I loved that video but I had to keep pausing it because the screen was blurry and I couldn't read fast enough. I selected "Those on the mountain didn't fall there". I think that it means if you want to do some thing and you work hard for it you will succeed no matter what it is unless its impossible . But I guess anything is possible. This quote is known as the "golden rule" I think that this quote means don't do something to another person if you wouldn't like it done to yourself. I fell that this is a very important moral to live by. It tells you how to treat others in just one sentence. I have seen this quote in person in New York City's United Nations. It was a mosaic and the tour guide talked to us about what the meaning of it was. This quote is very true in life because if you don't want something done to you. I feel that this is a very important quote in life. I think the most inspirational quote on this movie was "the person pulling the oars does not have time to rock the boat” I think this means if you are busy doing something to the best of your abilities and working hard you won't have time to cause mischief or trouble.

This video showed me many great philosophies to live life by. Most all quotes thought of have to do with living life to the fullest or helping others. I chose the quote, "A man may die, a nation may fall, but an idea lives on" I think that this means many people have fought for there lives and died. Nations have fallen and some haven't recovered and some never will. These men (and women) die, and nations fall all for one reason. This reason is an "idea". It could be an idea of how to rule the country, freedom, or anything like this. And although these nations and people are destroyed, the idea and principle of why they were destroyed lives on. I also think that this was the most inspirational quote because you could interpret it in another way. You could interpret it as because other people have died, you still have the idea in your head and you can fight for what is right. It doesn't have to mean rushing off to war, but it means you can do small things like supporting troops in wars and handling things peacefully.

I have chosen the quote, " The difficulties we experience always illuminate the lessons we need most. These words mean a lot to me. I think that we get so caught up in the mistakes we make and the difficulties that we have, that we don't always realize the lesson that we need learn from those mistakes and difficulties. Some of most important life lessons come from things people do wrong. Nobody is perfect, knowing that the world should be more excepting of mistakes that we make.
I think that the most inspirational quote in the video would be," Those on top of the mountain didn't fall there." To me this quote is saying that most people do not get what they want unless they work for it. For example Neil Armstrong wasn't just placed on the moon, he had to have a goal and spend much of his life working toward it.

The quote I selected was "If you see a friend with out a smile, give them one of yours."When I read that I began to think.I began to think how when someone smiles at me it changes my attitude.Sometimes I can be in the meanest most grouchiest mood and I see someone I know and they smile at me.When that happens I begen to smile and change in moods.And when I see someone upset or grouchy I start to talk to them and I smile then they smile.After doing something like that I feel realy good the rest of the day.

This video was so ensperational and helpful, it made me think about most of my life and how if I knew these quotes I would have done better. The quote I chose was the very first one that says,"Get a good idea and stay with it, Dog it, and work it until it's done, and done right." I chose this quote because most of the time I may quit when I am half way done with something or I may finish it and it came out wrong and I just decided that I am not going to fix it and throw it away. If I had known and/or seen this quote I probaly would have tried a little harder or a little longer and got it right. I think that this video was the most inspirational out of them all.
Even though you didn't ask me this I wanted to tell you this. I loved this video besides the "We Didn't Start The Fire" video this one is second best hands down. I believe this is true because of all the ways this video shows people how to go about life. The quote I selected was "A flower that follows the sun does so even on cloudy days." I chose this quote for the simple reason that I try and go by this quote. This quote means to me that you follow your dreams no matter what, even if there is one lousy day somewhere in between good ones. I also think this means that even though you may feel down one day there is always the next day to do everything you have always wanted to. This is so because no matter how old this quote gets it is the only one that can stand firm and be a great example for the people in the world today.
The video "Great Quotes" was one of my favorites. I liked it so much because the featured quotes were ones that you might use in everyday life. To me that quote means to be a leader, you can't always follow what others do, because that would make you a 'follower'. So in order to be the best leader you can be, sometimes that could means turning your back on friends if they want to follow the "bad" crowd. For example, just because your friends follow the bad crowd, dosen't mean you should too. That won't get you anywhere in life. So basically, you should never be a follower, ALWAYS be a leader. It's the best way to go.
I think the most important quote is the one that said tha 'A friend is someone who knows all about you, and loves you just the same.' I really thought about that one, and how much all my friends really do care about me, and how I hope they know I love them back! I liked the one about the surfer, too. All the quotes are meaningful, though. *When I told my Mom about the quote I chose, she said, "No, a friend is someone who will bail you out of jail. A best friend is the one that will be sitting beside you in the cell saying that it was totally worth it!"
I liked the video “Great Quotes.” I am encouraged by meaningful quotes. They make me think about my life and future. There were a lot of sayings that made me think. Some of them were a little difficult to understand. The video went a little fast, so I had to pause it a lot. I really had to watch it about three times to get all the sayings. Then, some of them were not easy to read because the “Teacher tube” sign was in front of some of the words. I did finally figure out all of the quotes though. I would have to say that the quote that meant a lot to me was the picture of the hikers beside the mountain and lake. It said, “Those on top of the mountain didn’t fall there.” I really liked it because it took a lot of time and determination to get to the top of that mountain. The saying means that you just don’t get things by having them fall in your lap. If you want to accomplish something, you will have to work hard for it. Hikers train for a long time before they try to make it up a gigantic mountain. They don’t get to the top in a minute, it might take them days. Nothing worthwhile usually comes easy.

Dog it, and work it until it’s done, and done right.” I think that Walt Disney is a brilliant man. He started his amusement parks with just a dream. He had a vision of the perfect park, and with hard work, planning, and determination he made many dreams come true. His brother Roy told him that he was spending too much money. He had many disappointments, but he kept on going. He visited amusement parks all over the world. He was very disappointed in the way the parks were run down and not kept nice. He promised that if people visited his parks, they would be in perfect shape. He strived for perfection. “Everybody can make their dreams come true. It takes a dream… faith in it… and hard work. But that’s not quite true because it’s so much fun you hardly realize it’s work.” This was another one of his quotes. He was an astonishing man. I hope that someday I have the determination that he once had. The people that run his parks today are still dreaming his dream.

I fell this quote means that even though the sun has gone down and the day may be over, as long as you did something worth while that day, you will always remember it. It will last a lifetime in your mind. It can be a memory you will never forget.
I would have to say the most inspirtational quote would be "It takes courage to stand up and speak. It takes courage to sit down and listen". If you believe strongly in something you should not be afraid to stand up and fight for your belief. You also need to listen to others, sometimes people know a little more than you do. You might even learn something you didn't already know. You need to realize when it is the right time to speak, or the right time to listen. Choose your words wisely!

This quote means that you can't blame something on somebody if you don't have proof to back it up. For example, if there was a bad kid in a class and something was stolen in class, automatically everyone would instantly point their fingers at the one that usually is the trouble maker. Everyone just assumed he did it because he is usually the one behind the mischief only this time he didn't do it because after searching the classroom it wasn't stolen after all it was just misplaced. I really liked this video because it had a lot of lessons that not many of us had not learned yet. This video also taught me many new quotes that I haven’t heard of before. The music in this video was pretty good, too but not the best one that I have heard of. I think that it’s so because I think it is trying to say that you should stand up for what you believe in and never give up with it. Another lesson it you shouldn’t just listen to your self but others, too. They may not like what you’re doing or may want to do something the same as you but in a different way that is much better but you won’t hear them unless you take the time to sit and listen to them.

I really liked this video because the quotes could be used in just about every situation in life. The quotes were very inspiring because they made me think about the deeper meaning that they had besides what was written. My favorite quote would have to be "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I liked this quote because if you want someone to treat you nicely, you have to treat them the same way. It is a very good motto for life. I saw this quote on a glass mosiac in New York City in the United Nations on our gifted field trip last spring. To me, the most inspirational quote was, "those on top of the mountain did't fall there." I was inspired by it because it is so true. I think it means that you can't expect success to happen unless you are willing to work hard for it. It's not just going to happen on its own. As I was reading these quotes, I kind of wondered what inspired the people that said them, such as what good or bad circumstances happened in their lives. The short movie that we watched had a great lesson, it said that the things that people say can and does have a big influence on people's lives. Saying one thing to somebody can change their life and or your life as well. You shouldnt only think before you speak but you should think about what your are going to say and how it might reflect and act on your personality as a person. What this quote means to me is that no matter how great a result is, it will not be rewarding, if you don’t come upon achievements on your own. You learn from the mistakes you make, and you make mistakes by taking risks. If you never go out of your comfort zone to take risks, you won’t learn. It also means that you have to be true to yourself, when you do, that is when you can be truly happy. Following others and not being comfortable with who you are, will not lead to happiness. Trying to be someone that you are not is stressful. They only way you can truly be great is to work hard at accomplishing your goals and be appreciative of who you are and what you have. Hard work can pay off with extravagant impacts to yours and others lives. If your are confident with yourself, and are willing to work hard, anything is possible.

I saw the mural with this quote on it at the United Nations last spring. The mural is made with thousands of tiny pieces of tile and was stunning and beautiful to see. I thought then, that it is such a simple saying, “Do unto others, as you would have others do unto to you”, but it could have a huge impact on the world if people really practiced it. On the tour through the U.N. we saw photos and exhibits of war, suffering and pain. The horrible things that humans have done to each other throughout history is terrible. All the suffering could be prevented if people followed this simple rule. Our world would be a much more peaceful and happy place if everyone would follow this one simple quote.

I liked this video this week. I am going to pick the quote, " Those on top of the mountain, didn't fall there". I think that means, The people had enough courage to go to the top of the mountain, they didn't just fall there. I probably would not have enough courage to do that. I am afraid of heights. I think the most inspirational qoute is, " If you see someone without a smile, give them one". I think that is the most inspirational one because it means that everyone should be happy, no matter if you are or not. When people work hard they are earning what they want and achieving a goal. Very rarely would someone just come across something they have always wanted. I have chosen the quote, "Those on top of the mountain, didn't fall there." This quote helps me understand that if you want something, you have to work for it, and not make someone else do it for you. For example, the person on top of the mountain didn't fall there, and most likely, they didn't have anyone carry them up to the top of the mountain either. They worked hard climbing that mountain, because it's something that they wanted to accomplish, not something they wanted some else to accomplish it for them.
I also think that this quote is the most inspirational. A lot of people worked hard so that they could accomplish want they wanted to. Another example would be that Neil Armstrong didn't fall out of the sky, and land on the moon. He worked hard for what he wanted to do, and accomplished it on his own. Recently I went to a retreat for our school about leadership, for me this is what that quote means. This video showed me many great philosophies to live life by. Most all quotes thought of have to do with living life to the fullest or helping others. I chose the quote, "A man may die, a nation may fall, but an idea lives on" I think that this means many people have fought for there lives and died. Nations have fallen and some haven't recovered and some never will. These men (and women) die, and nations fall all for one reason. This reason is an "idea". It could be an idea of how to rule the country, freedom, or anything like this. And although these nations and people are destroyed, the idea and principle of why they were destroyed lives on. I also think that this was the most inspirational quote because you could interpret it in another way. You could interpret it as because other people have died, you still have the idea in your head and you can fight for what is right. It doesn't have to mean rushing off to war, but it means you can do small things like supporting troops in wars and handling things peacefully.

I think that we get so caught up in the mistakes we make and the difficulties that we have, that we don't always realize the lesson that we need learn from those mistakes and difficulties. Some of most important life lessons come from things people do wrong. Nobody is perfect, knowing that the world should be more excepting of mistakes that we make.
I think that the most inspirational quote in the video would be," Those on top of the mountain didn't fall there." To me this quote is saying that most people do not get what they want unless they work for it. For example Neil Armstrong wasn't just placed on the moon, he had to have a goal and spend much of his life working toward it.
This is one my favorites and one of the best videos we have watched this year. I also liked the most recent video we watched. THE END!! hehe

I liked this blog.It was a little different then the others but I still liked it.It was also very inspirational.
The quote I selected was "If you see a friend with out a smile, give them one of yours."When I read that I began to think.I began to think how when someone smiles at me it changes my attitude.Sometimes I can be in the meanest most grouchiest mood and I see someone I know and they smile at me.When that happens I begen to smile and change in moods.And when I see someone upset or grouchy I start to talk to them and I smile then they smile.After doing something like that I feel realy good the rest of the day.

There were many inspirational quotes in this video but the one I liked was "Don’t point a finger where you’ve never lent a hand". To me this video means don’t criticize or talk negative about something if you haven’t done something to try to make a positive change. The most inspiring quote I read off this video was "Go with life’s flow, like a surfboard rider. Know that your power lifting, and carrying you forward, is much greater than your own".
The quote that I selected from the video is " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". To me, this quote means that you should treat others the way that you would desire for other people to treat you. I think that the most inspirational quote in this video was " Our successes are only as big as our dreams". This means that if you don't believe that you can do things in life, that they won't get accomplished because of a lack of self-confidence. If you have a certain job or desire in your life, you need to perservere to succeed.

I think it mean's that if a friend isn't smiling and they are having a bad day comfort them, and tell them everything's going to be all right. I think if we all lived by that it would be a more peaceful in the world. This video was so ensperational and helpful, it made me think about most of my life and how if I knew these quotes I would have done better. The quote I chose was the very first one that says,"Get a good idea and stay with it, Dog it, and work it until it's done, and done right." I chose this quote because most of the time I may quit when I am half way done with something or I may finish it and it came out wrong and I just decided that I am not going to fix it and throw it away. If I had known and/or seen this quote I probaly would have tried a little harder or a little longer and got it right. I think that this video was the most inspirational out of them all.

Even though you didn't ask me this I wanted to tell you this. I loved this video besides the "We Didn't Start The Fire" video this one is second best hands down. I believe this is true because of all the ways this video shows people how to go about life. The quote I selected was "A flower that follows the sun does so even on cloudy days." I chose this quote for the simple reason that I try and go by this quote. This quote means to me that you follow your dreams no matter what, even if there is one lousy day somewhere in between good ones. I also think this means that even though you may feel down one day there is always the next day to do everything you have always wanted to. The most inspirational quote in this video to me is the classic "Do unto others as you would have someone to you". The video "Great Quotes" was one of my favorites. I liked it so much because the featured quotes were ones that you might use in everyday life.
The quote that I selected was "To lead a symphony, you must occasionally turn your back onthe crowd". To me that quote means to be a leader, you can't always follow what others do, because that would make you a 'follower'. So in order to be the best leader you can be, sometimes that could means turning your back on friends if they want to follow the "bad" crowd. For example, just because your friends follow the bad crowd, dosen't mean you should too. That won't get you anywhere in life.
So basically, you should never be a follower, ALWAYS be a leader. It's the best way to go.

I think the most important quote is the one that said tha 'A friend is someone who knows all about you, and loves you just the same.' I really thought about that one, and how much all my friends really do care about me, and how I hope they know I love them back! I liked the one about the surfer, too. All the quotes are meaningful, though.
*When I told my Mom about the quote I chose, she said, "No, a friend is someone who will bail you out of jail. A best friend is the one that will be sitting beside you in the cell saying that it was totally worth it!"
I liked the video “Great Quotes.” I am encouraged by meaningful quotes. They make me think about my life and future. There were a lot of sayings that made me think. Some of them were a little difficult to understand. The video went a little fast, so I had to pause it a lot. I really had to watch it about three times to get all the sayings. Then, some of them were not easy to read because the “Teacher tube” sign was in front of some of the words. I did finally figure out all of the quotes though.
I would have to say that the quote that meant a lot to me was the picture of the hikers beside the mountain and lake. It said, “Those on top of the mountain didn’t fall there.” I really liked it because it took a lot of time and determination to get to the top of that mountain. The saying means that you just don’t get things by having them fall in your lap. If you want to accomplish something, you will have to work hard for it. Hikers train for a long time before they try to make it up a gigantic mountain. They don’t get to the top in a minute, it might take them days. Nothing worthwhile usually comes easy.
The most inspirational quotation would probably be the one by Walt Disney which said, - “Get a good idea and stay with it. Dog it, and work it until it’s done, and done right.” I think that Walt Disney is a brilliant man. He started his amusement parks with just a dream. He had a vision of the perfect park, and with hard work, planning, and determination he made many dreams come true. His brother Roy told him that he was spending too much money. He had many disappointments, but he kept on going. He visited amusement parks all over the world. He was very disappointed in the way the parks were run down and not kept nice. He promised that if people visited his parks, they would be in perfect shape. He strived for perfection. “Everybody can make their dreams come true. It takes a dream… faith in it… and hard work. But that’s not quite true because it’s so much fun you hardly realize it’s work.” This was another one of his quotes. He was an astonishing man. I hope that someday I have the determination that he once had. The people that run his parks today are still dreaming his dream.

The quote I think i understood the most was the one that went like this, “ Those on the top of the mountain didn’t fall there.” I think it means that don’t be jealous because other people beat you at something because they had to try their hardest to reach the same goal.
The most inspirational quote in this video was the one was this one “ the person pulling the oars doesn’t have time to rock the boat”. I think it means that if you are working and trying your hardest to reach a goal, you won’t have time to do negative things.
I liked this video because it was fun picking out the quotes I heard before and figuring out the meanings to some of the new ones I never heard before. The video was hard to read but i managed to make out most of the words. I couldn’t finish some of the quotes because of the Teacher Tube picture at the bottom of the screen.

I fell this quote means that even though the sun has gone down and the day may be over, as long as you did something worth while that day, you will always remember it. It will last a lifetime in your mind. It can be a memory you will never forget.
I would have to say the most inspirtational quote would be "It takes courage to stand up and speak. It takes courage to sit down and listen". If you believe strongly in something you should not be afraid to stand up and fight for your belief. You also need to listen to others, sometimes people know a little more than you do. You might even learn something you didn't already know. You need to realize when it is the right time to speak, or the right time to listen. Choose your words wisely!

"Great Quotes" was an inspirational video, but I did not enjoy it as much as the other videos we have watched so far. The quote selected is "Don't point fingers!" This quote means that you can't blame something on somebody if you don't have proof to back it up. For example, if there was a bad kid in a class and something was stolen in class, automatically everyone would instantly point their fingers at the one that usually is the trouble maker. Everyone just assumed he did it because he is usually the one behind the mischief only this time he didn't do it because after searching the classroom it wasn't stolen after all it was just misplaced. The most inspirational quote in the video for me was "A person who pulls the oars can't rock the boat". This means that if you are busy rowing the boat then you don't have time to get into trouble. This is why I try to keep myself active in sports, because between my family, school and my extra curricular activities I don't have time to get into things I shouldn't be doing.

I really liked this video because it had a lot of lessons that not many of us had not learned yet. This video also taught me many new quotes that I haven’t heard of before. The music in this video was pretty good, too but not the best one that I have heard of.
I liked the quote “No day is over if it makes a memory” because I think it means that a day that you treasure most isn’t really over as long as you make it a memory. If you make a day one that you never want to end, it won’t as long as you remember it and never forget it no matter what. I think it’s also saying that a day will eventually end but if you keep it a memory it will last for ever.
I think the most inspirational quote in this video was “A friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you no matter what.” I picked this quote because I think it’s trying to say that true friends would know you from the inside, out and would never do any thing to hurt you. I shouldn’t matter if you look ugly or pretty or Mexican or Asian, your friend should like you for the way you are not how you look. A good friend would never make fun of you, not talk to you because you did something to embarrass them self by accident, and think you look different so they shouldn’t talk to you. They would stick up for you and not care how you look or dress, and like you for who you are on the inside.
I also think that “It takes courage to stand up and speak. It also takes courage to sit down and listen” is also inspirational, too. I think that it’s so because I think it is trying to say that you should stand up for what you believe in and never give up with it. Another lesson it you shouldn’t just listen to your self but others, too. They may not like what you’re doing or may want to do something the same as you but in a different way that is much better but you won’t hear them unless you take the time to sit and listen to them.

I saw this quote on a glass mosiac in New York City in the United Nations on our gifted field trip last spring. I think it means that you can't expect success to happen unless you are willing to work hard for it. It's not just going to happen on its own. As I was reading these quotes, I kind of wondered what inspired the people that said them,

Saying one thing to somebody can change their life and or your life as well. You shouldnt only think before you speak but you should think about what your are going to say and how it might reflect and act on your personality as a person. What this quote means to me is that no matter how great a result is, it will not be rewarding, if you don’t come upon achievements on your own. You learn from the mistakes you make, and you make mistakes by taking risks. If you never go out of your comfort zone to take risks, you won’t learn. It also means that you have to be true to yourself, when you do, that is when you can be truly happy. Following others and not being comfortable with who you are, will not lead to happiness. Trying to be someone that you are not is stressful. They only way you can truly be great is to work hard at accomplishing your goals and be appreciative of who you are and what you have. I saw the mural with this quote on it at the United Nations last spring. The mural is made with thousands of tiny pieces of tile and was stunning and beautiful to see. I thought then, that it is such a simple saying, “Do unto others, as you would have others do unto to you”, but it could have a huge impact on the world if people really practiced it. On the tour through the U.N. we saw photos and exhibits of war, suffering and pain. The horrible things that humans have done to each other throughout history is terrible. All the suffering could be prevented if people followed this simple rule. Our world would be a much more peaceful and happy place if everyone would follow this one simple quote.

I liked this video this week. I am going to pick the quote, " Those on top of the mountain, didn't fall there".
I think that means, The people had enough courage to go to the top of the mountain, they didn't just fall there.
I probably would not have enough courage to do that. I am afraid of heights.
I think the most inspirational qoute is, " If you see someone without a smile, give them one". I think that is the most inspirational one because it means that everyone should be happy, no matter if you are or not.
It tells you that you should try to cheer people up even if they are sad, mad or grumpy.

I really enjoyed this video, there were a lot of great quotes and ideas. It really reminds us about the ways we should act. The quote in the video that meant the most to me was “Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You.” We also know this saying as The Golden Rule. We all have feelings and it’s too easy to be thoughtless and hurt other people. I don’t like it when people are mean to me, so I try to be as nice as a person as I can be. No matter where or when - school, sports, or any other situation - you should treat everyone with equality, respect, and dignity. Many people in the world forget about other people’s feelings.
The most inspirational quote in this video was “Those on the mountain didn't fall there." This makes me realize that I have to work hard to get where I want to go. You can’t get to the top of the mountain by slacking.

Abraham Lincoln had to work up to become president. Don't expect your magically going to achieve your goal without working for it. I really enjoyed watching this video because it was interesting. I chose the quote, "Learn from the mistakes of others, you may not live long enough to make them all yourself." I had some experience with this quote. My sister stole my mom's car, and she ended up wrecking it. So, now I know not to steal my mom's car. The most inspirational quote would probably be "The people on top of the mountain didn't fall there." I think this is the most inspirational quote because it tells you that you can't get anywhere by waiting for it. You have to go out and climb your mountain.

It means that if you treat everyone horrible how do you think they are going to feel about you. If you want people to like you and be nice to you, then be nice to them.

It means to me that some people liked to be praise and spoiled and fail later on than being criticized on what we are doing wrong and fixing it.
The most inspirational quote would be a tie between the one that talk about excepting who you are and improving on what you know and becoming a better person, and the other one is "do to others as he would want done to you".

My life and probably self esteem would be much higher then it is now. There wouldn’t be any bullies or problems such as school shooting, fights or really even hurt feelings. This saying means a lot to be because I have been taught by that saying my whole life. It always doesn’t work for me, because I am not perfect but it does help me from getting into any fights and wanting to take back something I said. I don’t know about your opinion but this is one of the most inspirational quote to me, but probably that it was one of the things I have known my whole life. Also it makes me know that when I do think about that quote and do what it says to do I know I am doing the right thing, and that makes me feel good inside.

This really speaks to me because of the truth behind it. If everyone in the world were immediately successful without having to work for anything, there would no drive behind the life of today’s society. That drive is what puts the United States of America on the top of the other countries in the world. Hard work pays off and that is evident throughout our country. The moral of the quote is that the people on top work to get there, they were not given that place.

I have chosen the quote, "Those on top of the mountain, didn't fall there." This quote helps me understand that if you want something, you have to work for it, and not make someone else do it for you. For example, the person on top of the mountain didn't fall there, and most likely, they didn't have anyone carry them up to the top of the mountain either. They worked hard climbing that mountain, because it's something that they wanted to accomplish, not something they wanted some else to accomplish it for them.
I also think that this quote is the most inspirational. A lot of people worked hard so that they could accomplish want they wanted to. Another example would be that Neil Armstrong didn't fall out of the sky, and land on the moon. He worked hard for what he wanted to do, and accomplished it on his own. When ou put your mind to something, work hard to get there!
Just to let you know, I think that this is my favorite video so far. I love reading all of the quotes and I think that all of them are very meaning-full!

That video was interesting, except I think the quotes came and left to fast. The quote I chose was “Our successes are only as big as our dreams”. What I think the quote is saying that if you want something big you have to think big, because things will not magically happen you have to think of it first then work for it. Success is not an overnight thing, you have to want it enough to receive it. This quote is important because it tells you that you have think of something and want dream for it, anything is possible to receive with good ideas.

Oh wow! This one was the most inspirational movie we have blogged on. I really liked it.
My favorite quote was... "To lead a symphony you must occasionally turn your back on the crowd". This one really stood out for me. I really liked this one because I can relate. Recently I went to a retreat for our school about leadership, for me this is what that quote means. It means when everyone else is doing one thing, you need to have the courage to stand up and speak your mind because you know what's right. I learned that safety and your own personal morals are more important than being popular or the coolest. Everyone is entitled to speak their mind and have their own opinion. Don't say one thing just because someone you think is cool is saying it. Do what you feel is right, and most of the time your heart and your first instinct tells you the right thing.
"Great Quotes" was a cool video, but I had to keep pausing to write down each quote. After writing them all down, I finally chose "A friend is someone who knows all about you...and loves you just the same". This quote is very true. A friend is someone you hold very close to your heart just like someone in your family. This quote is saying that just like you don't have to put on fronts for your family you shouldn't have to put on a fake face for your friends. It means you shouldn't have to change who you are just to get someone to be your friend. They should like you for who you are and that includes even your silly habits. I picked this quote because just as my family is very important to me so are my friends. My friends are still my friends even when I do something silly or strange. They still think I am cool because they are my true friends.

I like this quote because there is a lot of true meaning in what it says. If someone is really my true friend, knows all about me and still is my friend they will always be there for me in any situation. A good friend knows the good about you and the bad and still will help you, be there for you in whatever you go through. If I am to be a good friend I will do the same for them. This friend will always be there for you no matter what you wear, or what you look like, or even if you say the wrong thing. They just accept you and help you to become a better person. They see the real you. You see the real them and will also be there for them. A really good friend like this is hard to find. When you do have a great friend you have to be a really good friend to keep the relationship going. I feel fortunate as I have 2 good friends that fit this description.

How does this quote inspire me? It makes me think, it is ok to dream. We all have to have dreams in our life time. Dreams help us look to the future, give us inspiration to work hard, give us a will to be successful and succeed. Without people having dreams, in the past our lives would be totally different now. There would be no electricity, telephones, cars, computers, etc. People need to dream and believe that because of their good dreams they can make positive changes. I have to believe that if I have dreams that could make a difference, I cannot give up, but I have to work toward that goal, my dream, make it a success and make a positive difference.

This video was "ok" but it kept pausing cause I'm on wireless. I chose "A man may die, a nation may fall, but an idea lives on" because it was the only one i could remember (and I don't feel like waiting 20 more minutes to watch it again). I think this means that someone can destroy everything but that idea will be carried on either directly or indirectly. “It takes courage to stand up and speak.
