Firstly, a simile I could use to describe myself is “I’m about as small as a mouse,” considering I’m one of the smallest kids in my grade. In addition, I could use the metaphor “I’m a night owl,” to explain an aspect of my personality, as I hate everything about mornings (waking up early, the much-too-bright light, etc.) and love evenings and the night (staying up late, the quietness, the colors at dusk, etc.), similar to an owl’s sleep patterns. I could describe my grandmother as a general; she’s strict and stern, but, at the end of the day, she just wants to see you survive the war (the war being life). A metaphor that could describe my cat, since he's kind of a family member, is that he's also a rock because of how lazy he is with how he sleeps all the time and hunts at night.
