World War II

What is genocide? What is prejudice? How did Hitler get so much power? Why didn't German people fight his power? Why did it take the United States so long to enter this war? What does World War II have to do with the civil rights movement in the United States?

Genocide is a systematic destruction of a racial, ethnic, religousand national group. Prejudice is prejudgement of opinions before coming aware of the relavant facts of a case. He was one of the most persuasive public speakers. People did not fight his power because he was persuasive. It gave african americans an oppurtunity to get out of rural poverty. It had people who said I do not this war to happen. It split up into people who wanted the war and people who did not want the war.

Genocide is the systematic destruction or a part of a racial, ethnic, religious or national group. Prejudice is prejudgment, or forming an option before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case. According to Anonymous from answers.yahoo.com, Hitler used the power of persuasion followed by fear. Another person from this website, also named Anonymous, stated that Hitler was a dictator, and people were afraid of him. The United States, in 1939, only had an army of 175,000 and were spread all over, including the Philippines and Hawaii. In World War II, the United States military was segregated, therefore blacks couldn't join the military. This caused the Civil Rights Movement twenty years later.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic, group, or nation. Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Hitler's rise to power started once he was released from prison, he decided to seize power constitutionally rather than by force of arms. Using demagogic oratory, Hitler spoke to scores of mass audiences, calling for the German people to resist the yoke of Jews and communists, and to create a new empire which would rule the world for 1000 years. He also gained power from Nazi supporters, attitude of workers, and attitude of big business. He boosted personal power by organizing strong-arm squads. German people didn't do anything about it because of weakness in the constitution crippled the government, and there were many people in Germany who wanted a return to dictatorship. When the crisis came in 1929-1933 there was no one who was prepared or able to fight to stop Hitler. It took the United States so long to enter this war because America was in the middle of a Great Depression and they also had a small military. After the war a movement for the expansion of civil rights had been born.

A genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. A prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Hitler became powerful because of fear. I believe that if you have enough courage and people behind you, you can do anything. This is exactly why I think he rose to power. People thought of him as powerful, when in reality he was just a mean and cruel man. The United States had a treaty with Germany that stated that the United States could not do anything against the Nazis unless they acted first upon the US. Once the Japanese, in cooperation with the Nazis, bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, the US long with France, Canada, and Great Britain could finally fight back. In World War II blacks were not allowed to join the US military, which is also known as segregation. This started the Civil Rights Movement where blacks fought for their freedom just as the Jews wished they could have done.

The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines genocide as “the deliberate and systematic destruction of a political, racial, or cultural group.” Yikes. Nothing “shiny” about that.
Prejudice is mostly like discrimination.
Hitler got so much power because, for some reason, the German people did not care about politics, and blindly elected him. The USA took so long to enter WW2 because we were still smarting from the Great Depression: an event that caused dictators like Hitler to rise in the first place. We were provoked after the vicious attack on Pearl Harbor to fight against the rising Nazi threat. WW2 slightly helped the civil rights movement because Black soldiers fought alongside White soldiers, and the absence of alot of White men allowed Negro League Baseball (The MLB) to rise: the most notable case being the infamous Jackie Robinson.

Racism in any form or way is wrong and hurtful. Genocide is the killing of a large group, especially those who are apart of a particular ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is when someone has an opinion upon something that is not based on reason or actual experience. This has to do with one particular person, who was simply against anything he did not like. Hitler got so much power because the people were scared of him, and at first the people did not know what was going on. The German people did not fight his power because of the strong power he had. It took the United States so long to enter this war because at first they thought they had nothing to do with it. They thought this until their Pearl Harbor was bombed. This brought the United States into it, and they never got out. Until the Civil Rights Movement. How has racism affected us today? I know we think not, but is racism still in place today?

What do genocide and prejudice mean? Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is an opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. An example would be Hitler. He killed people just because he didn't like their religion, where they were from, or race. Hitler got so much power because he was a threat and very scary. He killed many innocent souls. The Germans did not fight his power because it was simply too strong. It took the U.S so long to enter this war because it had nothing to do with our country. World War ll and the Civil Rights Movement both deal with the judgement of a skin color.

Prejudice is an opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Adolf Hitler led Germany throughout World War two. He got so much power because he threatened people, and many people were terrified by him. Germany did not fight Hitler because he had too much power for them to handle. Hitler killed many people for no reason, many innocent people died because of him. It took the United States so long to enter the war because they didn't know how to react. During World War two the United States military was segregated, blacks were not allowed to join the army. This eventually lead to the Civil Rights Movement were blacks fought for their freedom.

Prejudice-harm or injury that results or may result from some action or judgment Hilter got is power because Hitler used the power of persuasion followed by fear. The Germans didn't fight this war because it was to strong for them too. It took the U.S so long to enter the war because it didn't have anything to do with us until they bombed Pearl Harbor.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is an option not base on reason or actual experience. These things is what Adolfo Hitler did. He grow in power because of fear. I mean people that don't have hope are easy to over come. Also you have people supporting you and the Nazi army. The U.S didn't get involved because it's on the other side of the world and also we had a treaty with them. Well until Japan joined the Nazi army and bombed Peal Harber, Hawii. Thus we joined the Alliance to stop Hitler. Since the U.S didn't let blacks join because of segregation. This started the Civil Right Movement.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Hitler gained power through becoming the leader of a certain political party in Germany. He then created the Nazis as a political party which then controlled Germany and many other countries. The Germans didn't fight him because if they did, his forces would kill them. From what I understand, the States were simply minding their own business until Hawaii was bombed. After that, they were involved. WW2 lead to the Civil Rights Movement because the military that was in WW2 was segregated, which led to the Civil Rights movement later in time.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. Prejudice is an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason. Hitler was a powerful and spellbinding speaker who attacked a wide following of Germans desperate for change. He promised the disenchanted a better life and a new and glorious Germany. The nazis appeared especially to the unemployed, young people, and members of the lower middle class (small store owners, office employers, craftsmen, and farmers). Germans didn't fight against hitlers power because they where scared and he was so persuasive. In world war ll the United States military was segregated, therefore blacks couldn't join the military.

Genocide is deliberate killing of a large group of people. Prejudge is a preconceived opinion that is not based on a reason or actual experience. Hitler had so much power from killing millions of people. The German people didn’t fight for their power because they knew they wouldn’t win by themselves. The United States took so long to enter this war because they didn’t have any reason until Japan bombed us being ally’s with the counties Hitler was running. World War II has to do with the civil rights movement in the United States because what Hitler did made them realize someone else could that the same thing he did but kill them for race so they made events for their freedom and equality.

A genocide is the killing of many people. The Nazis did a genocide when he killed the Jews, homosexuals, and people with disabilities. Prejudice is a prejudgement of opinions before coming aware of the real situation. Hitler became so powerful because he made allies with the other countries. So he took over the countries he made allies with. German people didn't fight with his power because they were part of the army so they were forced into the invasions. It took the Americans so long to enter this war because they traveled by sea and ship. The World War 2 have to do with the Civil Rights movement in the United States because the Civil Rights gave equality to the whites and African Americans. World War 2 gave Jews and everyone else equality to the Nazis.

Genocide means to kill multiple people, who are specifically of a single, race, ethnic group, etc. Prejudice is disliked or unjust behavior deriving from unfounded opinions of others. The way Hitler had gotten so much power is that he not only had a high rank already, but he quickly began controlling nearby countries and allied with the Japanese. Many Germans didn't fight this power because many were actually in favor of this already or were swayed by Hitler. The US wasn't involved yet because they didn't have a reason to fight yet until Hitler's army began to attack there, pulling the US into the war. The civil rights movement was caused by this is because African Americans were one of Hitler's targets, and this racism carried over to the US for differing reasons.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. Prejudice is an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason. Adolf Hitler gained power with his speeches. They motivated people because they were very persuasive. I think that Germans were afraid of Hitler, which caused them to keep their opinions to themselves. People may have feared the consequences of standing up to Hitler. At first, World War II did not involve us, which was why we did nothing. We joined the fight after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. The civil rights movement started after the war. Many African Americans fought in the war, and they wanted the same respect as the white soldiers were shown.

Genocide is the mass homicide of one specific trait, carried out by murdering those who are in possession of this trait. The trait may not be genetic inherently- such as race-but can be also dependent largely upon whom you were raised by- like ethnic group, religion, or nationality.

Prejudice is just that. Pre- referring to before or early, -jud- symbolizing judging or judgement, and -ice meaning quality or state of. State of early judgement. Making a notion truthful in your own mind before you truly know anything about that topic or person. Unreasonable assumption.

Hitler was a very persuasive speaker, and that is how he rose to power. He charmed his way up through ranks and made so much sense is his speeches that people didn't even question his motives or what was happening, and didn't realize they were being blinded.

The United States basically figured that since it wasn't happening on their soil, it was happening in Europe, that it wasn't their problem. The only reason they entered the war at all was because suddenly it WAS on their soil when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, killing thousands.

I believe that this started the Civil Rights Movement because the Blacks in this country had seen what had happened to the Jews and knew that they could be next, and never wanted that to happen to them, so they rose up and fought before it was too late and they were forced to either run and hide or die just like the Jews.

Genicide is the act of aiming to kill off a species or race. Prejiduce is hateing someone or a group for what they beilieve in. Hitler to power like a dictator, by force. The German people most likely thought if they fought against Hitler they would loose. America was busy getting ready to fight to the west. The Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor. The civil rights movement was for everyone to be treated equal. Hitler was doing exactly oppasite from that he thought blue eyes and blond hair was the dominate race.

Genocide is the killing of a large group of people, especially those of a certain ethnic group or country. Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on a reason or actual experience. Hitler gained all of his power out of fear and he was very cruel. The Germans didn't fight because they were afraid of him and didn't want o be sent to a concentration/death camp. The United States didn't get involved until later because it wasn't happening near us. We decided it wasn't our business and didn't want anything to do with it. World War 2 has to deal with the fact that the military was segregated and black people couldn't join. Due to that the Civil Rights Movement started in 1955.

Prejudice is an adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts. Adolf Hitler got so much power due to his persuasion and manipulation skills. If you could say something and convince someone it could be achieved, people will join. He used fear as a way to force people as well. One of the most powerful emotion is fear, it doesn't just go away immediately. You can control with it. The reason the United States weren't so involved because their military wasn't exactly the strongest. They didn't want to get so involves since the situation wasn't near them. They only joined when the Japanese dropped the bomb on Pearl Harbor. In that time, the military was segregated. I believe this, the Civil Rights Movement began.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic, group, or nation. Hitler gained so much power because he was a very charismatic speaker. He was very persuading to those who agreed with him. Some of the Germans were probably scared of what he would do. He was a mastermind, and terrified hundreds and thousands. The reason it took so long for the United States to join World War 1 was because we thought we were safe enough because it was happening in Europe. This was until the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. During this war black people and women weren't aloud to participate in it, so that's what brought up the Civil Rights.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a racial group. Hitler was known as one of the best leaders to ever live. Although he had no good intentions and had his mind set on the killing of innocent people, he brought up such a strong army and basically ruled the world at a point in time. That changed the world and its history because the world had to adjust to the a horrifying events that were occurring. It took such a long time for the Americans to take over the Germans because they had to plan. They cant just come into the establishment and start fighting. They have to see what they can work with and see there weaknesses so they can go in a take over. My guess is that they had to wait for the perfect time. But just in a day, lots of lives were took away and maybe if they were a little faster there would not be as much deaths including Anne Franks.

Genicide means violent crimes committed against groups with the intent to destroy the existence of the group. The Halocaust was also a prejudice situation. Prejuduce means to hold a grudge against a certain race or religion and treat them different. Hitler got his power through an extremeist group of people that believed that jewish people were to be blamed of the loss of WW1. Although the Nazis were not just a group of people. There were thousands upon thousands of people in the Nazi party. The Germans couldn't do anything against him either. They would just get killed or sent to concentration camp just like the jews. No one could help and there was no hope, until the bombing of pearl harbor. The USA got in WW2 because Japan bombed pearl harbor for Hitler. THe USA gathered other armies and invaded country by country to stop the maddness. They came out the victors although they both went down in history. Hitler as the worst dictator of all time, and the USA as the heros of WW2.

Genocide the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially if from the same ethnic group or nation. Here are some of the reasons Hitler rose to power, some of the Germans were intimidated by his style,Hitler was a great speaker, The moderate political parties would not work together, depression of 1929 created poverty and unemployment, which made people angry with the Weimar government. People lost confidence in the democratic system and turned towards the extremist political parties such as the Communists and Nazis during the depression. We didn't get involved with world war II until Asia bombed pearl harbor then we decided to get involved because it concerned our country . It created opportunity for black people to get out the cycle of poverty. The reason people did not fight Hitler is simply hatred, anger they wanted people to suffer but by the time they realized what they let happen Hitler to many followers to retaliate. prejudice means preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. And an additional fact Hitler was actually Jewish himself. Under nazi rule all other political parties were banned . That is it for this blog

Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Hitler's rise to power began in Germany in September 1919. Hitler became involved with the nazi party after World War I. Hitler gained 280,000 votes to become leader. He became extremely violent in Germany. He was killing innocent bystanders in the streets. Since he had ther Nazis on his side, the people were not going to fight back because they were scared of the army he had. They just went along with everything he said. The Americans took so long to join because we were not involved until the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Hitler's ally from Japan came and bombed us so this meant we obviously had to join the war. The war showed that we cared for our country and the black people wanted to prove it by going into the war. They thought they would earn respect by doing this.

The deliberate killing of a large group of people in which the group is usually a particular ethnic or nation is genocide. A person who uses prejudgment or forms an opinion that isn't based on a reason is prejudice. After WWI, the Treaty of Versailles took Germany's colonies away and gave 3 billion dollars to France and Britain. This had made the Germans suffer economically. Unemployment rates grew, the navy and army itself was incredibly small and the German Mark grew smaller also. Hitler, who was against the Treaty to begin with, promised that he could help restore the country and get revenge on the "allies". He also persuaded the Germans to believe that it was the Treaty's fault for their suffering. Eventually, Hitler and the Nazis became popular throughout Germany. Soon, Hitler saved the economy, built a massive army and took over neighboring countries. None of the Germans fought back against Hitler because some of them feared him and many others believed that he was making the country grow stronger and bigger. America took a while to join WWII because we were facing many of our own problems, such as the Great Depression and we had a small military. During WWII, the US had sent EVERY man eligible to go into war. This let many African Americans leave all of the poverty from the Depression and work together with the whites but even after the war, blacks still didn't have any freedom and were still segregated. Many would've thought that having blacks in the war would change the laws on segregation.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is a baseless and usually negative attitude toward members of a group. Hitler gained power in his political party by being a good speaker who was convincing, and by bullying people into doing what he wanted them to do. The German people didn't fight his power because they were intimidated by him. The United States didn't enter the war until later, because we were profiting from it by selling weapons to both sides. The US also felt that this was a European war that wasn't our concern. When Blacks joined the military, the armed forces were segregated like everything else. This was a factor in the Civil Rights movement which occurred several years later.

Genocide is when you kill several people throughout a period of time. it is usually used to describe the Holocaust. Prejudice is when someone judges you because you have a different religious beliefs or a different skin color, basically being judged by physical traits. I think the reason why the Germans didn't rebel is because they were scared of being killed or of their family being killed. The US didn't step in sooner was because they didn't attack us before Pearl Harbor.

Merriam-Webster defines genocide as the deliberate and systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group. Hitler’s final solution was to murders all Jews. Merriam- Webster defines prejudice as an unfair feeling of dislike for a person or group because of race, sex, religion, etc. The reason it took the USA so long to enter the war is because we tried our best to stay away from the war. The USA at the time viewed this as a European conflict. That all changed with the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. In the early 1930s, the mood in Germany was grim. The worldwide economic depression had hit the country especially hard, and millions of people were out of work. Still fresh in the minds of many was Germany's humiliating defeat fifteen years earlier during World War I, and Germans lacked confidence in their weak government, known as the Weimar Republic. These conditions provided the chance for the rise of a new leader, Adolf Hitler, and his party, the National Socialist German Workers' Party, or Nazi party for short.

genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. And predijuice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Hitler got all of his power by preforming genocide and being predijuice.Geman people did not fight his power because Hitler did what he wanted, such as killing people. The United States took so long to fight in war with them because they had to wait for laws to be made against genocide. The world was 2 had an effect on the civil rights. Allowing everyone to be free.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people especially those of a particular ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that someone forms and it isn't based on reason or actual experience. Hitler became powerful because of fear. If you have enough courage and people that support you, you can do anything. I believe this is how he rose to power. People thought of him as powerful, when in reality he was just a horrible and mean man. The United States had a treaty with Germany that said that the U.S. could not do anything against the Nazis unless they acted first upon the U.S. Once the Japanese, in cooperation with the Nazis, bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, the US could finally fight back. In World War II blacks were not allowed to join the U.S. military, which is also known as segregation. This started the Civil Rights Movement where blacks fought for their freedom.

Genocide is when someone kills a lot of people, usually a race or a group of people. Hitler did this, it was very wrong. Hitler got power by scaring people and persuading people that Jews, homosexuals, gipsys, and Jehovah Witnesses are doing wrong which they weren’t. I think the Germans didn’t fight back because they felt like they couldn’t take them on. I think we didn’t get involved till later because we weren’t being messed with yet, they didn’t do anything to us so we didn’t get involved.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group of people, specifically those of a particular ethnic group or nationality. Prejudice is harm or injury that results or may result from some action or judgment. Hitler come into power by way of persuasion and then reinforced his power by invoking fear. Germans did not fight Hitler’s power because they feared him.
There are a few reasons why the United States took so long to enter the war. One, America was in the middle of a Great Depression and we could not afford to spend money on a war that did not directly put our safety at risk. Second, we had a small military after WW1 most of our Navy was destroyed, we shrunk our Army to save money and we did not see a need for it at the time. To wrap up this blog, the final question to answer is what has WW2 to do with the civil rights movement in America. During the war many African Americans, war offered an opportunity to get out of the cycle of crushing rural poverty. Blacks joined the military in large numbers, escaping a decade of Depression and tenant farming in the South and Midwest. Yet, like the rest of America in the 1940s, the armed forces were segregated, and then those bad habits came back home with the troops.

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a large group especially those of a particular ethnic group, nation or someone with a disease. Prejudice is to act with out facts or experience. The way Hitler got all of his power is through fear and playing his cards right. He got out of jail and took some time to get a couple high ranking political spots. From there he got all his power by starting a private army that would pull the trigger on you if you looked at them the wrong way. After some time he got more control and started treating the Jews in a very bad manner. Then he started executing them for fun. After that me started mass camps which were know as concentration camps an death camps and I do wonder why no one in Germany took him out earlier. He would have been as easy to kill as any other person. Honestly my thoughts on Hitler is that Hitler will always have a special place on the long black train(Hell). The reason that it took so long for us to get involved in the war is because he wasn't doing anything to us. Then he ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor by making a deal with Japan. WWII had an effect with civil rights because blacks could not join the army so this gave them a chance to get away from all of this.

Hitler was prejudice, but to the max. Prejudice is prejudgement of opinions before coming aware of the relavant facts of a case. Genocide is a systematic destruction of a racial, ethnic, religousand national group. It was almost like the devil sent a minion to earth. He was one of the most persuasive public speakers. People did not fight his power because he was persuasive. It gave african americans an oppurtunity to get out of rural poverty. It had people who said I do not this war to happen. It split up into people who wanted the war and people who did not want the war.

Genocide is a large killing people of a certain ethnic group or nation. Prejudice is an opinion not based on personal experience or reason. Hitler came to power by being a powerful speaker, using violence and fear in his speeches. The United States joined late in the war because at first, the United States were going to stay neutral during this war unless we were threatened. Even if the U.S. wanted to join earlier, we only had about 100,000 soldiers while the French, Russian and Japanese had millions. World War 2 had many effects on civil rights in the United States. Before combat, the army was segregated, but during battle they mixed since they were constantly under attack.

Genocide is the systematic killing of a racial or cultural group. Prejudice is forming a judgement or opinion before becoming aware of the facts in a case. Hitler was a smart, but dangerous person. He tricked people into thinking that he was a good person. He slowly took over towns and destroyed places where Jewish people went to work and worship. Then, he kept building his power and taking over different areas. Many Germans didn't fight him because they were too scared to. He had enough power to do whatever he wanted to and that scared a lot of people. The United states did not want to get involved at first. At the time, they had a small army and did not want to risk going into battle, but eventually they had to. The amount of soldiers in the army effected the Civil Rights movement because the United States realized that during the war, it became even harder to keep different races apart and they knew that the US army could use more help. Desegregation was the best option for everyone and it made their lives even easier.

Genocide is a word meaning the hate of a group. A hate so bad they want to destroy it, or make them extinct. Just like Hitler wanted to perform genocide with Jews. It was not even a word until 1944; this was because it was specifically describing that point in time. Being prejudice is to assume bad things against a group without even having an experience with them. Hitler believed the Jews were the reason they lost the war. This led to the Holocaust. Hitler gained power by persuasion. That was really the only way he could. For some reason, no German tried to stop him. Why wouldn’t they? Almost everyone in Germany believed in what he said and was doing. They might as well have believed he was a God. Anyone who opposed to the matter was shot and killed. It took a while for the United States to join in the war. This was because the U.S. did not like to enter any European conflicts. We didn’t until Pearl Harbor. This was WWII. In some way this led to the Civil Rights. What would make anyone think of this? Well, we decided if a Black man can fight and die for his country, then he could vote for it. This led to the world today. The Holocaust and WWII led to a powerful impact in the world. One time that would change it forever.

Genocide, by definition, is the murder of a chosen group of people based on race, religion, or other means. Genocide is quite possibly one of the strongest forms of prejudice, which is the judgement of a person due to one of their aspects. One of the most infamous examples of Genocide was during World War II, where a man named Adolf Hitler rose to power in not only Germany, but all of Europe. Hitler believed that the Jews were the reason for Germany's economic decline after World War I, and formed the Nazi party in order to hopefully rid of them. He believed that Aryans, people with blond hair and blue eyes, were the superior race, and were the only ones who should rule the world. He started the Holocaust to rid not only of Jews, but also of Africans, homosexuals, and disabled people. During the war, the United States tried to remain neutral, occasionally supporting the Allied Forces, which included the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union. However, after Pearl Harbor in Hawaii was bombed, the United States decided to help defeat the Nazi party, and end the concentration camps that were spread throughout Europe. Eventually, Hitler committed suicide, and the Allied Forces won World War II. During the war, women began taking the jobs which were originally exclusive to men, since most men were off at war. Despite the Allied Forces winning, however, over six million people died in the Holocaust, meaning that not all could be saved. This eventually lead to the Women's Rights movement, which still remains strong today, since although women do have more rights than before, there still is many privileges men have in society. In the end, World War II had a great impact on the world as a whole.

Genocide is a deliberate killing of a large mass of people because of ethnicity, religion and a number of things. Hitler had so much power that others began following him to keep themselves safe. Germany did not fight back because they were out-numbered and the Nazi's had more fire-power. Prejudice is an opinion on others based by their skin color, religion, nationality, etc. World War 2 affected many things and showed people that things needed (and still do) need to change.
