instead of people always calling me on my house phone, they can text or call me on my cell phone. If I'm at a really boring dinner with my parents, I can pass the time by texting my friends. I never have to worry about someone not being able to reach me because they can call me on my cell.

My mom is a little weird, she calls me everyday just to ask what I'm doing and where I'm at. My friends text me when they're bored, and if I miss a day, they always text me the latest gossip updates.

I have always thought about this question. I would like to be able to put my homework assignments into my alarm so when I get home, I know exactly what I need to do. We could take pictures of things to remember what they are for a test. Cell phones could be used in many ways at school.

If I could create a cell phone game, I would create a game for math. At Math Field Day, we always play TNYWR (the number you will receive). The whole row would get a message from the teacher telling them a math problem. All of the students except for the one's in the first row would get TNYWR and then something like "+ 7". They will solve the problem and message it to the person behind them. It would keep going until a row thinks they have the right answer and then they will text it to the teacher. If it is right, they will win a prize (we did candy bars). It would be an educational game and the students would have fun because they would get to use their cell phones in class!

One cell phone feature I’d like to see in the classroom is Bluetooth so kids can listen to music while they work. A cell phone game I think would be fun to play is when you break up into two teams and one team puts the name of a book in a text message and the other team either guesses the Author or the genre, and if they get it right they get a point and after a certain amount of time the team with the most points wins.

I think in the future cell phones will be a major part of our school curriculum. Our schools are becoming so high tech and will so much better and impoved in the future.
My cell phone is a HUGE part of my life!!! :) I use it ALL of the time!! It has changed my life because it's just a life saver. When there are emergencies and I need to reach my parents I can instantly pull it out and use. Same thing goes for me, if someone needs to reach my I have it. Cell phones are so common now and almst everyone has one. I have a huge love for txting. I absolutly love to text!! I txt everyone including my parents. Texting is a very good source of contact too. I once read about htis girl who was kidnapped and she had her cell phone and was able to txt her family and they later was able to locate her. It feels sooooo akward not haveing it sometimes. Like if I'm grounded, oooo I hate that. It feels like I'm missing a huge part of my life without it.
I would like to have txting integrated into our classrooms. I don't understand why students cannot have their cell phones out in class if he/she has free time. I don't know. I mean I think teachers should incorporate cellular devices into learning systems. This would be really cool if every students had a cell phone for school uses only. If we had schools and classes that did things like that, students would accually enjoy school.
If I could create learning game for my cell phone I would maybe do a game for reading and spelling. My game would be very similar to Wheel Of Fortune. In this game students would try to guess the letters and words on the board.

In the future some uses of cell phones will be for scanning land, people, and other cell phones in an area for emergency and health/personal/beneficial use. Cell phones, while sometimes a pain in your ***, can be a great help for calling police, ambulance, firetruck in an awful emergency. Cell phones can be redesigned to accept Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. This would probably make them a requirement in schools. My cell phone game will be based on Hollywood Squares.

Wow! I totally want a phone from the future!

In the future, phones will be able to operate like a computer. Instead of getting on the computer to go onto the Internet, you'll be able to just get on your phone. It will probably have television channels, GPS, and so much more! I’m anxious to see what it will offer.

My cell phone has changed my life dramatically! I seriously don't think I could live without it now. I even though I love, I think it has become a huge problem in my life. I relay on it way more than I should.

It has changed my life because now if I ever need anything I can just call someone for help. For example, If I'm ever in danger I can call the police, I call my friends for homework help, and when I need my mom to come pick me up, for instants, I can just call her. I only call people when I seriously need something. Other than that, I text non-stop.

Some cell phone features I would like to integrate into class would be letting use our phones to call home whenever needed. Instead of having to go to the office every time you need to call home for something. Also, I wish we were aloud to text when the teacher wasn't teaching. This would help because we could text each other rather than talk.

If I could create a game for cell phones to use during class it would probably have to be some kind of spelling game. This could increase our grammar and spelling. ( I really have no idea though! lol)

In the future i think that you will be able to do anything that you can ever want. You will be able to get a thing put into your phonne and it can shoot a message to someone at home and print it out. I believe you will be able to do many many different things with a cell phone.♥

Cell phones have changed my life by gettibg ahold of someone in emergcey, getting to text people has also mde me very happy.♥

You could text someone a lesson that you missed in school so they will not have that much homework for the next day. You could use the internet to look up things so you wouldnt have to go to the computer lab to be on comuters.♥

If i could choose a cell phone gam it would be..., you would sent a diffention to someone by texting and then they would send you the word. That could be a review game for that qiuzes for test that you have in that class

In the future, I believe that a cell phone will be like a portable computer. Cell phones make it easier to communicate with each other, and for lazy people, texting is very useful. I use my cell phone when I need my parents to pick me up after a practice or when I go to a friends house and I need to tell them where I am. I think that we should be able to text answers to the teachers phone during class. I don't really know what kind of game I'd make up using a cell phone.

It is nearly impossible to think what the capabilities of cellular phones will be in 5, 10, or even 20 years. It seems as if cell phones are already pushing the possible limit, but with technology advances, possibilities are endless. I can see that cell phones in a few years will surpass the capability of many computers. Cell phones already offer access to the Internet, instant messaging, email, games, pictures, and music.
Cell phones have changed my life drastically. It is difficult to think of life without the conveniences of my cell phone. The biggest change for me is to be in constant contact with my family and friends. For example, if I am in the movies, at the end I can text message my parents and they will be there to pick me up. It also helps my family out a lot with us all leading hectic lives. Between soccer, baseball, voice lessons, private sports lessons, and extra curricular activities, my family is always running different ways. It gives my parents a peace of mind knowing that I am only a push of a button away.
A class room could incorporate cell phone games such as “chain” text messaging to help the class study for vocabulary and spelling tests.

Some of the future things that cell phones will do is probably everything!! (:

Cell phones have done lots of things for many people, including myself.

They are VERY useful, and i think that everyone should have one; even if its just for emergencies. Now me, and most of my peers have cell phones, for entertainment.. like cameras, texting, internet, and lots of other purposes.

In the future, you can probably use cell phones to watch regular TV. That would be cool! (:

Cell phones are very handy and will continue to advance evry day.

In the future I think cell phones will be used for watching T.V shows, talking to people face to face like a webcam, or even just saying the name of the person in your contacts list and they will call them. There are many different thinngs that cell phones can be used for. They have changed my life in emergencies, telling someone something urgent, or texting somebody something in the middle of class!! :) If my parents forget to pick me up some days for after school activities, or if I'm with someone and need to know something from my parents, thats when I really love my cell phone! If I could create a cell phone game that could be used in the classroom then I would make an S.A.T vocabulary quiz. If I ever forgot to take my S.A.T words with me or if I just want to see if I could pass the test then I could use my cell phone.

In the future, i think cell phones will be used to do work, or to take classes on. They could also possibly be used to take control of objects, but i think that will be many years in the future.

My old cell phone changed my life because all i did was text, i also have cheated on a few tests with someone by them sending me the answers. It also changed my life for the worst, once i got it taken away from me for texting, i got a 10-point violation and then later on i lost it and someone broke it. Cell phones are amazing ways of cumunicating so much easier, but they are also ways of getting into trouble.

I use cell phones personally because if i had a family emergancy than i would know who to call, and how to keep safe.

I wish that on the wall, there would be a cellphone inplanted into the bricks for everyone to use to text people with. I think it would be very cool.

If i were to make up a game to play it would be a game to see who could text people answers to our sat tests without being caught.
hah. seriously. :]

I don't think the cell phone use will change much because right now it can do about anything. If it changes then it will probably be with video or hologram capability. Cell phones have let me keep ion touch with people anywear. I think that in a class room we could use cell phones for maybetexting when people are done with a test so they don't disturb others, but they would have to put limits on this. I think that you could have some kind of hangman texting game in class.

In the future I think we will use cellphones for more than communication. I think we'll be able to do pretty much anything that involves the internet, or televison. I don't and never have had a cell phone, because my parents don't think I need one until I can drive. I don't understand though because anything could happen, and I definetly think I do need one. In my family, my parents have cellphones, and it makes it easier for me to get a hold of them anytime that I need to. I don't know of any cell phone features I would like in the class room. I guess you could play games through text messaging.

I think that cell phones are awesome! They will be much better in the future though. I think cell phones are much more than annoying I think that they can save someone’s live. Y because if you would get into an accident and you are hurt you can pull out your cell phone and call 911.
Yeah kids these days are on the phone a lot but for good reasons like calling your mom and dad and instead of them wasting all the time on the house phone you can get them a cell phone.
I think that kids are on the phone a lot, so am I we get bored with our lives that we go into other peoples live.
One good feature about cell phones is unlimited texting and also Bluetooth.

Cell phones haven’t changed my life much since I don’t have one, but what I have used for them has let me call my friends whenever I’ve needed to. Some cell phone features that I would like to have integrated in my class room to be taught would e the texting; I’ve seen some people text at lighting speed, while I seem to take five minutes just to text three words.

In the future I think the use of cell phones will be beyond my explanation. Cell phones have changed my life in many ways. They have made communication so much easier. Having a cell phone I fell secure. I think we should be able to text in class. They take things to, too much of and extent, although some students may use it for non-beneficial things, the ones who have some commonsense will realize that they is not acceptable. Some uses of cell phones would be looking up things on the internet, downloading info, PowerPoint, interviews, and many other things you have to do on the computer, because all technology in the computer is becoming into the cell phones now. I use my cell phone in my family I DON’T have texting or anything fancy. My parents don’t see any use in that. So I use my phone to stay close to my family. Talking because we can’t talk in class. If I could put a game on my phone it would be DEAL or NO DEAL.

Then after you pass the cell phone around a few times everyone stops and you read what it says.

In the future, cell phones are going to be more advanced. But the basic use of cell phones is to communicate. They let you talk to people over long distance. They also let you text and surf the web (on certain phones). A cell phone let me communicate with my parents much easier when I got one. I use them just like I said above. I think that texting should be integrated into the classroom. I would also like bluetoothing. Then kids could send pictures and messages to other kids without the noise of talking. A cell phone game I would create would probably be something like "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" or something like "Wheel of Fortune". Because they are fun and easy to make.

OMGOSH!!!! Cell phones are used for so many reasons. But in the future the uses could be more reasonable. Some new reason's that they maybe used for could be to lock and unlock things and control things at your home without anyone there.

Everyone in my family has many different ways to us there ceel phones but my reason for having a cell phone is so i can text and talk to people 24/7. If I were to create a game for a cell phone i would make a learning game but you couldn't even tell it was teaching you anything. Another type of game would be a music game were the phone plays a song and you have to guess what it is in a small amount of time.

I use my cell phone to call everyone in my family, whether it is to get a ride or ask them to do something like go to a friend’s house.

In the future I think cell phones will be used for videoing and watching TV. You will probably be able to use the cell phone as a video camera. Cell phones have changed my life by me being able to call my mom to come pick me up from a place like the movies. When the movie is over or almost over I call her to come get me. Also, whenever she wants to check on me, wherever I am she calls my phone. Also if I am doing something it is easier to text them then call them. I think it would be fun to play an educational game on my cell phone. It would be a good change. Even if we just ask each other questions and whoever got the most right wins.

We use our cell phones to find each other in crowded places, to call for transportation, or for my parents to simply check in. most cell phones have voice recorders built in, and they could be used to record a lecture for later review.
