My favorite quote was a tie between 'Keep It Simple' and "If I Am Like Others Who Will Be Like Me?'. I liked the "Keep It Simple' quote because alot of people over think things and miss the point; however I must admit that the "If I Am Like Others Who Will Be Like Me?' quote really spoke to me. It applies to pretty much everyone I know. Think about it, people are so obsessed with what others think of them today, they stop thinking 'what do I think of myself?'. That's how you can get into some deep trouble. If you want others to like you you have to like yourself. How many kids walk down the hall and worry about how other kids in the hall think of them? Half the time it isn't even people they know. A good example of this is labels. Everyone seems to label themselves and others. If someone wears black then most likely they will be labeled as an 'emo' or 'goth'. There's no way to stop it from happening, all you can do is be confident in yourself and not care what others are thinking of you. I think everyone could stand to learn something from this quote.

My favorite quote is, "We could learn a lot from Crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box". I think this quote is talking about the world and the people in it. As a society, we are all different. We have many different sides to our personalities. We are all different races, religions and different colors. There are many sides to our personalities. Some of us are sharp, some are pretty and some are just down-right dull. Some people have names that we may consider weird or we may consider that person to be a little weird. However, what we have in common is that we are all human beings, and no matter what our differences are, we have to live on our planet together. Just being around people everyday, in school, in church, at the mall, or even at home we can see different personalities, ideas, feelings that we can't change and therefore, have to live with. You can't change what a crayon is (you can cut it up, break it, etc.) but in the end it's still a crayon. The same is true with people. They are what they are, and we have to learn to be tolerant. Accepting differences is the only way to exist peacefully in "our box of crayons."

I, actually, have two favorite quotes from this video. The first is "Children are likely to live up to what you believe in them". I think that this quote means that in order for a child to grow and become part of society, they need to have people behind them that care about them and have high expectations of them. My second favorite quote was "We could learn a lot from Crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but all have to live in the same box. This quote is saying that we have to learn how to live with other people. Everyone is created differently, and no two people on Earth are alike. Some are black, some are white. Some tall and others short. Some are American and some are European, but we all have to share Earth and live together. You can't reshape a crayon. You can mold it to be something else, but underneath there will always be a crayon.

My favorite quote is that "Practice Makes Perfect" The reason this was my favorite quote because if your new at something you can't just jump right into it you have to practice to get better at it. For example, If it is your first time at playing football you would need to practice to win games. Like if you want to get an “A” on a test you would have to study to also get better at it.

Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box". I think that we can all relate to this quote because we are all different races/colors,some have weird names, like the crayon called "Macaroni and Cheese", and some are pretty.I think we should all just settle for the "type of crayon" we are given and forget the fact that the person/crayon beside us is a better color/race. The colors don't matter because all the colors are the same at the end of the day. They all are crayons and we are all humans. I also think the quote is referring to society and how everyone is differnt. If you look in a new crayon box,the crayons should be grouped together according to there color . In the world, people There are lots of different colors and types of crayons and I think that each person picks the one they want to be like. Some colors of crayons go better with each other, which is kind of like the friends you have.

My favorite quote from this video is “Concentration is the secret to strength.” This is my favorite quote because of the fact that I play a lot of different sports and before every game I try to concentrate on the game but I keep getting distracted from it because of my teammates. When I’m able to concentrate without any distractions, I play the best games of my life, even if I have a broken finger or dislocated thumb. Every day you concentrate even when you don’t know you are. You concentrate during school, at work, at wal-mart getting groceries, and even at home laying down watching TV. So as you can see concentrating is one of the most important concepts in life. Well that’s all I have to say for this week, see you next time Ms. Constable.

My favorite quote from this video is "If I act like everybody else, who will act like me?" it means don't try to fit in with the crowd when if you be yourself you can start your own. People at my school try to be like everybody else a lot of the time. It gets annoying when they act like they know everything when they don't know anything. I personally don't want to be known as a group or as a friend of someone. I like to be known as Isabella for what I did not what somebody else did and I followed.

My favorite quote from the video is 'keep it simple' because it's the only one I can remember. The reason why I like this qoute is because I look over things like they aren't important. One way I keep it simple would be in school. I make good grades but 90% of the time I dont like to do the work.

My favorite quote from this video was if i am like others who is going to be like me. I like this quote becouse i have always been tought to be a leader and not a follower and that quote falls under the same catagory. And also the fact that you have to be yourself whereever you are.

My favorite quote is practice makes perfect because that is true if you practice enough you will become really good at something like basketball because I was not good before but now that I prctice a lot and I am good at playing basketball and all of the other sports like football, tennis, soccer and everything else and I practice at every thing but I am still not good at every thing but I am ok at those kind of sports not the best or anything and if you study a lot you will do perfect on a test or a quiz and anything else you would have to do in school

My favorite quote from this video was "We could learn a lot from Crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box". It is my favorite quote one because it just stuck out more than all the other ones. Another reason is that it means that threes a lot of different people in the world but all have the same meaning in life. That is why the crayons were made to be used for something like how God had made us.

The quote i liked the most from this video would be "We could learn alot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have wierd names, and all are different colors, but all have to live in the same box." This quote is saying that everyone is different in their own way, and that we should look at each others as equals because no one person is more important or better than another. In everyday life I've realized some people treat others better or "favorite" them for reasons such as they're nicer, smarter, or even dumb things such as having more money than others. When really they should realize that everybody is the same and no one person is better in anway

My favorite quote is " keep it simple ". The only time I like to do something the hard way is if it is more fun. Becuase doing things the easy way, does not mean it is always the fun way. For example, it would be easier to just not go to a football game but it would be more fun too. However, it can also work the opposite way to. For example, it is much easier to pay someone to do work around your house than to do it yourself. But at the same time it is cheaper to do it yourself.

I liked all of the quotes that are used in this video. But my favorite was “Keep it Simple”. I think that means do not make every thing hard. Do not take a project that should only take you ten minutes in to 2 hours. Also do not over do every thing in life. Just live life and have fun in your life and do not always work.

My favorite qoute from this video is "Practice Makes Perfect". The reason why I like this qoute is because it is the truth if you dont practice you will never get better. Another reason for me choosing this qoute is because you cant just do something like join a sport without know how to do the sport so you have to practice and get at least a little better at it and then they could help you do even better. This qoute also applies to school if you are not good at Math or any other subject you ask the teacher if there is a place you could go to or a group you could join to get help.An example of this qoute is, I joined bowling leauge about 5 years ago and I was not that good and I joined the league and I bowled when ever I could so I could get better and just the other day I got a 192 game and when I started out I got like an 60 gmae. That is an example of Thge qoute "practice Makes Perfect". I would have to say that is my favorite qoute from the movie.

My favorite quotes are “Lost time is never found” and “Every second is of infinite value.” Here’s an analogy. Time is like money. Every second you spend that money, you can never get it back. If you spend your money wisely, you will be rewarded. Both quotes mean that time is valuable. These quotes tell me that I should think before I do something, utilize my time, and use every second wisely. These quotes come into play a lot at school. You should always utilize your time and efficiently use your work time. If you are working on an assignment in class, and you goof off, you can never get that class time back. You should remember these quotes during the school day.

My favorite quote in this video would have to be "Practice makes perfect," it would have to be this because it is a true statement. When you work hard and try and practice you can get better and become the best at what you are trying to do. When i practice basketball i always improve and when yo uput your mind to things anything can happen. When i study in different ways and I get better at studying then i usually get "A's" on the quiz or test. THis is a really important quote, and a really good one too.

My favorite quote is "Practice Makes Perfect". I don't think you can practice to be perfect, because nothing or noone is perfect. But practice makes you better in everything you do. An example would be sports, like basketball. You practice to get better, but no one has a perfect game. Shots are always going to be missed and fouls are always going to be given. Noone can completely play a perfect game. In school you can study as much as you can, but you will never go through school with a 100% on all assignments. Practice doesn't make perfect, but it can help you learn more and be better at things.

My favorite quote is "If I am like others...who will be like me?". The quote, to me, means that I'm not my own person, and people probably think I'm copying them, when I'm not. My little cousin. Molly, wants to be exactly like me. She wants braces, long dirty blonde hair, and wants to learn Japanese. She looks up to me, and her sister, Erin, looks up to my brother. She wears boy's clothes and likes to be with Shea when we're ove at their house.

My favorite quote in the video is “you don’t fail until you quit.” I like this one because it is one that I need to work on and concur. In my day I have school football and then homework. At school I have to give it my best so I don’t have as much homework and to keep my grades up. At football if I don’t work hard then I won’t be able to play in the games. If I don’t do my homework and don’t do it the right way then I will fail all my classes and get grounded.

Unknown said...

My quote that I picked from this movie is Practice Makes Perfect. The reason I pick this quote because every day I use this quote. This quote means if you work hard at something for a long time you will finally get good at it. When ever I am at football practice I use this quote so I can get better at football. When ever I get a chance to ride my dirt bike I practice jumping, riding harder, and taking a high and sharp bum. Practice Makes Perfect means if you tried and make an effort at something and fail and start to practice it what ever you did and did not cecied than after a while you while get better.

My favorite quote was “Personally, I’m always ready to learn but sometimes I don’t like being taught.” I like this quote because I like to learn new things but sometimes teachers make it boring or they might be teaching I don’t care a whole lot about. One example of that everyday is in band class. I’ve been in band for about a year now and always when Mr. Sullivan passes out a new song I hope for something that’s hard to play. Normally it’s not hard but he tries to teach us the part anyway and I already know how to play it so I don’t like being taught something I can already do.

There were so many great quotes in this video that I really had to stop and think about which one was my favorite. After a lot of contemplation… it came down to two quotes that were really interesting to me and made me think. BUT… my favorite one was – KEEP IT SIMPLE… The quote just has white words with a black background.

These words are plain, easy, not difficult, and ballin. This reflects my personality. I like this phrase because it really caught my eye. There wasn’t any color or pictures with it. I have seen the phrase, Keep it Simple Stupid. That quote made me think of that saying and it is pretty funny.

It just reminds me that sometimes everything is so complicated. School and life get sooooo busy sometimes. For example, I am playing football right now. I have practice right after school, then I come home and finish my homework, eat, and get ready for the next day. My life sure isn’t SIMPLE right now. It seems like we have 10 projects at once due at school. I think it is too much sometimes!! Life is filled with aggravation and messes.

Sometimes it is difficult for me to stay organized. I don’t always think of what I have to do next. I guess there is nothing magical about keeping my life simple, I just don’t like it when I have too many things to do at once.

My parents really get mad at me when I don’t stay organized. That is usually when I forget to do something. When I get overwhelmed I am going to think of this quote. KEEP IT SIMPLE. Maybe it will inspire me to take life a little easier, but try to get important things done in my life.

My favorite quote from the movie was ''You can't change the tide, But you can learn to swim.'' I love that quote because you can't always change the situation your in, so you have to get used to it. I have had to do that at home, sometimes I can't change the way my parents discipline me , but I can change me and the way I act. I think everyone should learn this quote.

My favorite quote in this video is "Think outside the box." This quote means that thinking differently is ok. This quote implicates to me cause on a lot of challenges that I face, I always think ahead and of different ways to do that challenge. My favorite quote is "If I am like others who will be like me" I think it means to be yourself instead of trying to be like someoneelse beacause nobody else is just like you. It pretty much means that you are trying to be like your friend. Everyone is different in so many ways. Its just telling you to be yourself.

My favorite quote is "If I am like others who will be like me". I like that quote because I think everyone should be there own person. If everyone dressed and acted the same the world would be boring. A lot of people worry about what others might think about the way that they dress or act. I think that everyone should stop worrying about what others think and just act like themselves and dress the way you want to dress. A lot of kids at my school worry too much about being popular or fitting in so they go out and buy a lot clothes that other kids wear. .

I'd have to say that my favorite quote in this video was "We could learn a lot from Crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box".

To translate, the quote is saying that everyone is different. No one is exactly the same, not even identical twins. Some people are smart, some people are pretty, and some people are kind of, well, boring. But that's what makes us, us. You have to live with who your friends are, and you have to live with yourself. Nothing on the outside matters. You can't base your friends on what they look like, or else it won't be a true friendship. Friendship isn't a material thing. It's what's on the inside.

We all live on this one earth, no matter who we are. We may not get along with some people, but you have to get over your problems because sooner or later, you'll have to face them anyways. Once again, we all live on this one earth.

My favorite quote in this video is practice makes perfect. This quote implicates me because its the truth. The more you practice on something the better you get at it. For example, playing sports. If you would want to try to beat someone or another team you would have to practice to get better. Also lets say you want to have a contest with typing. Then you don't get on a computer and practice your typing and the other person does. Who would you expect to win? Just because your already good at something and you decide to have a contest or compete with another person or team you need to practice to get better!

The quote that stuck out the most to me happened to be the first one. "Children are likely to live up to what you believe in them." I see this quote taking affect in our everyday lives. Most of the time you can just look at their parents. They are likely to turn out similar to their mom and dad. Although, every once in a while that statement is not true. But you have to be aware of the peers you hang out with. If their parents have problems with alcohol or drugs, their children might see it as just a regular thing. On the other hand if kids have parents with good priorities and work ethics their children are most likely to be the same way.

My favorite quote is If i am like others who will i be. If i try to be like others, then i will never have time to be me. I fell like i need to make some changes in my life. But overall I like who i am. Some people might think that cheerleading is lame, but i think its great. I do what makes me happy in life. And try not to think about what other people say.

Grant said...

The quote I chose was “If we were to talk more and listen less we would have 2 mouths”. It gives you something to think about. How many people would rather voice their opinion, believing it is the best, instead of listening. Listening is a skill that each of us should try to learn to do more of. Some people talk, I think, just to hear themselves. If we were all better listeners maybe more could be accomplished with less work and less aggravation.

Examples in an ordinary day would be, all your friends being together and everyone wants to be heard at the same time. Instead of just listening to what someone is saying, there are continuous interruptions where someone wants to be heard over another. Then frustration occurs, sometimes arguments begin just because no one really listens.

The quote is true if you think about it. If God gave us only one mouth and 2 ears then, which should we use the most? If we have 2 ears and one mouth shouldn’t we listen more? We could all learn a great deal more if we would do more listening and then processing that information instead of the interruptions of talking too much.

My favorite quote from this video was practice makes perfect. I like this quote because it is very true and applies to my everyday life. "Practice makes perfect" means that if you practice and work hard enough you can eventually get better and make the tsk perfect. My coaches use this quote in baseball a lot. IN my life, I use this quote in class, by studying hard enough to make an a on a test.

my favorite quote is, "practice makes perfect", but thats not entirely true, perfect practice makes perfect. If you practice enough, you will get good, no matter what. For example, i was never that could at basketball till last year, when i started going everyday with my friends to the park, now im awesome at it. If you really want to get good at something, you need to practice or you won't get good at that certain sport. The better you want to play, the harder you need to train.

Another reason that I like it is because I believe that practice does make perfect. Although some people don't. When I am on the baseball field practicing. We have practice every day. And my coach always says that practice makes perfect. When he says that it makes me want to practice even more. Because I want to be perfect at baseball. I know that I can never be perfect, but I can try my best and work hard.

My favorite quote in this video was to “keep it simple” because it is tiring to tell you not to over do your self in a real life problem. Some people tell you to go above and beyond what ever your limits are but I like to do what the quote says is to keep it simple. Like my math teacher for an example she tells us (her classes) to improve and get better. Like to calculate numbers in our head instead of using a calculator because she says that us (her class) that we really on our calculators to much.

My favorite quote in this video was "practice makes perfect." This is my favorite quote because if you practice enough, you will most likely get better at whatever it is that you are practicing on. And if you don't practice or make an effort at all, then you will never get better at something. You practice to get better, but no kind of practice can make anything perfect. My favorite quote from the video would have to be, “If I am like the others, who will be like me?” This quote means if you follow the crowd and do not do your own thing you can’t be your own person. Following the crowd and just doing what is popular is defiantly not a good thing, being yourself is what you need to truly be. This quote means most to me because I do not act like the others, I am my own person. I don’t think that any person is exactly like me. I really enjoy being myself and being different from other people, because if everyone was the same the world would be a very boring place

My favorite quote is “what you know and what you think are two different things”. It means that if you know something then it is understood. It you think you know something then you are unsure about something. When I know something, I get questions correct. But when I think I know, it’s possible for my answer to be right or wrong when I don’t know for sure. When I think I think and when I know I know. I like that quote because when you are trying to prove something to someone and they say they think their answer is right and yours is wrong, and you know yours is right they only think but they don’t know but you know that yours is wrong.

My favorite quote is "Practice Makes Perfect." I have heard this quote my whole life. My dad must say that to me everyday! He's right though about practicing. If you want to do your best at anything, you have to practice. I remember when I was in first grade he used to always say we have to read books because I need the practice. I would be a better reader if I would practice and I did become a better reader. He then would tell me if I wanted to be a good golfer I had to practice. I practiced and practiced golf this summer and I did become a better golfer. Now,I complain about not being able to type fast enough on the computer and he keeps saying "PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT." That is a quote that applies to my life and I have seen the results of following that advice.

My favorite quote is "we could learn alot from crayons. my personal opinion about that is that you can learn alot from different people and things. Just because someone is different dont mean you cant learn something from them. You could have a problem with a math problem or a question in science and someone totally different from you could help you with that situation. Many different people can help with many different things. Just because people are different on the outside dont make them different on the inside.

My favorite quote was " children are likely to live up to what you believe of them!", because i have been told before i have a lot of potential and that i have the ability to take what ever i want and explore it farther than any one has before, and that quote just totally expresses what i believe in... YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOU MIND TO! I have always loved to explore music, but never had any musical talent that i knew of. I played many different instruments until i found i was able to under stand the trumpet better than the instruments i had tried before. I love playing it so much i was grounded from it for awhile because i played so much. Then some one noticed i had an aptitude for playing it and they signed me up for a tutor at rivesville. then i came to wfms and jioned the band. All of this was because i lived up to what people said i could.

My favorite quote from the video is “Keep it Simple” because some people over think things and go over the top with them to try to find something out. Like one time I watched 2001 (yes that 2001) and I was confused I tried to understand what it was about it kind of drove me nuts but I decided to watch it again. I’m glad I did I started to grasp the idea of what was behind it ( like every Kubrick film, you have to watch more than once to get it). Another example is that when I was younger, eight or nine, I wondered so much about the world around me it also bugged me a lot. I got older and just realized things happen, grass grows, sun shines, plants die, etc. So I believe that is why I chose this quote because it has applied to me more than once before.

My favorite quote from this is “We can learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box”. Honestly, I think crayons are a lot like humans. The world is full of people who are different. Just like crayons, humans are all unique and special in their own way! I say that not one person in this world is the same as another person. All people have their own special talent. I just think that if you do not think you are good at anything, think again!

I would have to say that my favorite quote in this video would have to be "Practice Makes Perfect." What this quote means to me is that you have to practice to be great a something. You just can't go out in the world, try sommething that you know you are not good at and expect to be good. An example from my everyday that illustes the quote that I have choosen is that a few years ago I started swimming and in compitions I would be upset because I wouldn't get 1st place. I practice of the years and now I'm getting first places in all the races that I swim.

Im going to have to say that "Practice makes perfect" is my favorite quote in this video. The quote means that you have to keep working hard to reach perfection and your goals. This quote means alot to me and implys to my everyday life. Just a couple days ago this implied to me. I rolled my ankle and couldc't walk. I had to use crutches to transport myself around. I have never used crutcjes before and i was afraid. I fell the first few times I had to use them. Then, I got beter and improved. Now, I can walk anywhere and I'm perfectly fine walking with them. That is one good example. Everybody should use this quote for school in all classes such as math and tech. ed. I also use this quote in sports. I think it affects most people in that category. Everybody ahs to practice to be decent at a sport. I guarantee you that Michael Jordan and Mia Hamm practiced everyday. Thats why they are super-athletes. Anyone could be Michael Jordan if they practiced as much as he did.

My favorite quote was “Concentration is the secret to strength.” I think the quote is my favorite because it relates to my life the most. I am a pretty athletic person and always play as rough as the boys even if I get hurt sometimes. If you practice and take the time to learn every aspect of the sport you are playing and really concentrate you will be not only a great athlete but a leader for the people arround you. That I think is the biggest strength you can have.

The quote that I picked is if I am like others who will be like me. I think it means to just be yourself and not what other people want you to be. Wear your own cloths and show your own uniqe stylefor example.

my favorite quote in this video was"We could learn a lot from Crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box".It means that everone is diffrent and not everyone looks and acts alike, but in the end we all live in the same world and come form the same place. When your walking in the mall or looking at your car window you see all the diffrent types of people and judge them by the way the look, act, dress. But in the end we all live in this world.when you see some one you look at them and they could be black, white, ugly, not so ugly but we are all a human just like a crayon is a crayon.Crayons come in many diffrent shapes and colors just like humans no human is alike.

My favorite quote is "If im like others who will be liike me" I think I would say that to one of my friends because she is always worried about what other people think about her. When you think about it that is how you can get into some really deep trouble! When you ask atrue friend they will tell you the truth but if you ask one of your not true friend they would lie to you and tell you if looked fine! Even if you looked like somone who works on a street corner! I hate when you look really bad and someone tells you that you don't! You shouldn't worry about what is a new! Think on how you can make somthing old look brand new!

My favorite quote was that friendship is a single soul dwelling in tow bodies. I like this quote because as in life, friends, is indispensable. Sincere friendship moving. Can be a real good friend with you to solve problems, share bliss, and you can in order to go through fire and water. We do not need false friendship. To me, true friends are very important. I can not afford to lose friends, lost any friends, as in all my life, erase a number of colors. For example: you encounter difficult times, your friend is willing to come forward and help you resolve the difficulties. I have a group of very good friends, we play together from small to grow up, almost 11 years. We have very good feelings between, if other people were to bully me, they will come to help me. If they do not understand the homework, I will be the patience to teach them.
So it seems to me that friendship is priceless, it really is important.

My favorite quote in this video was, "You see things and you ask "Why?" But I dream things and ask "Why not?"". That quote just had me written all over it. It is kinda what I feel whenever people ask me why I try something, or why I say something I did. "Why not?" It means nothing but CURIOSITY. Life would be boring without curiosity. If nobody ever tried something new life would be gray and dull. Nobody would wear new colors or a new piece of clothing. Nobody would even dare thinking of making it! Until one day someone tried it and people asked, "Why?". Their answer would be, "Why not?". That's why that quote is my favorite. Sometimes, in some of my classes I do weird things and try new stuff. And people don't know why. I do it because I get curious. I get curious to see the reactions that people make when I say things and I get curious sometimes just to find something and see what it is and what it does. And it is all because people ask why and I say, "Why not?"

my favorite quot i only have one and its probably if im like others who will be like me only because it is tellin the truth , i mean honestly what do i look like acting like others an if im not my self i mean who would be the person to do what i do or act like me . i mean ever one should be their self no matter what because being someone else just isnt you and when your someone else you could miss out on alot. Showing that you are your self is showing that you are also a leader .

My favorite qoute in that video is that practice makes perfect. That is my favorite qoute because it is the most true one. Cause if it is your first time trying something most likely your not going to be very good at it and your deffinetly not going to be perfect at it. The only thing that is not true about the qoute practice makes perfect is that it cant make you perfect cause know one is perfect but practice can and most likley make you a lot better. This is a qoute that i heard on a movie "if your not first your last" i think it means if you dont come in best you will come in worst,no second best, third best,or fourth best.
