Explain two of the things that Martin Luther King dreams in his most famous speech. Have his dreams come to fruition. Is there equality in the world? How do we honor his life and his famous speech?
During Martin Luther kings "I have a dream speech" two things he dreamed for were for freedom and equality. His dreams have particularly came true because there is now equality in the world, but there is still racist people out there. Yes there is equality in the world now. We honor his life and speech by having a day in his honor where we are off of school and can appreciate all he has done. Avery Rohrbaugh 6-7
Martin Luther King Day is celebrated each year as a federal holiday to honor his life. Schools and government agencies across the nation are closed in its observance. Each year we reflect back on the hopes that he had for our country. One dream that Martin Luther King hoped for was the end of segregation. He believed that all individuals should be given the same rights, and that all individuals should have be given equal, fair opportunities. King dreamed of the day that blacks would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Many decades have passed since the August 28, 1963 famous speech of Martin Luther King. Great strides have been made since this time, however the world remains somewhat divided on all aspects of racism leaving continued room for improvement.
In Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a Dream" speech he said he could dream for his children to be appreciated for who they were and not the color of their skin this is equality. He also wanted freedom to anybody or any thing that may be treated like he was, he didn't want that uprising to ever happen again. Martin Luther is the main reason why we have the civil rights so his dream did come true but not fully. Today still some people put whites above everyone else saying they are dominate. Today we appreciate Martin Luther King Jr. by celebrating the third Monday of January each year to honor him. Thanking him for what he has done for this country.
This is a federal holiday. In the "I have a Dream" speech he said his dream was for his kids to be appreciated for who they were not by the color of their skin. He only wanted freedom and equality. Although Martin Luther King Jr. did make history by this speech and we no longer go through this big of a problem. Till this day we have racial issues where white people think they are above everyone else. Every third Monday of January, we honor him for his hard work as he rests in peace. Serenity Austin 6/7p.
In Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech two of his dreams were that, black and white people can be civil together and not disagree on everything. Another dream was that his children could grown up and not be judged by their skin color. There is still racism and inequality, but I believe his dreams are coming to fruition. We are still working on it, but it will happen. In the World there is inequality, not just by race. There is inequality by gender, sexuality, religion, and more. There are still people to this day that think they are better than people unlike them. After all these years people still think that they are above others, it is not true. There also is equality in the Worls too, not everywhere though. On the third Monday in January we celebrate Martin Luther King and his steps towards equality. It is a holiday and schools are closed.
Martin Luther Kings I have a dream speech is one of if not the most inspirational, touching speechs known to man. The speech touches many hearts and is very special. Two important things about the speech were that it wanted equality and it was for freedom. Equality because slaverys was around back then and he wanted the greater for all races all colors to all get along and be as one. Freedom was so that slavery would be outlawed and everyone could be seen not as color but as people. As of today there is not complete equality in the world but there is better a lot better equality then there was back then. We honor his speech by stufying him and the meaning of the speech. We also don't have school for the remberance of his life and his amazing speech.
Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech, shows 2 of Martin’s dreams for this country, those being equality and freedom. Most of his dreams today have been successful in shaping this country. Yet, most of the dreams are struggling with the various attacks in the US. But his dreams have shaped this country to what it is today. We honor this amazing speech by saving a day to retell the tale of MLK.
One of the things that Martin Luther King Jr. dreams about in his speech is that the country will soon treat every man like they are equal. Another is that his four kids will once live in a nation where they won't be judged by the color of their skin. The U.S. now treats everybody equal. However, there are still racist people. Martin Luther King Junior's kids did and do still live in a nation where they aren't judged by the color of their skin as much. Both of the dreams stated above did come true. There really isn't that much equality in the world though. If you think about it, there are poor people and rich people. There are people who don't have a problem with anything in life and there are people who experience harder situations. We honor Martin Luther;s life and his famous speech by dedicating a day to him every January.
In Martin Luther Kings famous speech he had two dreams. One being that his four kids to not be judged over the color of their skin. The other one was that every person and race was equal. Yes his dream did come into action even though we still have a lot of problems with racism.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a dream" speech was a famous call for racial equity/for people to not be judged by the color of their skin and for freedom from the slavery/left over issues from the Jim Crow Law days.
There have been many gains since that speech was given, but I'm not sure if we will ever be able to have a society that fits within his dream. When we watch the news daily there are stories about issues that go both ways. This week the attack on the mentally handicapped person in Chicago that was posted onto a Facebook live video was disgusting proof of the hatred that still lives in the mind and heart of some people.
The two things King dreamed for were freedom and equality. His dreams have somewhat came true. African Americans can now do anything a white man can do. I think there is equality in the world but people are still racist. We honor his life and speech by celebrating his birthday. For African Americans everywhere it is important that we celebrate this day.
Martin Luther's speech talked about there should be freedom for every race, and they should be treated as equal as everyone else is treated. He wants equality for everyone and doesn't want to be treated the way they are treated. Today, there are now civil rights for everyone, but the one problem is the fact that there are still many racist people in the world, and even people who judge other people's belief, which also includes race. Even blacks judge whites, but it's the exact same way around too. It's important to celebrate this holiday because it reminds everyone on how important you are no matter what color of your skin you are, or no matter what religion you have, because you are still a human, and that's all that matters.
Martin Luther kings speech has more that 2 things that have come true. but 2 of those are freedom for blacks and equality for blacks. both came true, but that does not mean there is still predijust in our world to day but it is no ware near the amount we had before today there were special places for blacks including separate water fountains. we honor MLK by respecting his values of equality and freedom it is vital we do not fall to our old ways of being stuck up, stupid, and upfront idiotic. we do not want to go back to those ways as that would be disrespecting one of the greatest men to have walked this earth.
Martin Luther King in his I have a dream speech wanted segregation to end. He wanted African-American children and white children to be able to play and go to school together. He also had a dream for all African-Americans to be treated equally. Martin Luther King wanted everyone to have the rights they deserved that were guaranteed under the United States Constitution. Equality has improved in many places in the world but in some places it is still not there. There have been many improvements but some people still do not have rights that they should have. We honor Martin Luther King by following the things that he wanted to happen in his speech. We also honor him by having a holiday each year in January in his name.
Martin Luther King Jr. is very inspiring to everyone. Martin dreamed of equality and freedom. Most of us have our freedom to be ourselves. There is equality mainly everywhere, so you can be judged not only by your skin color but by your character. There is still some racism that isn't necessary. We honor Martin Luther King Jr. by learning about him, giving him his own day, and by treating each other with respect no matter what our race is.
Martin Luther King Jr was very inspiring. During Martin Luther King Jr "I had a dream" speech King wanted freedom and equality. Thanks to Martin Luther King Jr every race has freedom and choices that everybody else has. There is still some racism is a necessary. We will honor Martin Luther King Junior by learning about him and continuing to pursue his dream and to respect others no matter what their race is. Kierstyn Ensminger 4-5
Martin Luther king Junior famous "I have a dream" speech is based upon freedom and equality. He wanted everyone to be equal no matter their color. Equality has improved some places but not all. There is equality in the world today but little racism still excist. Emily pitman 6/7
Two things Martin Luther King wished for were freedom and equality. King believed that people should live together in peace without racism. He wished that Blacks and Whites could live without segregation. He wanted every race to have the same rights and to be treated equally. Racism is still an issue today that is still being fought against. On the third Monday of January every year, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day to celebrate his life's achievements.
Martin Luther king jr gave his famous I gave a dream speech before he passed away. Everyone has heard his speech once or twice before. His speech was about how he invisons black and white children and adults will one day he together and not fight. If it wasn't for mlk's speech some rascism may still be going on today. But because of him racism is not as bad and that's why we celebrate Martin Luther king jr day
Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed that everyone would be free and everyone would be equal. His dreams have partially come true because we do have equality in the world today, but there are still people who judge others because of race and ethnic. Every year on the third Monday of January, we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and his heroic acts. Schools and government facilities across America are closed on this special day to honor the man who was determined to bring our nation together as one.
Martin Luther King Jr is most famous for his speech. His speech changed how the world works today and that's what makes him famous and important to a lot of people. In his speech "I have a dream" it described how he wanted freedom for the future and for everyone to be equal. Yes Martin Luther King Jr and his "I have a dream" speech changed how the world works today and a lot of people are thankful for that. We all honor his life and Martin Luther King Jr will never be forgotten because of his famous speech "I have a dream"!
During the Martin Luther King soeech, he dreads of freedom and equality. Both of these dreams have come true. Everyone is treated equally now. There are still racist people in the world, but most everyone has excepted each other. All Americans have a freedom to do anything. We honor Martin Luther King with a federal holiday. We celebrate his heroic acts. He was the one who brought our nation close together again. It is the third Monday in January. Chloe Johnson 6-7 period
Martin Luther king jr. Is most famous for his speech "I have a dream". His speech was to make all races be treated equally. Martin has changed how are country will end. If it wasn't for him we probably would have different schools, different water fountains, and had to go to the back of stores. Today the world is still a little unfair to African Americans. Like some people are made fun of in school, kids make African Americans drink from smaller one, and other types of bullying
Martin Luther King dreamed of equality and that his children will not be judged by the color of their skin but by what is beneath it. Rasism still exists in the world, but everyone is taking great efforts to honor him and his dreams by getting rid of it. He believed that everyone, no matter what race, should have the same rights and privileges. Equality has come a long way since Martin Luther King's speech on August 28, 1963, women and African Americans have more rights than they once had. Today we honor him by ringing the liberty bell once a year, which started in 1986. Also over 100 schools are named after Martin Luther King. Sophia Jordan 4/5 period
In Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech he wishes that women and men of all color would one day stand by side together as brothers and sisters. He also wished that everyone in our country would be treated equally and given the same opportunities. Although our country is still divided on some topics black and white men and women stand together as brother and sisters. When it seems like our country is in horrible condition our country finds a way to be united and not divided by the color of someone's skin. His dream that everyone should have the same opportunities came true as people that have black skin can have the same power as someone with white skin. An example would be for eight year America has had a president with black skin. There are still some racists in the world, but our great nation has mad improvements for equality. We honor this amazing man by celebrating him every January on the third Monday.
Martin Luther King wished for equality in the next generation and for freedom from the past in his "I have a dream" speech. I believe his speech and others have impacted the racial problems, but there still are some tentions. There is a fair amount of equality across the world even though not everyone is treated equal. Dr. King is represented on January 16 every year along with a memorial in Washington DC. He greatly impacted how we view what equality is.
Martin Luther king once Gave his "I have a dream" speech before he passed. Everyone has heard this speech more than two times.the speech was about how whites and blacks will be together and not fight. If it was not for Mr.king racism would be worse than it is today. That's why we celebrate Martin Luther king day.
In Martin Luther Kings "I have a dream speech," two things he dreams of equality and freedom. I believe that there is freedom and equality, but there will always be those ignorant people in the world. We honor his life by celebrating Martin Luther King's day as a Federal holiday.
Two specific things that Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of in his famous speech were equality in the present and freedom for his children and all future generations. "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'" This quote from his speech shows that he dreamed of an America in which all men were treated equally, regardless of race, religion, national origin, etc. In America today, people of all races are protected under federal law, though the personal opinions of some may go against these laws. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." This quote from his speech shows that he dreamed that equal rights would not only be provided now, but expanded upon and guaranteed for future generations. He also hoped that future generations would be judged not by their skin, but by what matters: your character, your heart, and your mind. Currently, stereotypes still play a strong role in judging people before you even meet them, but, over time, these stereotypes have lessened in intensity. We honor Martin Luther King Jr. today by designating the third Monday in January to be Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In addition, the Liberty Bell is gently tapped once on MLK Day, and there are a multitude of monuments, statues, and buildings dedicated to him, specifically the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington. D.C.
In Martin Luther King's "I have a dream speach,. He wanted people to apreciate blacks for their character, but not by the color of their skin. Yes, there is equality in our world today, but it does have it's flaws. For example, blacks still get treated unfarely, but not as much as it used to be. We honor him for aww he has done for us as citizens.
In Martin Luther Kings Jr.'s speech he dreamed of equality for colored people and he also dreamed for freedom. Today there is equality between people in my opinion and there is freedom. Although, there still will be racist people and people that discriminate. Those kind of people are the few that can create problems in society. We honor Martin Luther King Jr. with a holiday and a celebration in Washington D.C. Aaron Kovack 4-5
During Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of having freedom and equality during his speech. I believe that in a way his dreams have came to fruition. I also believe that there is plenty of equality in the world. We honor his life and speech by having a day where we celebrate his contributions to ending prejudice.
I think his speech is very important and inspiring. He made the point clear and nonviolent. I think we are equal but some people aren't. What I mean is that some people can be rude and racist. There has still been an improvement though and Martian L King was a big part in that.
In Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech, he dreamed of equality and freedom for all Americans, regardless of what they looked like. I believe that, to some extent, his dreams did come to fruition. Today, we are legally equal. There are no more "colored" water fountains or restrooms, and everyone is entitled to the same rights. In school, black and white children befriend each other every day. Even though there are still some racist people, the world has mostly accepted each other. We honor his life and speech by judging a person by there character, not ethnicity, gender, or religion. We also celebrate MLK Day on the third Monday of every January to remember him and what he stood for. Abby Tillema 4/5 period
Lauren Chidester 4-5 In his "I have a dream" speech, he explains that all he wants is freedom and equality for everyone in America. His dreams have not come true yet. In some parts of the world, there is equality, but sadly, most of America has to make emens for equality to truly happen. We honor him and his speech by doing what that speech states, to make freedom and equality everywhere on the Earth.
In his speech he talks about how he wishes that one day he will see all boys and girls of any color skin holding hands together. He also talks about how he dreams it will go from mountain to mountain. town to town, city to city, and state to state. Yes we do have equality in the world but it was not like that back then. We honor his life and his speech by having a very special holiday for it and by having a monument of him in a park at Washington, D.C.

Martin Luther King Jr. made a great and powerful speech that inspired the hearts of us all. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal"(King). He was an essential figure in the figurative was against segregation. Without him Jim Crow Laws would still be at large. We honor this great man by not forgetting about the monsters we used to be. Every year near his birthday of January 15 we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day in his honor. As you may remember I did my peanut character on him. That will prove as evidense of his beautiful effect on the U.S. and humanity as a whole.
In Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have A Dream" speech, he mentions two things: how he hopes that "one day, in the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will sit together at the table of brotherhood," and "I have a dream that one day, my children won't be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." By these two statements, he's saying that he wants both white and black people to be equal, and for them to not be seen by their skin color. Instead, he wants them to be seen by the way they act. While racism is still a problem in the world today, Mr. King's dream is coming true. While he isn't here to see it, the nation and even the world is working towards equal rights for all. For his great contribution towards ending racism, we honor him through a holiday and a memorial. Aidan Green 6th/7th period
In his famous speech "I Have A Dream" he mentioned two important things. He mentioned that he wanted all races to be equal and for a person to not be judged by race, but by the content of their character. He also said that he hopes ever state in the US will do this. The second thing I noticed is he said that he hopes one day slaves kids and slave owners kids could one day sit down at a table of brotherhood. He was hoping that they would stop looking at their skin and forget about the past. He wanted them to get along even though they hated each other in the past. We honor his life by having a national holiday and a memorial in Washington DC.
In Martin Luther King Jr's famous "I have a dream" speech tells us about all of his hopes and dreams for what he wants this country to be. Two of the many things he mentions are Freedom for everyone and equality for all races. He wants everyone to be free and luve the lived they were destin to live or just plain out the life they want to live. He thinks that we should have equality as well because it is wrong to separate people because of race, sex or anything regarding outward appearance. I believe that there is not equality in the world. I strongly believe that there isn't because of all the judgemental people in the world. For example, the wage gap between men and women. We have had a chance to mix it many times in the past but all those people that apparently still live in the 50's won't let it happen. It is not equal to women. We can honor his speech by listening to him and keep the movement going
In Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech, there was various different things expressed through his words. Martin wanted people not to be judged color of their skin, but by the content of their character. He wanted every state to adopt this principle. The second thing Martin wanted was white and black people to be able to bond and form friendships. Every year, we celebrate Martin Luther King Day on the third Monday of January.
Martin Luther King Day is a holiday that we celebrate on the 3rd Monday of January. In his "I Have a Dream" speech, he wanted the world to ring with freedom and that everyone could get along. His dreams have been inspirational to most people. His dreams have been followed today but still have room for improvement. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated at Memphis, Tennessee, on April 4, 1968.
Martin Luther King Jr. talked in his famous I have a dream speech about his visons for the future. These included freedom from the past and equality between race, gender, etc. I believe that in a way his dream has been fulfilled. In our world today we still have problems that can relate to racism and lack of equality. The presence of this may never fully disappear because of everyone's rights to their own beliefs. Since the speech, we have greatly improved on these types of issues. We honor this influential man's life by having a holiday dedicated to him as well as memorials. You can hear famous quotes from him around the country as well. Throughout his life he greatly impacted the country's views. Sydney King 4/5 Period
In Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream Speech" he mentions that he would want to see a day where black children would be able to be seen normal by the public if they played with white children since back many white families would allow their kids to be friends with black kids. Another thing that Martin Luther King Jr. dreams of seeing a is just for black people to have as many equal rights as white people do but even though his dreams did become true today tons of white people think of blacks as people who get in the way and all they do is commit crimes. So in itself this problem will probably never become fixed.
During the speech by Martin Luther King Jr. "I have a dream" he said he dreamed about equality and freedom. Yes there is equality in the world today for example the black and white kids go to the same school. There are some racist people in the world still but we are trying to change that. We celebrate him by having Martin Luther King Jr. day.
Martin Luther King Jr. is a very important person in American History. He helped America realize that equality is important. Two things Martin mentioned in his "I have a dream" speech are freedom and equality. With his help he made it that now we both have freedom and equality. Men, women, blacks, whites, and any other race is able to live freely and equally. We occasionally still have racial problems ,but we no longer have to go to separate schools, use separate bathrooms, or even drink from separate water fountains. Martin Luther King Jr. helped make America the place it is today.
Martin Luther King Jr. is a famous inspiration for people worldwide. When King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech, he mentioned freedom and equal rights. King wanted equality for all. He could see past peoples differences. Something that society struggles with today. He was determined to end segregation. He wanted to join blacks, whites, and all other races. He wanted peace in our world. For that, he had been arrested 30 times between 1955 and 1965. He had a house of his blown to pieces by a bomb meant to kill him. King was then assassinated on April 4th, 1968 by James Earl Jones. To this day, his dreams, hopes, and memories live on. We remember him on the third Monday of January as a federal holiday in memory of his beliefs and actions.
Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have a Dream" speech was the most popular speech of his. Two of the dreams Martin talked about was freedom and equality. He wanted equality the most because the black race was discriminated by the white race. He wanted everyone to be friendly to eachother even blacks and whites. He held nonviolent protests which he believed was the best thing to do, which it was. No matter what happened he made sure there was nonviolence, even when the whore police would make it violent. Martin Luther King Jr. was probably the most important man in the civil rights movement. Because of him whites and blacks can eat together and go to school together. Zach Anderson 6/7th period
In Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a dream" speech, he wishes for multiple things. He wants to create justice in the world. Two of his most important dreams were freedom and equality. In today's life, we are able to sit next to blacks in church and play sports with them. They are no different than any other person or race. This is what Martin Luther King jr wanted to stand for. We honor him by taking a day off from school and remember what all he has done.
In Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech, there was various things expressed through his words. He wanted equality the most because the black race was discriminated by the white race. His goal was for everyone to treat each other how they wanted to be treated. Although both races didn't like that idea that was his goal and he had a dream. Today he is witnessing his dream. Now all races have come together somewhat. Schools have now integrated and so have churches. Bryson Flowers 1/2
In Martin Luthers speech he was trying to get everyone on the same page and for everyone to respect each other equally... He wanted blacks to be treated equally as whites and for there to be no discrimination. Although some of the races disagreed with this and became furious he kept his courage throughout and for the most part acomplished his dream.. In sports we can now intergrate. And there are many black players that have became superstars or legends. Thank you Martin Luther.
In the speech that MLK gives, he dreams that his children would not have to be judged for the color of their skin and also for there to be equality. Today, there is equality for some things; they are able to use public restrooms, sit in public facilities with the whites and be able to perform the same jobs as whites. However, they are still looked down on for things they have no control of; such as their skin. If my mother is not busy at work, with funerals, she gets the day off and we spend it together as a family.
One of the things he talked about the most in his famous speech was freedom and equality. He wanted the blacks to become one with all people, and that we wouldn't be judged by the color of our skin, but by the way of our character. Not all of Dr. Kings dreams came true, but some of them did like with the blacks being equal that came true. Yeah in some places in the world, but not all places. We honor him by celebrating him, and what he did for our world. All the schools are closed, and some study about him on this day, and he is also remembered as the most influential leader in the Civil Rights movement.
Two things that Martin Luther King spoke of in his "I Have A Dream" speech included freedom and equality. He wanted people to treat one another equally, regardless of skin color. Today, everyone is legally equal. There are no "Colored" and "White" facilities. Among people, however, there are still prejudices, but it isn't nearly as severe as it was back in the sixties. Every year, we honor Dr. King with a national holiday. We also tap the Liberty Bell on Martin Luther King Day in honor of him as requested by his wife.
one of the most famous speeches he gave was the freedom and equality speech. He wanted the black people to join and become one with ever one, he didn't want ppl to judge others for there color. We honor him be closing stuff down and studying about him.
Martin Luther Kings speech was very important to everybody. Two things he dreamed of was equality and freedom.I believe today there is still no equality in the world yet. It is still much better than it was a long time ago. There are still very racist and mean people in the world today. Back then there where slaves so that was much worst. MLK is honored a lot for his speech. There is one day of one year taken up for him .We mostly remember his I Have A Dream Speech. That was his most famous speech. We also honor him for getting people to not be racist.
Two core principles that Martin Luther King strived for was equal rights and liberty. He wanted racial relations to come to a complete peaceful outcome. This also goes with liberty. He wanted people all who had equal rights, to have rights. His dreams, of course, have become realities in many respects. Mainly, when he brings up race relations, this involves the civil rights movement of the 60s and how blacks were treated fowler to whites. This has come to a complete halt. And what I find to be one of the greater contributors to this is the internet. When some despicable crime that a police officer does to a black man due to racial reasons happens, instead of it possibly disregarded for a second in a news report, someone can use a phone to record it, upload it on the internet, and an uproar happens. The same exact thing goes for liberty. There is not equality in the world, but there is a good and bad inequality. A good inequality is the capitalist system where someone who works hard is not equal, but greater, in value to a person who puts less of an effort. A bad inequality is one where the inequality roots from racism, sexism, and all of the other kinds of cultural discrimination. We honor him by accolades, statues, naming him after things, bring him up in discussion, making a biography about him, and making a national holiday for him posthumously.
Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of peace and equality for those of black and white people. Black people are treated better than they were. There are no more white only signs in public places. Though there is definitely not equality in this world, especially when it comes to woman's rights. We honor his life and speech by celebrating his holiday across the nation. We honor him by praising him for his confidence and for his passion.
Every third Monday of January, we honor him for his hard work as he rests in peace. janissa hayes 1/2
This is a holiday to celebrate a man who didn’t think of himslef and fight for all kinds of people who are at a disadvantage due to ther skin color or there eyes or the way they talk and beloved violence was bad
Martin Luther King Jr. Is an important figure, because he made the speech "I Have a Dream." He was arguing that black and whites dont have the same rights. He wanted everyone to have the same rights. He knew it was unfair in what was going on. So he decided to take action and make a speech. He went in front of the Lincoln monument, and preached his speech. He had no regrets after he said this. Even to this day he had changed blacks rights. Aubrey Harrison 6/7
Martin Luther King Jr. "I have a Dream" speech he said that he wanted freedom and equality for everyone. But, his speech doesn't seem that important anymore because both of those things are still gong on today. One day hopefully his wishes will come true where all the hate is gone. But we should all take his example and help his wish come true. We will honor his very hard work forever for trying to get peace with everyone instead of keep low and not speaking up for the right thing. Lili Taylor 6-7 period
In his most Famous speech MLK speaks about equal rights for the black community and how he wants us all to live together in peace and love. His dreams have come a long way and yes we do have equality and have learned to live together in a better light. As a community and people we still have a long way to go to see that MLKs dreams come to fruition. To celebrate him we have black history month and MLK day. Black history month isn’t just for him it is for all of the historic future changing abolitionist.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a very important person in history. He was an African-American man and stood up for what was right. He was a priest when he was very young and then grew up to make a speech in front of tons of people. In his speech he stated how we should all have freedom and equality. This was when segregation kept Africans from being with Americans and we’re not very kind. He has shaped America today and many should be thankful for it. His speech brought equality and freedom for many. We honor him by taking a day off of school, some may get off work, just to remember him and all he did.
Martin Luther king *I have a dream* speech in said speech he wanted equal rights to make sure that he and the rest of the people who get put down but it as most of the problems.in the world they all come back sooner then later theres all was going to vileness in the world but he had a dream
In Martin Luther king I have a dream speech he points out a lot of really good points. And one of them is that someday everyone would get along and be able to be around each other. And we as people now and days do get along most of us but not all and there is still and always will be room for improvement. But I do believe that everyone has came along way from back then. And we honor Martin Luther king by having a national day to celebrate what his speech and his message was and that everyone will get along. And he has made a big impact on the world today.
In Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a Dream" speech he said he could dream for his children to be appreciated for who they were and not the color of their skin, this is equality. He also wanted freedom to anybody or any thing that may be treated like he was, he didn't want that uprising to ever happen again. Martin Luther is the main reason why we have the civil rights so his dream did come true but not fully. Today still some people put whites above everyone else saying they are dominate. Today we appreciate Martin Luther King Jr. by celebrating the third Monday of January each year to honor him, thanking him for what he has done for this country.
There are two very important points made in Dr. Martin Luther King’s speech. The first was that him and his people were treated unconstitutionally, or going against what is said in the constitution. He quotes the article, saying, “ we hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal.” This statement was not executed because of segregation. He also said that he wants peace on earth and freedom for all. He says, “I have dream that one day little black boys and girls and little white boys and girls will join hands together.” He is saying that he wants everyone to get along and be equal.
I believe that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a lot of points and great statements, but an important one is wanting equality for everyone. He said this by stating “...negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of Freedom and Equality” If he didn’t want it back then, I don’t know what kind of state this country would be in right now. He actually stood up, with others behind him, and actually made an amazing change in the world. Another one of his amazing statements and standpoints is that he actually believes in what he said. He backs up everything he says with the constitution showing that what he said was right. He had a dream, and he was a pushing force that made it happen.
Two things he dreamed for was for equality and freedom. His dreams kinda came to fruition. There is equality in the world but, only a few people actually goes along with it some people are still racist to this day. We honor his life and his speech by having Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Two things Martin Luther King wished for were freedom and equality. King believed that people should live together in peace without racism. He wished that Blacks and Whites could live without segregation. He wanted every race to have the same rights and to be treated equally. Martin Luther king jr gave his famous I gave a dream speech before he passed away. Everyone has heard his speech once or twice before.
When it seems like our country is in horrible condition our country finds a way to be united and not divided by the color of someone's skin. His dream that everyone should have the same opportunities came true as people that have black skin can have the same power as someone with white skin.
In Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech, he dreamed of equality and freedom for all Americans, regardless of what they looked like. I believe that, to some extent, his dreams did come to fruition.

Every third Monday of January, we honor him for his hard work as he rests in peace. janissa hayes 1/2

Two things he dreamed for was for equality and freedom. His dreams kinda came to fruition. There is equality in the world but, only a few people actually goes along with it some people are still racist to this day. We honor his life and his speech by having Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
