I think that the holocaust was a very bad thing. The Jews were all sent to concentration camps. There they would be gasses, cooked, or shot. Hitler was the leader of it all. He killed over 6 MILLIOM Jews. It was the worst thing that has ever happened on earth. If you do to Alchwits you can still see the small pieces of bones. From all of the people that were gassed, shot, or cooked. They said if you went there today, and you plug in one of thae gas rooms. That it cold start gassing people tomorow. When Hitler first started he was taking over. No one could stop him it seemed liked. He would take over coutry over coutry until one day D-day when the american soldiers came and tired to stop him but at the end Hitler killed himself so he wouldn't be captured. That Hitler wanted more power then he could handle. They all are pretty much the same to me, they all have good facts and pictures.

He can put stuff together and explain things well anough for all of us to understand. One reason its different because its made and explained by a 8th grader. The holocaust was a bad thing because there was a lot of people killed in it and hitler is to blame. the people where cooked or gased in gas chambers.If you go to alchwits the dirt is black from where the people where burned and there is bits of bone in the soil from where the people died from sickness or from the gasing.
The pictures in this video are very disturbing. I don't think that many people really understand how terrible the Holocaust really was. When they think about World War II, they don't have those pictures in their minds. There wasn't media reporting all those times and pictures.
A few weeks ago, I went to see a movie with Tom Cruise called-Valkyrie. It was a great movie about Cruise being a German high officer that was close to Hitler. He got into a group of men that knew that what Hitler was doing was tragic. They tried to form a group of officers that would try to kill Hitler and stop the Holocaust. They didn't succeed, but they tried. I think that because of them, they scared Hitler enough that he knew that his life was always on the line.
The person making this video does depict some things in the true Holocaust. We do know that there were so many other horrifying events that happened. The overall message of this video is to show awareness. There are so many people that try to forget some things. This way, by looking at videos it helps people to remember things in the past that maybe kids our age might not know about. I think it was a pretty good video.

The video was more of a timeline of the holocaust and focused mainly on Hitler and his association with the Holocaust. The video was also not consistent with the images of Hitler. When did Hitler get earrings? The Holocaust was such a horrible event that the horror could only be depicted by a survivor of the Holocaust. The main message conveyed by the music and pictures is that Hitler was the main cause of the Holocaust. It is very different from other studies because it was not a boring documentary; the movie had transition between pictures and rock music throughout. Yes this student succeeds in the making of this movie. The message is conveyed in the picture and music is a selection for this passage. The reason it would be good for this passage is because the song is kind of a sad song if you thunk about and it can also be a song just to listen to. I do not believe the 8th grader succeeded in showing horror of the holocaust. He showed many of the same pictures which wouldn’t bother if he had some more facts. The facts were very limited and I felt distant from what person was trying to say. Not that I didn’t feel that the pain and suffering of the jews and fellow minority groups it just didn’t really have a message just a lot of pictures. Another factor contributing to my dislike of the video is the song, it didn’t fit very well. The song itself is good but it didn’t fit the time period. I am not asking for classical German music just something that fits the video better. I suppose a more down beat song that speaks of hatred for racism or fascism would have worked but I down beat song in general would have been fine. But concerning the photos of the video, the work as to showing how horrible, dreadful, and wrong the Holocaust was but after seeing them at least 4-6 over and over again you get the message and then just more that isn’t completely necessary. You feel like the student had to meet a certain time limit so the put the same pictures in to fill up time.
The way the project was different was definitely different because it was done by a person our age. And because of that it had its pros and cons but overall I believe that the pictures convey (for the most part) the fear of the Jewish people.

Well the Hlocaust was a very devistating event for a lot of people, and it wasn't very long ago which scares me. The 8th grader who made this video definitely succeeded on depicting the horror of the Holocaust. That is my opinion even though I cry at everything. This 8th grader shows horrid pictures of the vitims and of Hitler and his resentful hatred. The music explained a lot too. It was depressing just like the rest of the movie. Depression, if i had one word for this movie, it would have to be depression. Other studies dont quite express what this movie has displayed. He shows us through his video what happened inside the gas chambers and what happened in a death camp. The overall message conveyed in this video tells about the goings on inside Auschwitz. They said that you could see small pieces of bone inside the dirt. The people that suffered in that death camp were gassed, shot, cooked, and anything else horrible that you can think of under the sun. They said that the gassing chambers were also still in tact and that if plugged in they could start gassing people tomorrow. :(
I don't think the video was a very good video in the fact that it had very little info and alot of hitler pictures. Personally I don't care for his choice of song because he used a punk rock song that conveys a completely different message, were as had he used Soldier's Song by System of A Down he would have gotten the point acrossed better. Although his choice of music was poor he did have a lot of accurate pictures with the exception of the EMO hitler picture which is some emo kid dressed as Hitler; Its a fake. What really makes it different is that it lacks in info but epicly fails when it tries to make up for that with a hard rock song and a ton of pictures of hitler. Over all it was OK because that was a good song and I need to take ito account that not everyone is a walking encyclopedia like me. LOL ROFL :D

This is different because it was made by a student in our grade. Maybe not in the same school but the same grade. Indeed he does succeed in the depiction of the brutality of the holocaust as it was a horrific thing. The meaning behind this video was well stated at the end yet i felt more aurating from it, i felt a "never give up hope" vibe from this video. That Hitler wanted more power then he could handle. They all are pretty much the same to me, they all have good facts and pictures.
He does succeed. The message was that the Jews were killed just because there Jews that they will do something to them if they didn't do anything fast so they took all the Jews and gassed them, burn them ,or even shoot them to fall in a hole in the ground.
i Think personally the music and the pictures where put together very well. Like you can see what other students feel about the video because he's in the 8th grade as well as all of us. He can put stuff together and explain things well anough for all of us to understand. One reason its different because its made and explained by a 8th grader. Also This video is different because it did not go as in depth on other videos that I have seen, but it got his message across.

The pictures in this video are very disturbing. I don't think that many people really understand how terrible the Holocaust really was. When they think about World War II, they don't have those pictures in their minds. There wasn't media reporting all those times and pictures.
A few weeks ago, I went to see a movie with Tom Cruise called-Valkyrie. It was a great movie about Cruise being a German high officer that was close to Hitler. He got into a group of men that knew that what Hitler was doing was tragic. They tried to form a group of officers that would try to kill Hitler and stop the Holocaust. They didn't succeed, but they tried. I think that because of them, they scared Hitler enough that he knew that his life was always on the line.
The person making this video does depict some things in the true Holocaust. We do know that there were so many other horrifying events that happened.
The overall message of this video is to show awareness. There are so many people that try to forget some things. This way, by looking at videos it helps people to remember things in the past that maybe kids our age might not know about. I think it was a pretty good video.

I think this eighth grader did a very good job with this project. He picked great pictures and meaningful music.
The overall message is that the Holocaust was one of the worst times in history, because Adolf Hitler killed over 6 million innocent people, just because they were a different religion. He gassed and burned them, and I would have been so scared if I were Jewish. This is so wrong, because we are all people, and we all live on one Earth. We have to learn to get along with each other, without killing.
Other videos had more detail and information, but this student is only in the eighth grade, like us, but he still did an amazing job.

In China, my teacher tell us about the history of ancient China, we also had the Holocaust. I think these are unnecessary. I can't understand what was those people's thinking, but I think they are very selfish.The students produced such films, the purpose is to allow our younger generation can understand some things, recognizing that the cruelty of the Holocaust. Do not want to let these things in our lives once again repeat itself.This video is different because it did not go as indepth as some other videos that I have seen, but I have been a lot of information.

The video made by an 8th grader did not succeed in depicting the horror of the Holocaust. The video was more of a timeline of the holocaust and focused mainly on Hitler and his association with the Holocaust. The video was also not consistent with the images of Hitler. When did Hitler get earrings? The Holocaust was such a horrible event that the horror could only be depicted by a survivor of the Holocaust. The main message conveyed by the music and pictures is that Hitler was the main cause of the Holocaust. It is very different from other studies because it was not a boring documentary; the movie had transition between pictures and rock music throughout. These effects made the movie very eye catching as well as interesting.

Yes this student succeeds in the making of this movie. The message is conveyed in the picture and music is a selection for this passage. The reason it would be good for this passage is because the song is kind of a sad song if you thunk about and it can also be a song just to listen to. This is differet from other studies that I have done. The reason it is different is because all of the pictures are in black and white.

The scariest picture was the one where half of Hitler's face was covered by his hair(all of the pictures of Hitler are scary). Some of them are just sick to look at. The overall message is it was bad and not to let it happen again. I think the music was well picked. Other studies were not as up front as this one was.

I do not believe the 8th grader succeeded in showing horror of the holocaust. He showed many of the same pictures which wouldn’t bother if he had some more facts. The facts were very limited and I felt distant from what person was trying to say. Not that I didn’t feel that the pain and suffering of the jews and fellow minority groups it just didn’t really have a message just a lot of pictures. Another factor contributing to my dislike of the video is the song, it didn’t fit very well. The song itself is good but it didn’t fit the time period. I am not asking for classical German music just something that fits the video better. I suppose a more down beat song that speaks of hatred for racism or fascism would have worked but I down beat song in general would have been fine. But concerning the photos of the video, the work as to showing how horrible, dreadful, and wrong the Holocaust was but after seeing them at least 4-6 over and over again you get the message and then just more that isn’t completely necessary. You feel like the student had to meet a certain time limit so the put the same pictures in to fill up time.
The way the project was different was definitely different because it was done by a person our age. And because of that it had its pros and cons but overall I believe that the pictures convey (for the most part) the fear of the Jewish people.

Well the Hlocaust was a very devistating event for a lot of people, and it wasn't very long ago which scares me. The 8th grader who made this video definitely succeeded on depicting the horror of the Holocaust. That is my opinion even though I cry at everything. This 8th grader shows horrid pictures of the vitims and of Hitler and his resentful hatred. The music explained a lot too. It was depressing just like the rest of the movie. This study is different from other studies I have seen because it wasn't complex, but it still showed and explained the Holocaust.

Truthfully I could have done a powerpoint like that in fifth grade. But, that aside, he got some of his point across with the pictures but like I said, it could have been a lot better. The sound quality wasn't the greatest so it was hard to understand the music.

Hitler, who was the dictator, had German soldiers kill all the Jews in Europe. It was the worst thing that has ever happened on earth. If you do to Alchwits you can still see the small pieces of bones. From all of the people that were gassed, shot, or cooked. They said if you went there today, and you plug in one of thae gas rooms. That it cold start gassing people tomorow.

The pictures were shown to reveal the horrors and unjusticeness(if that's even a word) of the Holocaust. How is this different from the other studies that you have seen? Yes, he does a good job examplifing what happened during the holocaust. Depression, if i had one word for this movie, it would have to be depression. Other studies dont quite express what this movie has displayed. This movie gives you a feel of what the holocaust felt like, a taste of a reality, or a touch of mental focus if you will.

Yes the 8th grader who made this video does succeed in depicting the Holocaust. He shows the destruction of what used to be a major death camp and concentration camp. He shows us through his video what happened inside the gas chambers and what happened in a death camp. The overall message conveyed in this video tells about the goings on inside Auschwitz. They said that you could see small pieces of bone inside the dirt. The people that suffered in that death camp were gassed, shot, cooked, and anything else horrible that you can think of under the sun. They said that the gassing chambers were also still in tact and that if plugged in they could start gassing people tomorrow. :(

I don't think the video was a very good video in the fact that it had very little info and alot of hitler pictures. Personally I don't care for his choice of song because he used a punk rock song that conveys a completely different message, were as had he used Soldier's Song by System of A Down he would have gotten the point acrossed better. Although his choice of music was poor he did have a lot of accurate pictures with the exception of the EMO hitler picture which is some emo kid dressed as Hitler; Its a fake. What really makes it different is that it lacks in info but epicly fails when it tries to make up for that with a hard rock song and a ton of pictures of hitler. Over all it was OK because that was a good song and I need to take ito account that not everyone is a walking encyclopedia like me. LOL ROFL :D

He does succeed. The Holocaust was terrible and an evil event in the world. The message was to show that the Holocaust was horrible..I mean, trying to exterminate the Jews? That's not right... This is different because it was made by a student in our grade. Maybe not in the same school but the same grade. Seeing that through another 8th grader's eyes, that makes it feel more than just a lesson.
