The jewish cemetery in poland looks a lot more crowded with tombstones then the cemetery in philadelphia. 3 million jews were killed in poland and their handstones were use to pave the streets of krakow. I think that the author's created this video to let people know that what happened to jews in that time was very tragic. It coorelates with the play because the play takes place during the Holocaust, and Anne Frank was jewish.
To know about polish people, im polish, but just a little. i think the purpose was t oshow how much the holocost ment to a lot of people and how many people died and tried to fight for their freedom. there a lot of people in poland and most of my dads side came from poland. This correlates to the play of anne frank from how poeple were hiding just like anne when her family and some others were hiding in this little space.

The one in Poland and the one in Philidelphia both show where Jewish bodies were buried, but the Polish cemetery was tron apart by the Germans before/during WWII, but the one in Philidelphiahas been untouched since it was built and dedicated. Even though the Poland and Philadelphia Holocaust Memorials both represent the same horrifying history, they are different in numerous ways. In my opinion, hopefully I’m not the only one who feels the same way, the Poland cemetery showed absolutely no respect at all. For example, the tombstones looked as if they were thrown in place, leaves were everywhere, and overall the place looked dreary and uncared for. The tombstones there were crowded, and crooked, and shows just how the Nazis were; heartless. This example right here also shows their disdain. However, the Philadelphia Memorial wasn’t as careless at the Poland one. Thankfully, the tombstones were nice, organized, and in rows. The sculptures that were made there actually told of the terrible history of the Holocaust, and gave justice to the children and Jews who had to live through this treacherous time. Yet, nothing can make up for this terrifying time in history.
This video was very moving and eye- opening. As a result, I believe that was the reason the author made this video. To, make you realize that this actually happened and wasn’t only a dream. This tragedy was horrendous and this video shows just how much the Nazis cared when they died. It is really eye- opening to see how heartless people can be. Yet, the Philadelphia Memorial didn’t show that at all and actually correlates with the Anne Frank play. The cleanliness, the organization, and the sculptures in the Philadelphia Memorial showed that through that through everything, people are still good at heart.

Now that I think about it, they probably just did that so they wouldn't have to place them in the soil of their country. Philadelphians took the time to place them in a way that would show their respects towards the deceased. Those people also engraved their names, so that was something that made it a little more memorial. Also, they took the time to identify each person. I feel that the author wanted to express to viewers something that he/she/it noticed. I would have never noticed the coincidence of how the Poles buried the people. I also think that the author wanted to inform people about things that happened before/during/after WWII. All of the things that are in the video, are about the Holocaust and are caused because of hatred. The Anne Frank play, is all about the Holocaust too.

The jewish cemetery in polandd looked very crowded. There tombstones were paved in to a ground to make a road which I like is very disrespectful, But i firgured out that is what they were trying to do. The one in Philadelipha was very neat and respectful, they gave honor to the people who worked hard. This video was most likely to show and tell you haow tragic this point in time was, which made me think why would people do this just because they are a different kind. They hurt little child and adults. Nobody should have to go out and work like this just to be killed. I know this is so horride and what makes this worse is that its still going on. This is comparing to Anne Frank because she was also jewish, but she went into hiding so she wouldnt go to the camp, even though she got caught she stayed with her family and she lived to teel about her tragic life changing story.

The cemetary in Philidelphia is definitely a lot nicer than the one in Poland. It’s also a lot less crowded. In Poland many of the headstones were taken an used as paving stones for the streets. The author’s purpose is to inform us about how little the Jews meant to some people while others cared a lot. In Anne Frank, Anne and her family is found in hiding and taken to a camp just like thousands upon thousands of other Jews were. Many, including Anne, died and were burried in unmarked mass graves. It’s simply horrible that we will never know what these poor murdered people could have done with their lives and how their lives could have influenced the world.
You can see that in Philidelphia the grave stones are evenly spaced, the grass is cut,the stones are newer, there are pathways. In the other cemitary in poland, the germans just mutalated it. I honestly thought it was just a pile of rocks at the begining of the video. I just was appauled when it was told that jewish headstones where used to pave the roads. These people will as a whole never be forrgotten, but the individual people as sad as it is will probaly never be recognized for their suffering.

The Polish we're terrible in the fact that they removed the headstones of the killed Jews and used them to pave the streets they drive over. That's an extremely sick thing to do. It's even too much that the Jewish were murdered for no reason, but to take away their dignity when they can't defend themselves is infinitely low. The author's purpose of this video is to try to give some justice back to the killed Jews. This video correlates with the play of Anne Frank in the fact that the subject is the Holocaust and it shows the things that we can't afford forget, no matter how much we want to believe these horrible things never happened.
