Have you ever heard of " Twitter"? Why would any one ever use this site? Does this site share any similarities with My Space or Face Book? Could you ever imagine yourself using Twitter?
I have heard of Twitter before, but I have never known exactly what it was before watching this video. Some people,(like my nosy mother), would like to use Twitter because it is quick, easy, and updated a lot. It is like you are a part of their life knowing exactly and everything they are doing right at that particular moment. Yes, I have heard of Twitter. It is an application on my iPod, but I was never quite sure what it was until I watched the video. I think it would be a good site to get quick updates about what your family and friends are doing. This site is kind of like the status update area on My Space. They are similar because people on the status updates on My Space don't write a lot. They write how they are or what they are doing. I can imagine myself using Twitter because it seems pretty easy. People use this site to share their small everyday activities with other people. It lets them post blogs and updates and lets them have their own little profile page. Yes, this site has many similarities with Myspace and Face Book. On myspace you can personalize your own profile and message your friends plus you can post bulletins with surveys or chains on them. Not only that, but you can also post blogs. Yes, I could imagine myself using Twitter, but not very often.

The main reason I think people would use Twitter is if they had contacts in different cities or countries. People can receive information from friends about their personal lives, news, and politics. Twitter, My space, and Face Book all share general information about yourself, but Twitter is more of a continual chat between friends. I don’t see myself using Twitter because of three reasons: I’m not very big on Internet memberships, my friends don’t have Twitter accounts , and I don’t need to communicate where a phone can’t reach. Of all of the profiles, avatars, and share sites I have heard of, Twitter is one of the few i have not heard of. This site could be used to keep in touch with people you know or you want to know. I think that it is similar to myspace and facebook(i have both) because of the updating about thinks in your life, like saying what u r doin' at that moment. Yes this site shares similarities with My Space and Face Book. For example all three sites have updates on you and your friends’ status on how they feel or what they are doing. No I’m not sure that I could imagine myself using Twitter. One reason for this is because I do not fully understand what Twitter is from the video plus; I don’t know anyone that uses Twitter. Also I am happy with just texting, My Space messaging, and instant messaging my friends.

It would be extremely awkward to call someone just to ask what there doing and then hang up. As far as I can tell, this site is extremely similar to the "What are you doing" section of Myspace and Facebook except for the fact that you can only look at the three most recent updates. I could only imagine using Twitter if all of my friends had it. Otherwise, there wouldn't be that many updates.

I guess you would choose to use this site as a way to have a more personal, friendly relationship with people you contact on your phone and computer. Yes, on My Space and Face Book you can get on people’s profiles and send messages or comments to them. Comments you can see but the messages you can’t. So on “Twitter” you would be able to share comments on what you are doing at the present time. I don’t know if I would use “Twitter” or not. Of course I never was sure if I would be allowed to have a My Space and now I do. I just wonder how mush twitter will be used. Why would anyone use this site? well it's a good question with a lot of answers. My personal opinion and answer is that it is a very simple way for people to keep in touch from far away distances. This site also shares similarities with other sites such as myspace and facebook. On myspace you have a status that tells people how you feel or what you are doing which reminds me of twitter. Faceboook is also a website where people keep in touch from long distances which also reminds me of twitter again. I can definitely see myself using twitter in the future because it seems simple and easy. I am always for anything that is simple and can keep me on track with my social life.

Most people have Myspace and Face Book to keep in touch with their friends. I can not see myself using Twitter, because I already have a Myspace to stay connected with all my friends.

Someone would probally use this site to keep in contact with family that had to move away, or someone that they where real close to. I think personally that it shares some what of a similiar thing with Myspace. myspace has a status update and you can see what your friends or family is doing. I have never heard of Twitter until I watched this blog. I am sure people use it. Anything like blogger or email is certainly a hit on the internet. The main reason I think people would use Twitter is if they had contacts in different cities or countries. People can receive information from friends about their personal lives, news, and politics. Twitter, My space, and Face Book all share general information about yourself, but Twitter is more of a continual chat between friends. I don’t see myself using Twitter because of three reasons: I’m not very big on Internet memberships, my friends don’t have Twitter accounts , and I don’t need to communicate where a phone can’t reach.

I have never heard of Twitter before this video. People would like to use this site because it's quick and easy and a way to keep in touch with people. I think people like thsi because you update it alot so you always know what someone is doing. I don't see any similarities with myspace except you post what you are doing. I wouldn't use twitter because more people have myspaces and facebooks and noone I know has Twitter so I wouldn't have any use for it. If more people start using this site I could see myself using it in the future.

Of all of the profiles, avatars, and share sites I have heard of, Twitter is one of the few i have not heard of. This site could be used to keep in touch with people you know or you want to know. I think that it is similar to myspace and facebook(i have both) because of the updating about thinks in your life, like saying what u r doin' at that moment. I think people would like this site if they are on their cell phone more often than the computer. People like my mom would use this site, even though she can't text,I think she would like using Twitter.She documents everything she will do and everything she has done."Twittering" sounds kind of like an on the go AIM. It could also be like commenting or messaging on Myspace, but quicker. I can see myself Twittering when I'm older, maybe college. I have heard of Twitter, but I haven’t used it. I really don’t know a lot about it. I do like to find out new ideas in technology. It seems that there is something new all the time. All of my friends are on My Space. We can comment back and forth. That is sort of like Instant messenger, but everyone can see it. It seems like Twitter has small short messages. They are something like the status box on My Space, the comments are short and sweet describing what a person is usually doing.
On Twitter, I think that the people that look at it, are family and friends. I wonder if everyone can see it? I think I would l like to try this out, just to figure out if I like it or not. It sounds interesting.

I never really have heard of twitter, but it look’s like its cool. I think people would use this site to communicate with friends. It shares a lot of things with myspace like friends and comments and updating your status. I don’t think I would use twitter cause I’m a little to used to myspace.

No I have never heard of “Twitter” before doing this blog. People would use Twitter to learn things about their friends and have small conversations. Yes this site shares similarities with My Space and Face Book. For example all three sites have updates on you and your friends’ status on how they feel or what they are doing. No I’m not sure that I could imagine myself using Twitter. One reason for this is because I do not fully understand what Twitter is from the video plus; I don’t know anyone that uses Twitter. Also I am happy with just texting, My Space messaging, and instant messaging my friends.

It would be extremely awkward to call someone just to ask what there doing and then hang up. As far as I can tell, this site is extremely similar to the "What are you doing" section of Myspace and Facebook except for the fact that you can only look at the three most recent updates. I could only imagine using Twitter if all of my friends had it. Otherwise, there wouldn't be that many updates.

No I have not heard of “Twitter” before this blog. I guess you would choose to use this site as a way to have a more personal, friendly relationship with people you contact on your phone and computer. Yes, on My Space and Face Book you can get on people’s profiles and send messages or comments to them. Comments you can see but the messages you can’t. So on “Twitter” you would be able to share comments on what you are doing at the present time. I don’t know if I would use “Twitter” or not. Of course I never was sure if I would be allowed to have a My Space and now I do. So maybe at sometime in the future if a lot of my friends, I keep in touch with, were using it I would ask permission to also.

I have never in my life heard of twitter I think I will start using that website to talk to people like friends. There are a lot of people who would enjoy that because it is faster than myspace that every kid uses. well almost every kid that is at least 13 does. But I think when people see this website they will like it a lot better. because it is faster and less complicated for me. On myspace you have a status that tells people how you feel or what you are doing which reminds me of twitter.
