Picasso was a famous mexican artist from birth ( 1881 ) to death
( 1973 ) At the age of seven pablos' father (an artist himself) came home from work, only to see what his son had drew, with only a pencil. he then gave all of his art supplies, a huge set of paint and various other things, and gave them to his son. He saw what great potintial his son had to be a great artist, to be better than him at that age.
This did happen as picasso went on to be one of the mst famous mexican artest ever. He went through many art stages in his life such as: the blue period, the rose period, and the aferican-influenced period.
He is famous to the people of Chicago for his donation of the Maquette sculpture in 1967. The mueseum offered him $100,000 for it. a very large total now, but then it was almost un-herd of. Pablo declined this money, and donated one of his most famous works of art.

Pablo Picasso was a very famous artist. He was born in Spain but, he lived in France. The Picasso Museum is Barcelona. He is known well for his paintings and other artworks.

Abstract expressionism is where small brush strokes make the larger painting. Cubism is where an artist breaks down the natural form of objects into geometric shapes. Some of his artworks are Les Demoiselles d'Avignon and Three Musicians.

I am not sure which of Picasso's daughters are famous because it gives me the name Maia and Paloma. Some of his contemporaries are cubism and abstract expressionism.

Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruiz y Picasso better known to us as Picasso :), was a Spanish painter and sculptor, generally considered the greatest artist of the 20th century. He was unique as an inventor of forms, as an innovator of styles and techniques, as a master of various media, and as one of the most prolific artists in history. He created more than 20,000 works. He was born in the city of Málaga in the Andalusian region of Spain.

Picasso’s Blue Period (1901–1904) consists of somber paintings rendered in shades of blue and blue-green, only occasionally warmed by other colors. This period’s starting point is uncertain; it may have begun in Spain in the spring of 1901, or in Paris in the second half of the year. Many paintings of gaunt mothers with children date from this period.

Cubism (1909–1912) is a style of painting Picasso developed along with Georges Braque using monochrome brownish and neutral colors.

Abstract Expressionism is a modern art movement that flowered in America after the Second World War and held sway until the dawn of Pop Art in the 1960's.

The Picasso Museum is in Barcelona, Spain.

Some of Picasso's
famous works are: Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907)
Guernica (1937) The Weeping Woman (1937)

Picasso's most famous daughter's name was Paloma. She was named after him. She came to the attention of the fashion world in 1980 when she joined Tiffany & Co. creating a jewelry collection that was bold in design and included unexpected combinations of gold and silver jewelry and semi-precious stones.

She followed that success with a perfume that has become a favorite among many women and a red lipstick (``Mon Rogue'') that she could model better than anyone else. Her striking Mediterranean looks continue to grace the pages of many women's magazines.

In 1987, she expanded her image by designing and manufacturing handbags, belts, scarves, gloves and umbrellas under the Lopez-Cambil Ltd label - a joined venture with her Argentine-born playwright husband whom she has collaborated with since 1972.

Some of Picasso's contemporaries were cubism and abstract expressionism... I think. =)

Abstract expressionism is painting movement in which artists typically applied paint rapidly, and with force to their huge canvases in an effort to show feelings and emotions. The blue period is marvelous expression of poetic subtlety and personal melanochy and contributes to the transition of Picasso's style form classicism to abstract art.

Cubism is a nonobjective school of painting and sculpture developed in Paris in the early 20th century, characterized by the reduction and fragmentation of natural forms into abstract, often geometric structures usually rendered as a set of discrete planes.

Some of Picasso's paintings are:
“The Blind Mans Metal"
Picasso 1903
" Dora Maar au Chat"
Picasso 1941

Picasso's most famous daughter was Paloma. She was a designer at Tiffany and co. He also has another daughter Maia and a son named Pablo, but I can’t find any information on them.

Picasso was a Spanish painter, draughtsman, and sculptor. He was born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain. He died on April 8, 1973. He is one of the most recognized figures in twentieth-century art. He is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles embodied in his work.

He showed a skill for drawing from an early age. His first word was "piz, piz", a shortening of lapiz, which is the Spanish word for pencil. He studied in Madrid, then the art capital of Europe.

The Picasso Museum is in Barcelona. It opened in 1963 and contains an important collection of his work. There is also a Picasso Museum in Malaga. Much of his really spectacular stuff is in private hands.

Abstract Expressionism is a style of painting that combines abstract form and expressionist emotional value. It started in the mid 1940's in New York but its influence comes much earlier from Surrealism and Cubism. It is often considered America's most important contribution to Modernism. Unlike action painting, works are less spontaneous. They are more manipulated towards a preconceived notion of an end result.

The Blue Period consists of somber paintings rendered in shades of blue and blue-green, only occasionally warmed by other colors. This period lasted from 1900 to 1904. These somber works were inspired by Spain but they were painted in Paris. These paintings are some of Picasso's most popular works, although he had difficulty selling them at the time.

Cubism is unusual. The artist looks at an object carefully. He or she then recreates the object using geometric shapes. The artist might use cubes, cyclinders, balls, and cones. He or she also tries to show the objescy from different sides at the same time. This style of art began in the twentieth century. It didn't last long.

Some of Picasso's famous works are Guernia, Three Musicians, The Three Dancers, and Self Portrait: Yo Picasso. Some of his famous paintings were done during the blue period. Another famous painting is Dora Maar With Cat.

Picasso's famous daughter is Paloma. She was born in Paris. She was named after the dove symbol her father designed for the World Peace Congress in 1949. She
is an accessory designer. Paloma joined Tiffany and Co. creating jewelry. She followed with the success of a perfume. She also designs and manufactures handbags, belts, scarves, gloves, and umbrellas with her husband.

Some of Picasso's contemporaries were Paul Cezanne, Marc Chagall, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Henri Matisse, Dicgo Rivera, and George Braque.

Abstract expressionism is a painting movement in which artists typically apply paint rapidly, and with force on their huge canvases in effort to show their feelings and emotions. They sometimes apply paint with large brushes. Also, they would drip or throw their paint onto the canvas. Their work is characterized by a strong dependence on what appears to be accident and chance but which was highly planned. Picasso's blue period went from 1901-1904. It is characterized by a predominantly blue palette and subjects were outcasts, beggars and others. He also produced his first sculptures during this period. Cubism is when the subject matter is broken up, analyzed, and reassembled in an abstract form. The most famous Picasso painting of the blue period is The Old Guitarist(1903). Other famous paintings by Picasso are Woman in a Chemise (Madeleine), Harlequin Family, The Girl with a Boat, and Still-Life with Chair Caning. His daughter is Paloma Picasso. She is jewelry designer for Tiffany & Co. and others. Some of Picasso's contemporaries were Georges Braque and Paul Cezanne.

Abstract expressionism is the form of painting that Picasso made popular. It is using small brush strokes in various directions to make or form a larger image. Most of Picasso’s famous paintings were portraits or just faces of individuals.
The blue period was predominately the use of blue colors from the blue palette. The subjects were mainly outcasts, beggars, etc. The form of cubism that Picasso developed was the use of geometric shapes, small and large, to form the natural looking objects. He used broken up images in symbol forms to collaborate into a face, or facial features.
Some of Picasso’s famous works are: The Old Guitarist, Woman in a Chemise, and The Girl with the Boat. These are just a few of the many famous works of Picasso.
Picasso’s famous daughter is Paloma Picasso. She is employed, or works for Tiffany and Company. Her title is jewelry designer.
A few of Picasso’s contemporaries would be: George Braque, Paul Cezanne and Marc Chagall.

Pablo Picasso was a famous artist from Málaga, Spain, and he created some of the most intriguing artwork ever. His full birth name was Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruizy Picasso. Now I don’t know about you, but that is an extremely long name, if you ask me. There are many different museums dedicated to Picasso. There is: Musée National Picasso in Paris, Musée Picasso in Antibes, France, and Museo Picasso Málaga in Picasso’s home town, and the Museu Picasso in Barcelona. Abstract Expressionism is a post-WW2 method of painting that was used by artists like Picasso in Europe, and that style of free thinking influenced the new art Museums that made New York the new world center of art. The “Blue Period” was a period of time when Picasso painted in somber shades of dark blue and dark green. Most of his painting from this time depict gaunt mothers, prostitutes, and beggars on the streets of Paris. In my opinon, this perion of Picasso’s life was my favorite. Cubism is a style of painting created by Picasso, and Georges Braque that uses monochrome brownish and neutral colors, instead of bright, intense colors. Some of picasso’s famous works were, 1907’s “Les Demoiselles d'Avignon”, 1937’s “Guernica”, and 1937’s “The Weeping Woman”. And Picasso’s fmous daughter was Paloma Picasso, who was a famous fashion designer in Europe. He had Paloma with Françoise Gilot, one of his last lovers. Not suprisingly, Picasso had children up until the age of 73 or 74. Andd he was married three times, his first wife was Olga Khokhlova, his second Marie-Thérèse Walter, and his third Françoise Gilot. In my not so expert opinion, I think Picasso was the Cassanova of his day. That or he just really, really…really enjoyed the company of women. And if he wasn’t with one of his wives, he was probably with one of his many mistresses. Eventually, Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruiz y Picasso, died in Mougins, France on April 8, 1973 at the age of 91.

The years from 1901-1904, were known as Picasso's Blue Period. These were difficult years for him personally. Picasso was very poor at this time. He often didn't have enough money to buy oil paints and canvas to do his painting. Also, he was very sad and depressed due to the death of his good friend, Carlos Casagemas. Carlos committed suicide because of a broken heart after the loss of a love.
The Cubist art movement began in Paris around 1907. Led by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, the Cubists broke from centuries of tradition in their painting by rejecting the single viewpoint. Instead they used an analytical system in which three-dimensional subjects were fragmented and redefined from several different points of view simultaneously.
Some famous Picasso works include Dora Maar with Cat, Garçon à la Pipe, and Femme aux Bras Croisés. Picasso's famous daughter is named Paloma. In English, her name means a dove. One of Picasso's contemporaries name was Braque.

Picasso was a famous artist. He was born in Málaga on October25, 1881.The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is indispensable for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. The genius of the young artist is revealed through the more than 3,500 works that make up the permanent collection. However, the Picasso Museum also reveals his relationship with Barcelona: an intimate, solid relationship that was shaped in his adolescence and youth, and continued until his death. Abstract expressionism was a specifically American post-World War II art movement. The Blue Period was between 1900 and 1902; Picasso made three trips to Paris, finally settling there in 1904. He found the city's bohemian street life fascinating, and his pictures of people in dance halls and cafés show how he assimilated the postimpressionism of Paul Gauguin and the symbolist painters called the Nabis. The themes of Edgar Degas and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, as well as the style of the latter, exerted the strongest influence. Picasso's Blue Room reflects the work of both these painters and, at the same time, shows his evolution toward the Blue Period, so called because various shades of blue dominated his work for the next few years. Expressing human misery, the paintings portray blind figures, beggars, alcoholics, and prostitutes, their somewhat elongated bodies reminiscent of works by the Spanish artist El Greco. There is no need to repeat here that Cubism which began in France early in this century played an extremely important role in the development of modern art. This innovative movement started by Picasso and Braque. Some of his greatest art works are
The End of the Road - 1898-99
Le Moulin de la Galette - 1900
Blue Nude - 1903
La Vie - 1903
The Old Guitarist - 1903
Woman with a Crow - 1904
Family at Saltimbanques - 1905
Gertrude Stein - 1905-06
Two Nudes - 1906
Les Demoiselles d'Avignon - 1907
Three Women - 1907-08

Picasso's most famous daughter's name was Paloma. She was named after him. She came to the attention of the fashion world in 1980 when she joined Tiffany & Co. creating a jewelry collection that was bold in design and included unexpected combinations of gold and silver jewelry and semi-precious stones.

Cuisms are paintings that express planes of many altitudes and distances apart. For example, a picture can be painted of clouds and tilted down looking at the earth's crust; the earth's crust is on a different plane than the clouds, therefore, its a cubic painting.

Picasso painted many famous paintings, some of the more famous include: "Guernica", "The Young Ladies of Avignon", and "The Three Musicians".

Maya Picasso, Picasso's first child works as a tiffiney designer.

The blue period was a period of time after picasso moved to paris. During this time period he only painted pictures in shades of blue. This was named, the blue period.

Pablo Ruiz Picasso, (October 25, 1881 - April 8, 1973) was one of the most famous artists of the 20th century. His name in full was Pablo (or Pablito) Diego José Santiago Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispín Crispiniano de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz Blasco y Picasso López. WOW! That’s long!
Picasso was born in Málaga, Spain, and is probably most famous as the founder, along with Georges Braque, of Cubism. However, in a long life he produced a wide and varied body of work, the best-known being the Blue Period works which feature moving shapes of acrobats, harlequin, beggars and, artists. Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and his depiction of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War, Guernica (1937). His work is really pretty strange to me, it is abstract.

Paloma Picasso – his daughter was born April 19, 1949, in Vallauris, France is a French/Spanish fashion designer and businesswoman. She is the daughter of artists Pablo Picasso and Françoise Gilot. Paloma is a French/ Spanish fashion designer and business woman. Paloma works in Switzerland, where she now resides. Paloma’s name means “dove”. At an early age, Paloma was the subject of many of her father's works, including Paloma with an Orange and Paloma in Blue. Eventually she turned to the field of fashion design and started her own company and brand, such as her perfume and popular line of evening wear. She also designs jewelry for Tiffany & Co. and was known as a regular at the legendary discotheque Studio 54.

Some of Picasso's contemporaries were Paul Cezanne, Marc Chagall, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Henri Matisse, Dicgo Rivera, and George Braque. I’m really not much into art, but Picasso seems like are very famous artist. People spend millions of dollars on his artwork. I think it is very ridiculous to spend that amount of money on painting. Some people see it as an investment though.

Picasso was a famous artist that was born in Spain. He was recognized as a child prodigy by his art-teaching father. The Museo de Picasso (Picasso Musuem) is in Barcelona.

Abstract Expressionism is a movement in experimental, nonrepresentational painting originating in the U.S. in the 1940s, with sources in earlier movements, and embracing many individual styles marked in common by freedom of technique, a preference for dramatically large canvases, and a desire to give spontaneous expression to the unconscious.

The blue period began shortly after Picasso moved to Paris from Barcelona. Picasso started to do all of his drawings in Blue. This particular pigment is effective in conveying a sombre tone. The psychological trigger for these depressing paintings was the death of Picasso's friend. The work in the Blue period was sentimental, but Picasso was still in his late teens and away from home for the first time and living in very poor conditions.

In late 1906, Pablo started to paint in a truly revolutionary manner. He began to express space in strongly geometrical terms. These intial efforts at developing this almost sculptural sense of space in painting are the beginnings of Cubism.

Some of the paintings from Picasso include, "Self-Potrait with Uncombed Hair", "Carlos Casagemas", Moulin de la Galette", "Woman with a Cigarette", and "Boulevard de Clichy".

Picasso's daughter is named Paloma. She was famous with working with Tiffany & Co. creating beautiful jewelry.

Some contemporaries were Picasso's abstract art and cubism. Also, his Blue and Rose periods.

Picasso is a famous artist from Mexico. The Picasso Museum is in Barcelona, Spain. Abstract expressionism is an American post-World War II art movement. From seeing some examples of it, I can tell it is really just some random stuff with no focal point. Picasso's paintings during the blue period (1901-1904) consisted of mostly somber shades of blue and green and were only occasionally accompanied my warmer colors. Cubism is an artistic style developed by Picasso and Georges Braque. They used monochrome shades of brown and neutral colors. They analyzed the shapes in works. A further development of cubism was synthetic cubism, in which cut shapes of paper were pasted onto a larger sheet. Some famous works by Picasso include Dora Maar au Chat, Three Musicians, and Guernica, though there are many, many others. Picasso's daughter's name is Paloma, and she works as a fashion designer. At least, that's what I could gather. Some of Picasso's contemporaries are abstract expressionism, the blue period, and cubism.

Picasso was a spanish painter who painted many portraits of faces. He was a very well know painter after his time, but during his time, his art was not well known.

Picasso Museum is located right in the middle of the fashionable Marais district in Paris, France.

Abstract expressionism is a way to paint pictures and express emotion in the pictures. Picasso and many other impressionist artists did such paintings throughout thier lives.

Cuisms are paintings that express planes of many altitudes and distances apart. For example, a picture can be painted of clouds and tilted down looking at the earth's crust; the earth's crust is on a different plane than the clouds, therefore, its a cubic painting.

The Picasso Museum is located in Barcelona, Spain as well. The Picasso Museum holds some of Picasso’s abstract expressionism paintings. Abstract expressionism is a painting movement in which artists typically apply paint rapidly, and with force to their huge canvases in an effort to show feelings and emotions. Picasso didn’t just paint with abstract expressionism. He painted with other techniques, some of which he made up himself. The blue period may be considered as an example. The blue period consisted of paintings, obviously from its name, blue and blue-green. He seldom put any other colors in the paintings. The paintings mostly consisted of prostitutes and beggars. Some think this period was inspired by Picasso’s best friend’s death. Picasso also painted with the cubism technique. This technique uses only neutral colors and emphasizes the sharpness of shapes. Some of Picasso’s famous paintings include: Dora Maar au Chat ( 1941), Massacre in Korea (1951), Femme aux Bras Croisés ( The blue period- 1902).
Picasso has many daughters. Although, his most famous daughter is Paloma Picasso. Paloma is a fashion designer. She has worked with Tiffany& Co. and many other high fashioned designers.

In his austere use of color and sometimes doleful subject matter—prostitutes and beggars are frequent subjects—Picasso was influenced by a trip through Spain and by the suicide of his friend Carlos Casagemas. Starting in autumn of 1901 he painted several posthumous portraits of Casagemas, culminating in the gloomy allegorical painting La Vie (1903), now in the Cleveland Museum of Art.

The same mood pervades the well-known etching The Frugal Repast (1904), which depicts a blind man and a sighted woman, both emaciated, seated at a nearly bare table. Blindness is a recurrent theme in Picasso’s works of this period, also represented in The Blindman’s Meal (1903, the Metropolitan Museum of Art) and in the portrait of Celestina (1903). Other works include Portrait of Soler and Portrait of Suzanne Bloch‎.

Picasso was a famous Mexican artist from birth to death. At the age of seven Pablo’s' father (an artist himself) came home from work, only to see what his son had drew, with only a pencil. He then gave all of his art supplies, a huge set of paint and various other things, and gave them to his son. He saw what great potential his son had to be a great artist, to be better than him at that age. Most people go to Chicago to see his famous artwork. Abstract expressionism is where small brush strokes make the larger painting. Cubism is where an artist breaks down the natural form of objects into geometric shapes. Picasso's most famous daughter was Paloma. She was a designer at Tiffany and co. He also has another daughter Maia and a son named Pablo, but I can’t find any information on them.

Picasso is a very famous Spanish painter from Spain. The Picasso Museum is in Barcelona, Spain. Abstract expressionism was an American post–World War II art movement. The blue period is referred to a time when Picasso's pictures all had the color blue in them. Cubism was developed by Picasso and Georges Braque in the early part of the twentieth century. Cubist painters didn't copy form, texture, color, or space. Instead, they showed a new form in paintings that showed several different sides of the object, using monochrome brownish and neutral colors. Guernica, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Femme aux Bras, and Massacre in Korea are some of Picasso's famous works. Paloma Picasso, Picasso's daughter, is a French/Spanish designer and a businesswoman. Some of Picasso's contemporaries are Georges Braque, Robert Delaunay, Lyonel Feininger, Juan Gris, Fernand Leger, and Kasimir Malevich.
