Wow. I really liked that video. Some personalities were like Helen Keller, who was blind and deaf. And still managed to acclomplish sooo much. I know about Helen Keller and Walt Disney. Mr. Disney was the creator of Walt Disney amusement park and all of the Walt Disney productions.
Walt Disney contributed with a bunch of movies I like to watch. Plus an awsome amusement park to go to. Michael Jordon is a role model to basketball players everywhere.
The author made this video to show us ordinary people can do extrodinary things.
He wants the veiwer to believe that no matter what happens you can do ANYTHING if you put your mind to it.
Helen Keller learned how to read English, French, German, Greek, and Latin in Braille.

This was a really good video. The music was better than in the past videos.
I believe the author made this video so people would believe in their dreams.
This video, was for the author to show that know matter how little you have, if you have big dreams you can achieve anything.
Every one of these people had to start off with very little or at the bottom, and work their way to the top. I was familiar with several of these people.
The contributions that a few of the people have made has affected my everyday life. A couple examples would be Sam Walton, we go to wal Mart a lot.
Also bill gates, we use Microsoft Windows on a daily basis, just to name a few.
Michael Jordan is the successful person I selected. He is an inspiration to me because of how far he went with his career in basketball. I love basketball and hope to one day make it a career like he did.
An interesting fact about Michael Jordan, that not all people would know is he made more money from Nike yearly than all of the Nike factory workers together.
As in the video si, se puede- yes it can be done.

This video has got to be my favorite so far. This video righthere is letting everyone know that they can do anything they want. It's basically saying that it's not where you come from, it's where you're going. Most people think that just because they dont have the money to get to collage, they won't go. It's not true, the fact is that if you work hard enough through out your years of educating, then you could endup going places you've never thought you'd be. Thebest feeling intheworld is knowing that you've earned something, not just taking it.

After watching this video all I have to say is.....WOW!!!!!! I am familiar with most of the people featured in the video, such as, Albert Einstein, Hellen Keller, and Michael Jordan. J.K. Rowling has made a contriution in my life because without her I probably wouldn't have any of the interesting Harry Potter books that are sitting on my book shelf right now. I believe the author made this video to inform us about certain people and what they have done. I think the author wants us to believe that anything is posible no matter how far out of reach it seems. As a child J.K. Rowling attended a grammar school. But, one bad grade on a routine quiz led her to be seated in the "stupid row". Rowling later said "The teacher seated everyone in the class according to how smart she thought they were;the brightest on her left and everyone she thought was not so samrt sat on her right. Where did Rowling sit you ask? She sat "As far right as you could get without sitting on the playground" Hope you thought that was interesting!!! =-]

This video was very good it showed that just regular old people could do extraordinary things. I’m familiar with most of these people. Their contributions have affected my life because first of all if it weren’t for Bill Gates I wouldn't be doing this type of homework. They have affected me from helping learn and to show that anyone can do anything if you put your time, effort, energy, knowledge, and ECT. Somtimes people help other people with ideas because if wasn't for Bill Gates the apple creator wouldn't of thought of it. The author made this video to show all these rich and famous that did great things but were just ordinary people before. The author wants viewer to believe that anyone can do anything. Walt Disney had his body froze because if anyone could figure out how to bring people to life he wanted to de brought back to life.

The video was very interesting, had music that wasn’t boring, and was educational. I’m a beetles fan so the John Lennon fact was surprising. There were only four or five of the people I didn’t recognize. Without bill Gates that video or this website or even the word computer wouldn’t exist so that has really affected my life. If it wasn’t for Thomas Edison I would be typing by candlelight. Therefore allot of these people have effected my life critically. The author made this video to let you know that people with struggles can make the biggest difference in the world. The author wants us to believe no matter what happens we still have the potential to do anything we can set our minds to. John Lennon was expelled from school for misbehavior at age 5.
This movie was very interesting to me. Some of the people wanted to invent or be different things than what they are really known for right now such as Henry Ford. The personalities of the people were to never give up and to follow through with your dreams no matter what anybody says. I am familar with some of the people in the video such as Bill Gates, Mother Theresa, Henry Ford, and Michael Jordan. Bill Gates has provided the world with the technology that I use everyday. Henry Ford created the method of transportation that is vital to today's culture. The author made this video to show that people like me can change the way we do things everyday. The author wants us to believe that we can do anything if we try to make it happen.
Ray Kroc is the man who led McDonald's to worldwide popularity. He has opened McDonald's restaurants in more than sixty-five countries. In order to make the name easier to pronounce in Japan, he changed it to Makudonaldo. McDonald's now opens about one-third of their new restaurants in foreign markets. Kroc would always make his chauffer drive him to at least six McDonald franchises for surprise check-ups whenever he was traveling.

I loved the video!!!!! This video was really good and even the music was a lot better. I learned a lot of things I didn't know and I learned about some people I didn't know. I was familiar with a lot of the people in the video. Like Michael Jordan, Helen Keller, Bill Gates, Neil Armstrong and Walt Disney just to name a few. Michael Jordan inspired me to play basketball, Bill Gates made Microsoft and I use that a lot, and Helen Keller made me realize that when things are hard you shouldn't give up it should make you try harder. I think that is why the author made this video. The author wants you to believe that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. Helen Keller wrote to eight Presidents of the United States, and received letters from all of them—from Theodore Roosevelt in 1903 to Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965.

Yes I am very familiar with some of them. If it wasn't for J.K. I wouldn't be reading Harry Potter, and loving it. To tell us how you can be an ordinary person and still have extrordanary success. That you can do anything you put your mind to. Her real name is jo.
I realy liked the video. Ithink the auther made the video to show us that an ordenery person cnn do extordinary things. If it wasn't for Henery Ford there wouldn't be Ford's. Also if there wasn't Sam Wallten there wouldn't be a Wall Mart.
I really didn't know that Michael Jordan got cut from a team or that Bill Gates quite school and still invented the internet. That just proves that you can do anything if you just put your mind to it and to never give up on yourself. That ordinary people do incredible things Walt Disney is probaly one of the best people in the world becuase of all the things he invented in his life time and it still go's on today. There is alot of good people in the world everyone should try to accomplish things they never thought were possible. Never give up hope.
I loved that video because it showed that you can do anything when you put your mind to it.And it also shows that you can start from the bottom and climb to the top.A few things that effect us everday and help us is the internet, that Bill Gates created.
Helen Keller is the successful person I select because she was blind and deaf but she learned to read brail in 7 different languages.Like it said in the video it can be done when you put your mind to it.This video is my favorite video so far because it had awesome music and it applys sooo much to everyday life.Cheyenne Shirkey 7th period.
I will use two words to describe this short video, simply amazing. I learned that no matter what happens in life, you can do anything you set your mind to and that is not even close to how this video inspired me. Ray Kroc is probaly my most favorite person in that video next to Micheal Jordan. I think that this encouraging author has made this video to show how important it is to not give up and to always keep trying no matter what kind of condition you are in. Ray Kroc was born in Oak Park, ILL., USA on May 10th 1902 and died in 14-01-1984. I think now with all of the failing kids around the world at least half of them will do something great worldwide.

The Author I think was trying to tell people to follow there dreams and you could achieve it. It doesn't matter if your rich are poor as long as you believe. I was familiar with lots of these people they showed in the video. Bill Gates he invented Microsoft because if he didn't I probably wouldn't be doing this right now. I think the author made this video so we can appreciate in what we have. That we do not have life so tough. Bill Gates he went to Harvard, and now look at him he's one of the richest men in the world. Bill Gates makes $4,ooo per. minute (2.2 billions per. Year).

Wow. This is the best video blog we've had to do so far. I think the video was very informative and I could not have guessed half the things featured in this video.
Most of the things in the video affected my life. Sam Walton, for example, has affected me by giving people somewhere to go that has everything in it. Instead of going to the grocery store to get food, then to the Rite-Aid to get laundry detergent or something else unusual like that that everyone needs, and then somewhere else to get something that I can't get at Rite-Aid, I can go and get it all at Wal-Mart in one stop.( He also gave my dad a job!)
Another invention that has changed my life is Harry Potter. I think that the boooks are very creative and easy to get hooked on. When I read them it is like J.K. Rowling really came up with
her own world, and she is so descriptive that when you read the books, you see what she wrote in your head.
I think the author made this video to inform people about things that they would not have known otherwise.
The author wanted the viewer to believe that everything we do could be the most imprtant thing we ever do in our lives, and, even though it may not seem to be anything important, always follow your heart. I'm not saying you should go and quit college because you have a crazy idea for the next big invention, but J.K. Rowling's story is a good example. She thought that Harry Potter was never going to amount to anything, but she wrote it down anyway.
A funny story about J.K.Rowling is that she wrote her first story at the age of six about a rabbit who gets the measles.

I think that this video is really cool. I have heard of pretty much all of those people in the video except for a few. Well I wouldn't be doing this blog right now if Bill Gates didn't make Microsoft, and there would be no Disney World or any Mickey Mouse shows. I think the author mad this video to show that ordinary people become somebody who did or does extraordinary things in life for them and for the whole world. That any person can become somebody who makes the world better.

After viewing the video the personalities in the video show me that even people that do wrong things and get in trouble for doing something they shouldn't have that they can still be successful at what they put there mind to. Yes, I am familiar with some of these people how I really can't say some I have just heard of. Others I now about pretty well. For example Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world. Their contributions have affected my life by the computer which I use everyday and also science, Albert Einstein. The author made this video to show that anyone can do anything they set there mind to. The author wants the viewer to believe that we could be one of these people one day.Anecdote on J.K. Rowling : While attending a book signing in Boston some time after the publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, J. K. Rowling spotted a line snaking around the block and politely wondered aloud whether there was a "good sale going on." The line, of course, was for her.

When these now millionares were at a younger age, they were just like us today, no fame fortune, they started at nothing but a dream. They completed their dreams in their own ways, by doing it theirselfs. One of my favorite people in this video is J.K. Rolling because she inspires many young writters to work harder. After all, she was on wallfare and very poor when she started writting. Hard work, a dream, and ditermination got her to where she is today. Also, Helen kellar was blind and def, which would make it very hard to learn anything, let alone 7 different languages in brail. The maker of the ipod contributed to my life by giving me mobile music to listen to wherever i go. The author wants to tell us that no matter where u start in life, if you work hard, and have a dream, and try your best, then one day you will acomplish more than you thought you could. A very funny but true thing about helen kellar is that she loved hotdogs. haha. =]

Yes I am familiar with many of the famous people that were in the video.I picked Steve Jobs to research In 1986 Steve Jobs bought The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar) from Lucasfilm's computer graphics division for $10 million, $5 million of which was given to the company as capital. The new company, which was originally based in Point Richmond, California, but has since relocated to Emeryville, California, contracted with Disney to produce a number of computer-animated feature films, which Disney would co-finance and distribute. He is also famous for his I-Pod and his I-Phone.
The author of this video wants everyone to believe that anything is possible. The people in this video all overcame adversity to become famous and successful.

I enjoyed this video. It had better music than the last couple we have watched, and I learned a lot from this video. These people are so inspiring. They did some really good things that helped us get where we are today.
The people in this video were just ordinary people, just like everyone else. They set their mind to something, and accomplished their goals.
There are so many of these people that have changed my life. One example is Thomas Edison. If it weren't for him we wouldn't be able to do this assignment right now! He came up with the light bulb. He had to try, and try again to get it to work. He never gave up despite how frustrating and time consuming it was.
The purpose of this video was to show that if you set your mind to something and go for it, you can achieve anything. These people were no different than you or me, yet they did amazing things. They did it for everyone, not just themselves.
The author wants us to believe that just like these people we need to set goals and don’t give up until we get to them, and keep working toward what you want!
I chose to find something interesting on Michael Jordan because I really like basketball. Michael Jordan got the number 23 by taking his favorite number, 45, and halving it because it was already taken.

I thought this video was a really good one.I think these people did help our lives a lot.I mean there wouldn't be a Wal-mart without Sam Walton.I think the author made this video to prove no matter what someone can acclomplish something in their live rather its just for them or the whole world.I think the author wants me to believe that I will be successful in my life if I try hard enough. The people in the video all made contributions to affect our live like Bill Gates created the Internet and if he didn't we wouldn't be doing this assignment and everyone wants to be like Michael Jordan because he was the best basket ball player ever. Ellen Cellar gives all the blind people someone to look up to because the way she learned how to read brail in 7 different languages. I think the author made this video to show that no matter what ever may set you back that you can still achieve the goals in your life or even greater goals.
I really enjoyed this video. It was one of my favorites.I also thought the music went along well for the moral of the video.
I think the author's main purpose in making this video was to tell people to follow their dreams and not to give up.
The people in the video didn't give up and they suceeded, even though some of them didn't make it all the way through high school.
After watching this video I think the author wants viewers to believe that anything can come true.No matter your age or size.
I selected Neil Armstrong. An enteresting fact about him is that before becoming an astronaut,Neil Armstrong was an aviator for the United States Navy and saw action in the Korean War.
The people in the video were famous, but became famous in very odd ways. Yes, almost all the people in the video. The author of this video is telling us that you can become anything you want, even if you aren't doing well in that subject. Bill Gates gave us the gift of the Internet and Michael Jordan gave kids hope in playing basketball. George Lucas was very close to his grandmother, and she died right after Star Wars came out, and he couldn't go to her funeral because all the Star Wars fans would be crowding him.
I liked the video because I learned that Thomas Edison was kicked out of school for asking too many questions and Michael Jordan did not make his high school basketball team.
The author made this video to show that ordinary people can do anything. Maybe I can do something special in my lifetime.
All the people in this video were ordinary to begin with, but achieved extraordinary accomplishments. I recognized most of the individuals and agree that they have done great things in their lives. Their contributions have affected my life by making life easier with their ideas and inventions. Also, many of the individuals in the video are inspiring because of their achievements. I believe the author made this video because the author wanted to show people that no matter what anyone can achieve greatness just like the people in the video. An interesting anecdote about the great inventor, Thomas Edison is that he was so interested in the Morris Code that he nick-named his two children Dot and Dash.

All of the personalities featured in the video "Oridinary People" started out as ordinary people that ended up doing some outstanding things that made them famous. I was familiar with most of the people in the video. Each of them have contributed many things that have effected our lives tremendously. For example, Bill Gates, he invented the computer. If he had not done so we would not be able to do this assignment or have myspace or even have the ability to communicate with friends or family that live in a different state or country. Also, Helen Keller she taught us to be tolerant of people with handicaps. She also, educated many people that just because one is deaf or blind does not mean they are dumb. Walt Disney another personality featured in the video showed us that imagination is a beautiful thing and that it makes us happy. He taught us all that with just a little imagination every dream can come true. The author tried to show us through the video that we are capable of doing extraordinary things, too. The author hoped to inspire us to do our very best always and that we too can be a part of this group. The famous person I selected from the video is Bill Gates. A funny anectdote about Bill Gates was when he was expecting his second child in 1999. It was rumored by some Microsoft employess that he adopted a nickname for the infant. The nickname he chose was Gates, Version 2.0. There are a lot of unusual facts about Bill Gates, but the one I found to be the most interesting was that if you changed all of his money into one dollar bills you can make a road from the earth to the moon, 14 times back and forth!

Kroc was born to parents of Czech origin in Oak Park, Illinois in 1902 and he trained to become an ambulance driver during the First World War with Walt Disney, though the war ended before Kroc ever saw any action. He was a piano player. Kroc found out how to make a burger stand by seeing one and taking it to be a novel idea. He tried his hand at a number of trades including paper cup salesman and pianist between the end of the war and the early 1950s. He eventually became a Multi-mixer milkshake machine salesman traveling across the country peddling his wares. It was this work which led him to the two brothers, Mac (Maurice) and Dick (Richard) MacDonald, at their innovative San Bernardino, California hamburger restaurant that ran eight multi-mixers at a time. Convinced that he could sell 8 multi-mixers to every new restaurant that opened he partnered with the brothers and began opening McDonald's. Ray Kroc bought the brothers out in 1961 for $2.7 million. He died of a heart ailment at Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego on January 14, 1984. He was famous for buying out McDonald's and turning it into a multi-billion dollar business. His business acumen proved powerful in 1955 when he expanded the business, eventually turning it into what it is today.

All the people mentioned in the documentary were similar in personality. Every individual either grew up very poor, was living in welfare, or just living an average lifestyle. They might not of achieved the goals they were hoping for, but by working at those goals they realized discovered that they enjoyed even more.
I just so happen to be accustomed with many of the beings in the video. I'm mainly familiar with John Lennon, Lance Armstrong, Albert Einstein, J. K. Rowling, Michael Jordan, and Walt Disney.
The contributions that people from video have made have affected my life dramatically. I learned that when you get whatever you want as a child, you will never really achieve much in life. The author, I believe, had a great purpose for making this video. I think that it was made to show the world how many people became what they are today some without the money, some lacking the abilities.
The video "Ordinary People," was produced to make the viewer accept that any ordinary person can accomplish extraordinary things, also that if you put your mind something, it can be achieved.

The video “Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things” shows that people who were and are successful has a story behind their success. We all have been or will be rejected at one time. If we put our minds to it and dedicate ourselves, we can do anything. No matter what people try to hold us back. They are just ordinary people who set their minds and did extraordinary things. I’m familiar with Michael Jordan, Walt Disney, John Lennon, Thomas Edison, J.K. Rowling, Neil Armstrong, Albert Einstein, Debbie Fields, Sam Walton, and Bill Gates. We wouldn’t have Disney World if Walt Disney was never successful. I would never love basketball so much if it wasn’t for Michael Jordan :). Thomas Edison made the light bulbs so we can see easier. Everyone else changed the way we live today. The author wants you to believe it doesn’t matter who you are and what you have gone through, you can achieve your goals. A anecdote about Michael Jordan is during the Bulls' playoff run in 1993, controversy arose when Jordan was seen gambling in Atlantic City the night before a game against the New York Knicks. That in that same year, he admitted to having to cover $57,000 in gambling losses, and author Richard Esquinas wrote a book claiming he had won $1.25 million in gambling money from Jordan on the golf course. That’s crazy is’t it but hey! We are just ordinary peolple whp make mistakes.

My favorite person from this video was J.K. Rowling. I like the books that she writes. Her favorite subjects in school were English and Modern Languages. When would tell stories to her friends about the heroic deeds that they would never do in real like.
Her grandmother's name was Kathleen. Just like mine. When she needed another initial for her name when she was sending her writings to different publishers, she would borrow the initial from her grandmother.
Who knows, maybe I or my friends will become famous and make many contributions to our world.

There are alot of different personalities in this video. They are all interesting in their own way.
I'm familiar with a couple of the people in this video. I'm familiar with Walt Diseny and Helen Keller. I think one way Helen contributed by showing that even though someone is "different" they can still be very successful.
I think the author as tyring to tell the people who watch the video, that when you put your mind to something, and really work at it, and perservere, you can accomplish anything you want. Lots of famous, successful people failed before they became famous.
In December 1999, Keller was listed in Gallup's Most Widely Admired people of the 20th Century.

I really liked this video it tells us how famous people started from nothing and kept working and then become famous. This video teaches us no matter who you are you should never give up. Such as Charles Yeager e fell off a horse and two days later broke a record. The author wants us to believe that no matter what our dreams are they can come true if you never give up. If Bill Gates didn’t quit Harvard we wouldn’t have the computer now. If Albert Einstein just gave up because he didn’t get into the college he wanted he would have never become a famous scientist.
Albert Einstein (1879-1955) [German physicist] Albert Einstein, who
fancied himself as a violinist, was rehearsing a Haydn string quartet.
When he failed for the fourth time to get his entry in the second movement,
the cellist looked up and said, "The problem with you, Albert, is that you
simply can't count."
After the birth of his sister Maja, the two and a half year old Albert
Einstein was told he would now have something to play with. After looking
at the baby he complained "Yes, but where are its wheels".
The video "Ordinary People" was a very interesting video. The first time I heard the title of the video, I didn't understand it, but as soon as the video started, I understood.
This video had a really good point of view that was trying to get across to the viewers. What the videographer was basically saying was that no matter where you came from, or what you've been through or even what people have said to you in the past, you can be who or what you want to be. So many people think that one ut-down can or will determine the outcome of there future, and that is not true at all. If something goes wrong in your life, then you shouldn't feel like it's the end of the world and you can't do anything about it; just think of positive things throughout your life because of course their are going to be barriers in your life, but does that mean that you should just give up, no! You should just forgive and forget so in the future you won't regret.
Walt Disney only started out with $750 and now look at him! And it's basically the same with all the other featurd famous people, he just stood out to me the most.
When you think about it, most likely most of celebs or famous people started out just like me and you, if not worse! So that just goes to show you that no matter what follow your dreams because anyone can be who they want to be as long as you set your mind to it.

This has been my favorite video so far. It is sending us a completely different message compared to the others. I am familiar with many of the people in this video. A lot of the people shown are great role models for teens our age to look up to. Every person in this video has most likely affected my life in many ways. For instance, we might not have light bulbs today if it wasn’t for Thomas Edison. Bill Gates has also affected me by Microsoft. If it wasn’t for him, we might not have this blog.
I think the reason the person made this video is to show people not to get discouraged, and that we can do anything if we believe in our selves. I think that the author wants us to think we can do anything if we really want it after viewing this.
Anecdote:
One day in the early 1960s, John Lennon walked into London's Indica art gallery to visit an exhibition of avant-garde art. Among the exhibits was a fresh apple. Inspired, Lennon impulsively plucked the item from its stand and took a bite. When the artist, who happened to be right there at the time, cried out in anger, Lennon sheepishly grinned and replaced the apple.
Facts:
John Lennon was born to Julia Lennon after 30 hours of labor on October 9,1940.
John was expelled from school for misbehavior at age 5.
John's favorite foods were corn flakes, bread, and vegetarian dishes.
John had a strong affection for cats, at one time owning as many as six of them.
John saw his father for the first time in seventeen years in 1964.

The personalities in the video "Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things", are very different. There are authors, movie producers, car makers, musicians, and many more. Every person is known for doing something outstanding.
I know of almost every person mentioned in this video. I know of Hellen Keller, Thomas Edison, and Michael Jordan the most. I did not know Ray Kroc was the founder of McDonalds.
My life has been affected by many of these exceptional people. I eat at McDonalds often. I have seen the movie about Hellen Keller's life, which makes me admire her for everything she had to deal with. I have been to Disney World which was founded by Walt Disney. My dad has a ford truck. Henry Ford was the auto maker of that vehicle. I have seen Michael Jordan play ball. I have even heard some of John Lennon's music, which I admit I do enjoy.
I feel the author made this video to show people that it does not matter who you are, how much money you have, or if you are disabled-you can do anything you want to do-as long as you try. You must first believe in yourself and be confident before others will believe in you.
I think it is very funny that Michael Jordan was not picked for his high school basketball team the first year he tried out. He is one of the most well known and best basketball players in history. He plays for the pros. He has shoes named after him, and he has been in movies. He is worth millions. I am sure whoever picked the players for the team in high school would of been quit amazed at all his accomplishments on the court and off. One fact people probably dont know about Michael is that he got his nickname "Air Jordan" from his ability to slam dunk a ball from the foul line.

I think that that was really brave of Chuck Yeager to break the speed of sound after breaking three ribs. Albert Einstein, Mother Teresea, Bill Gates were all ordinary people just like you and me. Chuck Yeager broke the speed of sound wich led to the jet and other aircraft that have helped out our country. Albert Einstein invented a lot of very important inventions like the telescope that helped to find out things about outerspace. Mother Teresea helped the church and homeless people childeren. Bill Gates inveted one of the most important computers in the world and the software that goes with that computer, and succded so that he is one of the world's richest people. The author made this video because they wanted to show us middle school students how much we can impact the world just by our homework. The author also made this video because they wated to show that you can be the most ordinary or the one that stands out from everyone else and be the person that is the GENIUS. You just can't let peoples' feelings or attitudes get in the way of your dreamsor dream. The author wants us to belive that we can do anything if we put our set our mind to it. Chuck Yeager broke three ribs and two days later he broke the speed of sound barrier and lived. Chuck Yeager was from West Virgina. Chuck Yeager was an aviator and test pilot, born in Myra, West Virginia, USA. A fighter pilot ace during World War 2.

There is something in each person’s personality in the video that never let theme give up. They persevered through obstacles and other people’s negativity and kept going. The people featured in the video knew if they believed in themselves, anything is possible. If one person put them down, they didn’t make the same mistake again. They kept moving on and even though many difficulties came their way, they kept working toward their goal.
I am familiar with many of the great people mentioned in the video. J.K. Rowling, Mother Teresa, and Bill Gates are three of the many people who have influenced my life. J.K. Rowling provided me and millions of other readers with books that I have spent a lot of time reading, and re-reading. I have been an avid reader since a young age, and the Harry Potter series is an all time favorite of mine. Her pieces of literature will be recognized and enjoyed for many years. She was just an ordinary person, but because of one idea, she is classified as extraordinary.
Mother Teresa is also a very inspirational person. She shows that there are wonderful things in this world and beauty in people. Mother Teresa is a great role model. She never had luxuries or anything more than she needed. If you have everything, you won’t appreciate the little gifts in life. Also the selfless work that she did for the poor and those in needy is uplifting. When I think of Mother Theresa I want to be less materialistic and a more giving and generous person.
Bill Gates has affected all of our lives by inventing Microsoft. Most of us are using his invention daily, to do a variety of things. Bill Gates made it possible for me to do this assignment. My normal day would be completely different if it wasn’t for Microsoft. His idea and work revolutionized the ways computers are used. Also now that he is the riches man in the world he quit his job with Microsoft, so that he can work full time at giving his money away to worthwhile charities.
All the people mentioned in the video made things possible that were never expected of them. The author created this video to show us that everyone is capable of great things, if you believe in yourself. You have to put hard work into whatever it is you want. As long as you keep going and don’t let anything get in your way, your goals can be achieved. The author wants you to know that if you work hard, anything is possible. You can accomplish extraordinary things.

After watching the video I thought about they where once ordinary people who did extraordinary things and became famous in doing so. I am familiar with almost all of them, but I have never heard of Cesar Chavez. I had heard of John Wooden, but never knew what he was famous for. Not all of them have affected me personally, but some have. For example: Steve Jobs created apple and thanks to him I have an ipod (thank you). And especially Walt Disney for making all those movies that not only has affected my life but every little kid that loved his movies. The author made this video to show that you can be a normal person and still do something extraordinary, and putting your mind to things you can accomplish anything. The author wants us to believe that anyone can do something big.

-At young age he had speech difficulties, but was at the top of his class. He later learned Italian and English.
-When Albert was five, his father showed him a pocket compass. Albert realized that something in empty space was moving the needle and later stated that this experience made "a deep and lasting impression".As he grew, Albert built models and mechanical devices for fun, and began to show a talent for mathematics.

I thought the personalities in this video were tremendous! They were very confident in their selves. These people in the video didn't give up when people doubted them the most. They were very strong. I am familiar with John Lennon, Thomas Edison, J.K. Rolling, Neil Armstrong, Albert Einstein, Walt Disney, and Michael Jordan. I have heard of Mother Theresa but I don't know anything about her. John Lennon has great music that I listen to, Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, we're reading one of J.K. Rolling's book in English class, Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon, Albert Einstein said E=MC2, Walt Disney made the Disney productions and lots of children’s movies, and Michael Jordan is a great basketball player. I think the author made this video to show not everyone successes and does great. I think it also was made to say that normal people can end up doing extraordinary things even if others think they're wrong. The author wants us to believe that we could also do something great even though we might feel put down and not right we can still end up being famous. John Lennon was assonated he didn't just die someone killed him right in front of his apartment building by Mark David Chapman. John Lennon's second wife's name is Yoko Ono, she was blamed for breaking up the Beatles.

After looking at this video, I realized that all of these people started out being regular people just like you and I. They had failures, but they became very successful. I am familiar with about 90% of the people in the video. Most of them are somewhat famous or well known. They are people that have changed the world. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. Michael Jordan is a person that indorsed a brand of shoes that many people wear today. Because of Sam Walton we have Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club. These are stores that supply large amounts of whatever you need. I think the author made this video to show that people that started out having rough times can still change the world. The author wants us to believe if you really try, you can do ANYTHING. You have to be determined, and not give up easily, even when you are down. Everyone goes through difficult times.
One person that I have always admired is John Wooden. He is the person in the video that didn’t make the last minute shot in his championship game in high school. Not only was he one of the greatest coaches in college basketball history, but he is in the Hall of Fame for being a Coach and a Player. This is a great honor. He was a tremendous leader as well as a player. He led UCLA to 10 National Championships. This is the highest record in college basketball. The University of Kentucky has 8 championships. Duke and North Carolina are tied for 3rd with 6 championships each.
One interesting fact that most people don’t know is that he has written a book for children called, Inch and Miles. It is a book about his pyramid of success that can help kids by making good decisions. He doesn’t just write about basketball, he writes about how to be successful in life. One thing that describes the video, and it is a quote by him is… “FAILURE TO ACT IS OFTEN THE BIGGEST FAILURE OF ALL”- John Wooden

I'm familiar with many of the poeple in the video. Most have had large impacts on my life such as Bill Gates, Eintstien, Walt Disney, and J.K.Rowling. The video wants to show that even though it may seem unlikely, you can achieve greatness from next to nothing. People went against all odds and created something wonderful that is used by millions. Very few people believe that you can do something awesome without having strong social or political standing, this video proves you don't need either. Helen Keller is a woman I admire greatly. She went against everything and become famous. Something you may or may not have known about her is that she was taught by a blind or at least partially blind woman.

Wow, this video shows a lot to me I had no idea what some successful people had done. Bill Gates not getting his collage degree & became the richest man in the world, & sam walton working at JC Pennys for 45 dollars a month. he became a billanore by finding wal-mart. later on he founded Sams Club. Walt disney founded over 30 motion pitures, & is the cause of over 15 theme parks. Michel Jordan did not make his high school basketball team to go on to win six NBA championships.
I really liked this video alot! I think all the people in the video are inspirations to young people like me. I knew a lot of the people in the video, but I didn't know alot of the facts before watching this video. I thought everything was really intersting! Because of Chareles Yaeger we can now get in an airplane and fly anywhere. Bill Gates is great because he invented Microsoft and alot of the computer software we use. I think the authors purpose of this video is to show that even if you mess up at somepoint you can keep going and achieve something great. It's not like it's the end of the world when you mess up. The authors wants us to believe that you don't have to be perfect or have lots of money or be real smart but that no matter what if you really try you can do anything.

This video was awesome! One of the better ones, music wise, of course.I think this video was very inspirational. The authors purpose was to tell you that no matter what challenges you face, no matter what others think, you can do anything.I have heard of most of these people. It's hard to belive that some of these people started out with little ideas, and turned them into something huge. For example, Kroc who wanted to start a milkshake business, but turned it into McDonalds, one of the most popular fast food resturants. Then there is Walt Disney, who had 750 dollars in a movie business, and is now a household name. His parks are all over the world, and Disney Channel is very popular.Helen Keller is the most inspirational of all.She raised awareness about the blind and deaf and made other people with disabilities realize what they could accomplish. Henry Ford always had his employees best interest in mind. In 1914, Ford raised the minimum wage to $5.00 a day for his employees 22 years of age and older. This rate was more than twice of what most wage earners received.
Ford also reduced the work day from

I didn't know how much thier achievements affected my day-to-day life. With out Bill Gates's XBOX I would have never played Guitar Hero, and without Sam Walton I wouldn't have low prices and rollback prices. What would I do with out Ray Krok's McDonalds.I think the author made the video to let us know that even ordinary people can do exordinary things.I think that the author wanted us to beleive that we can do any thing if we try and do our best. And did you know thatfailed the 4th grade
I think the video was trying to show us that ordinary people can do anything they set their minds to. I don't think it's as easy these days, but if you work for a goal, you can achieve it. I think the videographer wants to instill a sense of awe in the audience at what these people did.
The people I've heard of that were in the video were Helen Keller, Sam Walton, Micheal Jordan, Bill Gates, and Steve Jobs. So I was familiar with most of the people they showcased.

The personalities in this video really showed threw. All the people conquered their hopes and dreams even when people shot them down but they got back up became successful. Also you could see that you can succeed in anything even if even if you don't have the money, have disadvantages like being deft, and if people don't think you're smart enough to do things.
I am familiar with a lot of the people in the video except a few, which I never heard of.
The people in this video made a big contribution to my life by showing me that I can do almost anything as long as I keep trying and never give up. Helen Keller showed me that everything isn't unteachable. Even with all the problems she had, she still learned stuff just like you and me. She actually probably learned more than an average person would learn. Also I like basketball and this showed me that if I don't make the team I can practice and get better and tryout for it next year. Walt Disney started his own cartoon with little money and became very successful. To tell you the truth I loved Mickey Mouse when I was little I still kind of do(just not as much).
I think that the author of this movie was trying to show us that you can do anything you want to do as long you love to do what you're doing and have you're mind set to it. Also even if you don't have the experience or money to do something you can still succeed in it and if you start out with nothing over time can become something.
I think the author wants us to believe we can be anything we want to be. If we want to be an astronaut or a have or our own business or a guy who sells hotdogs or even an astronaut who has a business selling hot dos in space, we can do most likely anything if we believe we can do it.
Did you know that Helen Keller’s family originated in Germany? Hele Keller was not born blind and deft, it all started when she nineteen months. The doctors guessed it was caused from scarlet fever or meningitis. Keller also became a famous speaker and author.

When I first watched the video, I couldn’t believe that all of those personalities had faced such difficult challenges. One of the only people from that video that I was familiar with was Helen Keller. The reason I knew a little about her was because almost every year in the past, my class has got to watch the movie based on her life or we had to do a report on her.
Many of those personalities have effected my life. One of the major ones would most likely be Neil Armstrong. I would say that because if it wasn’t for his most famous trip to the moon, who knows where we would be today space-travel wise.
I think the author of this video was trying to get the point across that, no matter how many set backs you may face, you should never stop trying to reach your dream. I think the author was trying to make us believe that everyday people have made a difference even though they weren’t successful at their first attempt.
The person I chose to share a couple facts about is Ray Kroc, “the McDonalds guy”.

I think that it is amzing how so many of these spectacular figures in our life started off with nothing and look where they are now. When you look at it how could Albert Einstein be rejected on a job, or how Bill Gates, of all people, dropped out of college.Their contributions affect our lives by making things more popular or better than they were before. I believe the author made this video to show that even though your not an amazing athlete, or wonderful computer designer you can still do whatever you set yourself towards in life. It efected my life because if it wasn't for Walt Disney I wouldn't of got to have so much fun in Florida. If it wasn't for Bill Gates we woundn't have so much technology. The author mde this video to show if you try very hard at something then you can do anything. The author wants everybody to know that nybody can do anything if they want to. Something interesting about Micheal Jordon was the reason why he picked the number 23 is because he wanted 45 but someone already took it so he halved 45 which is 22.5. So he rounded it up to 23 and stuck with it the rest of his life.

I decided to do my anecdote on a person whom I hadn't heard about until I saw this video. I picked Steve Jobs because he is the CEO of Apple, and our generation has a lot to do with technology, and we are trying to use technology more in our everyday lives.
Steve Jobs was put up for adoption a week after he was born. His biological mother was American, and his biological father was Syrian. At the time, his parents were not married, but later on after he was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, his biological parents did get married, and they had another child, Steve's sister. Steve did not meet his sister, Mona Simpson (a novelist) until they were adults.
Normal people doing extraordinary things all by will power. Look at their success can you imagine life without the internet. I can not at all. Look at Michael Jordan he didn’t make the cut for his high school team. I’m a Beatles fan so it’s hard think about the Beatles without Lennon ,that is just scary. You see anyone can be successful but you have to believe in your self because if you don’t know one else will. I believe the point of this video is to tell you if you believe in yourself you can accomplish almost anything but you have to believe in yourself and your will to achieve.
After viewing this video, I have learned many things about some of these people that I never would've guessed about them!
I'm not familiar with some of them but the ones I am the most familiar with are: Neil Armstrong, Michael Jordan, Albert Einstein, J.K. Rolling, Mother Theresa, John Lennon, Bill Gates, and Helen Keller.
One of the biggest things that has affected my life is being able to do my school work on the computer! I utilize this equiptment everyday. Some of these people have changed our lives so much that we probably wouldn't know where to start.
I think the author made this video for us to actually open our eyes and see that it's not "all good" in life and that there's no such thing as perfect! We all need to see how these people have changed our lives and opened up a whole new world for all of us.
I think the author wants to inform us not only how our lives have been affected but anyone who puts their mind to anything they want y can acheive it even if their starting out with nothing.
The successful person I chose from this video is Walter Elias Disney.
Disney is notable as one of the most influential and innovative figures in the field of entertainment during the twentieth century.
Fact:
Walt Disney was a polo player and a member of the Riviera Polo Club.
Anecdote:
He touched our lives whether we lived in big cities like Philadelphia, Pennsvlvania, or stick towns like Corbett, Oregon. He showed us that we really do live in "a small world after all" and even now, more than thirty years after his death, we still cling to Walt Disney and his ideals. He continues to serve as a source of joy and inspiration to the child in all of us.

The personalities differed very much among the people in the video. Helen Keller was blind and deaf and she learned braile in seven languages. Bill Gates stole the idea of the Microsoft Free drive of of a man who invented it first. All Bill did was Switch the C: and A: drive around. Their contributions have affected history but not my life that much. The author made this video because they wanted to show how ordinary people did amazing things, and you can do the same. The author wanted you to believe you could do the same things(well not actually the SAME things). Albert Einstein Couldnt tie his shoes until he was thirteen. He also was a c student in math, yet he became a mathimatician/theorist.
I thought this was one of the better videos so far. I was familiar with most of the people but I did not know some of the things they did. Like I didn’t know Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard to create Microsoft. I also didn’t know that Michael Jordan didn’t make the high school basketball team. A few of the people have affected my life. For instance like Bill Gates, if he hadn’t created Microsoft I wouldn’t have been typing this right now. Thomas Edison, without him I would probably be just sitting around by candlelight right now. I read the Harry Potter series with my dad when I was little, without J.K.Rowling I wouldn’t have read that. Henry Ford invented cars so without him we would probably be riding around on horses and carriages. Without Steve Jobs we wouldn’t have ipods or anything. So all of these people have Affected me in different ways. I think the author made this video to show us that ordinary people can succeed if they put their mind to it, even if they do fail a first time.

Wow! I really loved that video. I respect every single one of those people a great deal. I'm familiar with all of the people in the video. So many of them have affected my life and everybody else's. I wouldn't even be typing this right now if it weren't for Bill Gates. The author made this video to remind everyone how amazing these people are. The author wants you to believe in yourself and believe that you can do anything if you really want it bad enough. Bill Gates is known for being the richest and in the world and a cofounder of the Microsoft company. This video really inspired me, and reminded me to believe in myself.
After viewing the video” Ordinary People” the personalities in this video were very inspirational. These people never gave up, and even heard negative comments about there dream that they were trying to accomplish, they still went on. The hard work paid off and they are now famous legions! I have been in situations just like some I quit but most I fully accomplished my goal. Such as I wanted to play soccer, and now I am doing it and getting better and better everyday. Also I thought I wasn’t going to do very well in advanced math this year, but I am actually doing quite well. I think the author of this video made it because he wanted to inspire us to do great things, and believe that we can do anything we put our mind to. Maybe someday we can become famous, and people can think of what I did was amazing just like I think of famous legions. I chose Ray Kroc the founder of McDonalds, my fact is that Ronald McDonald speaks 25 different languages.

The personalities in the video are very courageous and determined, they were put down and told they couldn’t do something and then ended up being famous for doing it. I am familiar with many of these people but I liked Helen Keller the most. She learned many different languages and if that’s not enough she learned it in Braille. All of the contributions these people have made for us have furthered our education and has let us grow and expand our knowledge of technology. The author wants us to believe that anything is possible if you believe it is and if you never give up, you can reach your goal no matter what anybody else thinks. A person I thought was interesting was after World War II, Albert Einstein was a leading figure in the World Government Movement. He was offered a presidency of the state of Israel, which he declined, and he collaborated with Dr. Chaim Wiezmann in establishing the Hebrew university of Jerusalem.
There were many famous people in this video that have changed our lives. I knew most of these people, but there were a few that I didn’t know. Because of these great men and women, our world has changed. They were all very brave by taking chances with their lives and careers. Because of Sam Walton we all have less expensive merchandise to buy. We also have large places to shop like Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart. Neil Armstrong encouraged other astronauts to explore and take more chances. Walking on the moon would have been exciting and scary all at the same time. I feel that the author chose to make this video so that we would appreciate the famous people that have made all these inventions possible. The author of this video would like everyone to think that they could do anything if they set their mind to it. Many people could fail when they try new things, but you have to practice and be determined to win in the end.
I have liked watching Michael Jordan my whole life. I have personally seen him play during a game when he was playing for the Washington Wizards. He was an amazing athlete! Like the video said, he didn’t even make it on his high school basketball team. Later in life he went on to play for the NBA. He won many NBA championships, as well as other awards. His highest scoring game was 69 points. In a play-off game he scored 72 points. That is outstanding! An unusual anecdote that many people don’t know about Michael Jordan is that he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine 49 times. He is also an Olympic Gold Medalist two times. He was a member of the famous “Dream Team.” He had 886 double figure games. He is probably the most famous basketball player of all time. People like Michael Jordan and others on this video have influenced us so that we will take chances and be what we want to be.

This video showed us that people who were once just like us are now famous for doing extraordinary things. I knew about Helen Keller [a little bit] but the rest, I basically knew nothing about. Without some of these people we wouldn't have a weekly trip to the Wal-Mart or the quick stop McDonald's. I think the author made this video to show that anything can be done if you set your mind to it. After viewing this video, viewers might think twice about something that they said was "impossible".
I learned in social studies that Michael Jordan is the highest paid geographer in the world. And on top of that, he is a well-known basketball player.
After seeing this video, I have my own motto; "one word: believe".

I was familiar with all of the people shown in the video except for Cesar Chavez and Debbie Fields. It is incredible how far these people have came and what they accomplished in their lives. Some of their contributions affect my life in many ways. I use a computer which has Microsoft programs on it. I go to Wal-Mart to get lots of things. Michael Jordan is one of the greatest basketball players ever and a person that is a great role model for people to look up to. Henry Ford invented the first car, so I am thankful that he did that instead of becoming a watchmaker because he “paved the way” for transportation. Ray Kroc has affected my life because without him there would be no McDonald’s; I eat breakfast there before school. The author made this video to show people that they can do anything they want and to never give up on their dreams. The author wants the viewers to believe that even regular people can become very successful and that they are just following their own dreams.
Interesting Fact: A close collaborator of Henry Ford during World War II reported that Henry, at the time being more than 80 years old, was shown a movie of the Nazi concentration camps. He was not able to cope with what he saw and had a heart attack.
I'm familiar with John Lennon because my sister and I love the Beatles.
The author made this video to show even celebrities were normal at one point in their lives. Anyone can do anything you just have to go with it.
Follow your dreams dont look back and keep moving forward.
John Lennon
John Lennon was named after his grandfather.lennon lived with his Auntie Mimi who never thought he would make it playing guitar and singing.Lennon's Auntie never wanted children but she admitted she always wanted John."Lennon said that he'd always been very macho and had never questioned his chauvinistic attitudes towards women until he met Ono."-Wikipedia
Lennon was distant with his first son but was very close with his second.
This video taught me the sheer importance of hard work and determination. Many of the individuals mentioned in the video have affected every one of our lives as a civilian. Some of those people are Bill Gates, Thomas Edison, Chuck Yeager, and Henry Ford. I cannot help but wonder what our everyday lives would be like had they not made a successful live out of what they were given. Had it not been for Bill Gates creating Microsoft I would not be typing this right now. If Henry Ford had made a career out of building watches as he intended to, we would be walking to school every morning. This video was very inspirational to me and it showed me that I could do anything if I put my mind to it.

This video was AWESOME!!!!!!! I know some of the people in the clip. I think the purpose of making this video was to show that everyone in "normal". Even the most wonderful poeple made mistakes to get where they are now.
Albert Einstein was dixlexic. He was one of the greatest inventors of his time. A quote by Albert is "Success is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration"
I think this is the best video so far. It was really interesting. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

I really liked this video because it is directed toward the world’s younger population. It shows us that even though we are ordinary people we can do amazing things…things that could change the way that we live. Thomas Edison, for example, invented the light bulb. Can you imagine life without artificial light? What would we do in the winter?
Most of the people described in this video are commonly known, and I am familiar with them. However, I didn’t realize obstacles they had to overcome to get where they are now.
Ray Kroc is definitely one of my heroes. I think I might die if McDonalds stopped selling milkshakes. Also, if it wasn’t for Sam Walton I would probably starve because that’s one of the few places my mom gets groceries.
This video has really inspired me because it proves that ordinary people are doing amazing things every day and you have to go after your dreams. Never let anyone tell you that you “can’t” do what you love as a career.
Anecdote: John Lennon and Yoko Ono once had themselves sewn inside a "bag" (made from white bed sheets) and crouched silently on a low table in a hotel in Vienna. When reporters refused to believe that the musicians were actually inside, Ono began to sing a Japanese folk song.
Fact: McDonalds opens a new restaurant every four hours.

The people in this video had perserverance and skills. Michael Jordan has given many children someone to look up to, and Albert Einstein came up with the theory of reletivity[E=mc sq.]. The author made this video to encourage people no matter how much you've messed up your life, you can still get the best of it by perservering.
Lucky Jordan?
Michael Jordan once spent nine hours at a blackjack table in a Las Vegas casino. Luckily, Jordan went on a $1.7 million dollar run. Less luckily, he had already lost so much money that he left the casino in the hole.
This video sends a message to me saying that u don't have to be perfect and even if you make a mistake in your life or something goes wrong its not the end of the world. The people in the video believed in what they wanted and they went for it and tried to achieve there life goals. I think the author made this video to send a message saying never give up even if something goes the complete opposite of what you wanted.

Wow I really liked this video. It has a lot of interesting stuff. I didn't know Bill Gates dropped out of college. I think this authors purpose was to incourage people to do more things, like go with what you think is right. Another one is that anyone can do something amazing if they try. An interesting fact about Bill Gates is that when he walks into a room on his house the pictures in that room change as to his mood. Here is another one, did you know even though Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world his house still doesn't cost as much as Donald Trumps. I can't beleive he dropped out of Harvard, one of the best colleges to become a CEO of Microsoft. I use Microsoft everday. I don't know what I'd do without it.

I feel this video was very inspirational. It shows kids that if you try hard you can do anything you want to do.
Every thing on this video plays a roll big or small in a normal day for me. For example; Bill Gates the creator of Microsoft, I am on the computer throughout the day so it plays a big role in my life.
Did you know that Bill Gates was a huge geek that had no friends? But look at him now.

All of the people mentioned in this video, were all just ordinary people that accomplished extrodinary things. Many of them didn't turn out to do what they first wanted to do, but by first doing what they did, it turned into something even greater.
I was familiar with many people in this video. For example, John Lennon, Thomas Edison, J.K Rowling, Neil Armstrong, Henry Ford, Albert Einstein, Walt Disney, Danica Patrick, Bill Gates, Micheal Jordan, and Mother Theresa.
Their contributions have affected my life in many ways. For example, when i have a huge craving for McDonalds, I thank Ray Kroc, and when I want to take ride in my step-fathers mustang, i thank Henry Ford. If is wasn't for many of these people, my life, or even the world, wouldn't have been the way it is today.
I think the author made this video to show the world how many people became what they did. Many of them started off with the idea that they were going to in the buisness of something that they didnt know that they would become later on.
I believe that the author wants the viewer to believe that you can become anyhting that you want to be. Also, that anyone can invent or create something extrodinary if they put their mind to it!
Anecdote:
Micheal Jordan forst retired on October 6, 1993, but on March 18, 1995, Micheal announced his return to the NBA with just two words, "I'm back."
Fact:
Nike created a shoe for Micheal, and they called it the Air Jordan.

I was familiar with about 3/4 of the people featured in this video, and most of them have had a major impact on my life. The author who made this video hade a good reason to make it. This was to show people that anybody can do something important. These people started out and continue to be regular people. The author wants you to believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I am a big beatles fan so I wanted to right about John Lennon.
Anecdote:John Lennon: MBE
One day in 1969, John Lennon had his chauffeur deliver his MBE [Member of the British Empire] to Buckingham Palace with an accompanying letter to Queen Elizabeth:
"I am returning this MBE," it read, "in protest against Britain's involvement in the Nigeria-Biafra thing, against our support of America in Vietnam, and against 'Cold Turkey' slipping down the charts. With love, John Lennon of Bag."
Fact:His first girlfriend was named Thelma Pickles, and his mom died shortly after being hit by a car.

Wow! I was amased that Dewight D. Isenhower was denighed access to Annapolis Naval Academy. They probably would have let him in to the academy if they knew he would be the future president of the U.S..
I'm amased that Hellen Keller was able to learn brail in 3 different languages and she was deaf and blind. I couldn't learn brail in english and I can sea and hear. I didn't even know there were 3 different languages in brail.
I also can't beleive that Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard of all places and made the multi-million dollar company of Microsoft. Now he's the second richest man in the world.

Tjis video was pretty cool. That song is so old but it is still good.
I didn't nknow any of the facts except for the Michael Jordan fact.
The people in this video had dreams of there own but success came to them though something else.
All of the people's contributions help our everyday life now, like Henery Ford help us get around faster.I think the author made this video just to tell us that we can do anything if we set our minds to it.The author wants us to belive that we can do anything.
I picked Danica Patrick because she set her mind to something and went through with it.Danica Patrick placed fourth in the 2005 running of the Indianapolis 500, making her the top-finishing woman ever at the famous auto race. It was Patrick's first Indy 500 appearance and she was named the race's rookie of the year. Patrick began driving karts at age 10, then jumped up to the Formula Vauxhall Winter Series in England in 1998, when she was just 16. By 2002 she had signed a contract with Team Rahal. Her Indy 500 debut, combined with her youth, good looks, and the general paucity of women drivers in auto racing, made her a hit with fans and a sudden media favorite. Patrick is also the first woman ever to lead a lap at the Indy 500; driving for the Rahal Letterman team, she led for 19 laps of the 2005 race. She won rookie of the year that year and finished 12th in circuit points. With high hopes pinned on her for the 2006 season, she finished 9th for the year but failed to win a big race. She jumped from Rahal Letterman Racing in 2007 to join Andretti Green Racing. The most unusual fact about her is that she didn't learn ow to ride a bike till she was 13.
