A Secret Government Bunker Revealed

How was it a benefit for WV to house this secret bunker? How did the press find out about the bunker? What are some of the clues that people in WV had that the secret bunker existed? Have you ever been to the bunker? Where would the president have hidden? Where would the Supreme Court Justices have hidden? How was this kept a secret for 32 years? Why would WV have been selected for this bunker?

This secret bunker is beneficial for WV because it draws more attention to our state. Eventually the government figured out because people probably looked suspicious. Some clues could have been that The Greenbrier is very distinct so it could be kind of obvious. No, I have never been to the bunker. The president would be in the safest place and then the justices. The secret could have been kept for 32 years because no one would think to look in WV.

Wv benefited from housing this secret bunker because they helped the country, which made them important. The people in charge of making the bunker would've wanted to protect West Virginia. The bunker was finally revealed to everyone when the press found out. It was suspicious and the press finally realized that something was up. Some of the clues that the secret bunker existed were the "Tv People" coming in. They were actually working on the bunker. I've never been to the bunker but I have family members who have been. The president, the Supreme Court Justices, and the other important people would've hid in the lowest an safest place. This was kept a secret for 32 years because it was in a place that nobody would expect. Wv was selected to have the bunker because it was where nobody would look.

How the secret bunker was beneficial to WV is because I'm made WV look more intriguing and exciting. One reason that they were discovered was because some of the television repair men looked pretty suspicious. Another reason is because many people took photos and they also saw suspicious looking black helicopters fly bye. Me personally have never been to a bunker, but I would like too though. The president might hide in another top secret bunker because it will not be as safe sense everyone knows about it. The Supreme Court would maybe hide with the president or maybe in a different bunker. I think how it stayed hidden maybe because the government had probably had the bunker built there ant then they built the hotel on top of it and they didn't want to say anything to get people curious, but of course that didn't stop people from finding out now didn't it. WV was probably chosen because it is remote and no one would ever think of it.

The secret bunker was beneficial to WV because it brought attention that the government would build a bunker in Greenbrier county. The press probably got suspicious with the "TV Repair" men always going in and not coming out for hours or days at a time. As I said the "repair men" and other suspicious people. I have never been to a bunker but it would be cool and a bit creepy to go to one. The president would have most likely had a super protective room, same with the Supreme Court Justices. The government chose a place where nobody would ever suspect a secret bunker to be, under a hotel that not even the owners knew was there. The government put the bunker under WV because it is one of our smaller states and not many visitor attracting places. The government was quite smart for putting it under WV soil.

The secret bunker is beneficial to WV because it brings attention to our state and towards the Greenbrier. The Greenbrier finally revealed that the government had a secret bunker underneath of there. Some clues couldve been that the TV people that went there actually were going to the bunker. Another couldve been that is very distinct. No i have never been inside of a bunker. The president would be hiding in the safest place, and then the justices. The secret bunker couldve been kept a secret for 32 years because the government didnt want people to know where they were at so random people could just come in.

After its exposure in 1992 by The Washington Post (italicized), the Greenbrier Bunker (referred to as "Project Greek Island" by the government) benefited West Virginia in that it brought attention in the form of press coverage as well as commerce in the form of tourism. Today, the tours of the bunker in particular bring in numerous tourists and thus significant amounts of money, improving the West Virginia economy. The bunker was kept a secret for over 32 years, as only a select few people were told of its existence and sworn to secrecy, though the most noticeable and suspicious clue was that of the hotel audiovisual employees charged with repairing and sustaining the Greenbrier Hotel's televisions. In reality, they were people tasked with maintaining the bunker, hidden under the guise of repairmen operating under a dummy company named Forsythe Associates. When the location of the bunker was originally brought into question, West Virginia was most likely chosen because of its simultaneous nearness to the capitol building and its not incredibly high (but still not too low) population. Neither the president nor the Supreme Court Justices would've been hidden in the bunker, as its purpose was solely to house the members of Congress in the event of a nuclear attack on the Capitol. I've never been to the bunker myself, though I would like to visit.

It is more benefit because it draws attention to our state. It was very suspicious and the press found out because something fishy was going on. One clue was the tv cast people coming in. No I ha e never ever been to the secret bunker. The president would probably hide in another bunker because that one is well known about. It was probably hidden for so long because wv isn't a place they would think to look. It was selected because it was the best place where no one would look.

A benefit to a secret bunker is to hide people are things when in an emergency. It was found out by suspicious people in the building. I haven't been to a bunker. Important people would hide here incase of an attack. This was a secret by careful planning and actions. WV chose this bunker for its ability to hide in plane sight.

The secret bunker under the Greenbrier Resort in Lewisburg WV was beneficial to WV because of the investment and work done by the US Government along with all the people that were employed in the construction and maintenance of the facility.

The site was chosen because it is in the mountains, near a small town and is not that far from Washington DC, so that in the event of a Nuclear Catastrophe, Members of the Legislative Branch of government, could be evacuated quickly away from danger and allow them to remain safe and in control of the nation.

When I was a baby, my parents took me to the Greenbrier Resort, but we did not tour the bunker.

This secret bunker in WV drew much more attention to the state. this attention was obviously positive due to the bunker. The press found out from being suspicious about all of the repairmen. Although, these men were helping the bunker. No, I have not been to the bunker. The president nor the Supreme Court Justices would not have hid in the bunker. This bunker was to house the Congress. It was a secret for this long because not many people knew about it and the few that did were sworn to secrecy. WV was such a good place due to its position so close the capitol and it could easily hide the bunker.

The Greenbrier's secret bunker was beneficial to West Virginia because it was a huge boost to the tourism industry and our economy. Employees at the Greenbrier began to suspect tv repairmen, eventually leading to the press's discovery of it. I have never been to the bunker. The president would not be kept in the bunker because it was built to house Congress members. This was kept a secret for thirty two years because West Virginia is often overlooked as a whole, and anyone with knowledge of the project was sworn to secrecy. It's a benefit for West Virginia to house the secret bunker because it attracts tourism. The press found about the bunker because people were becoming suspicious because of frequent visits from "tv repairmen". The so-called tv repairmen were really just people maintaining the bunker and making sure all of the food and pharmaceuticals were up to date. I have never been to the bunker, but it sounds really cool. Neither the President or the Supreme Court would hide in the bunker because the bunker was only meant to hide Congress. For a distant time, the most significant industry in West Virginia, that makes the most money for the state, is coal. But, now, the most prominent is tourism. West Virginia housing this secret bunker, with many ideally intriguing things about it to go transparent, this increases tourism to importance. The press grew to find out about this bunker as suspicious workers behind this revealed, like eerie television repair men. There were other clues; however, most were due to suspicious actions. I have not been to the bunker. Congress was the one for the purpose of this place, not the POTUS or SCOTUS Justices. It was kept secret for so long because the people behind it swore to keep it secret. And, even if the people behind it did leak it, it would not be as essential as something like conspiracy theories. West Virginia was selected due to, in my opinion, because it is a place people do not usually think to for someone to hide. When people look for major places, they think of California, Texas, or Washington, D. C. West Virginia is the perfect combination for a well-hidden place.
