I trully have trouble deciding the greatest recording artist ever. Between the Beatles, Queen, and AC/DC; I have trouble deciding. As far as number of albums sold, the Beatles would take number one. That and almost every band is compared and contrasted to the Beatles. They also had the most number one hits.
As far as lyrics go, Queen is argueably the best. There songs are either easy to remember or there lyrics are just plain good. For example, there are those songs that you hear at every football game or other magor sports event. These include, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust, and Under Pressure. Then there are those songs that are more difficult to remember such as Bohemian Rhapsody. If you have never heard this song, you should listen to it. This was the first song Queen had ever wrote and it made number one on the pop charts. It is a trully unique song. It changes tempos at least five times through out the song. First it sounds like a constant note. Then soft rock. Then opra. Next hard rock. Then back to soft rock. To somone who has never heard the song, they might think they were listening to five different songs instead of one. What Queen was trying to do in the song Bohemian Rhapsody was to make fun of opra. In fact the album was called "Night at the Opra". But Queen was definatly a great band.

I beleive that the greatest recording artist of all time is either 3 Days Grace or Tokio Hotel (yes its spelled Tokio not Tokyo). Their music is wonderful and both bands have millions of fans. Tokio Hotel is newer to America so not many know about them, but their music isn't just a bunch of screaming and loud instruments, its actually about something. Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz writes the bands songs himself and bases most of them on issues that many people experience.

I trully have trouble deciding the greatest recording artist ever. Between the Beatles, Queen, and AC/DC; I have trouble deciding. As far as number of albums sold, the Beatles would take number one. That and almost every band is compared and contrasted to the Beatles. They also had the most number one hits.
As far as lyrics go, Queen is argueably the best. There songs are either easy to remember or there lyrics are just plain good. For example, there are those songs that you hear at every football game or other magor sports event. These include, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust, and Under Pressure. Then there are those songs that are more difficult to remember such as Bohemian Rhapsody. If you have never heard this song, you should listen to it. This was the first song Queen had ever wrote and it made number one on the pop charts. It is a trully unique song. It changes tempos at least five times through out the song. First it sounds like a constant note. Then soft rock. Then opra. Next hard rock. Then back to soft rock. To somone who has never heard the song, they might think they were listening to five different songs instead of one. What Queen was trying to do in the song Bohemian Rhapsody was to make fun of opra. In fact the album was called "Night at the Opra". But Queen was definatly a great band.
Finally there is AC/DC. If you ever go to a football game and don't hear at least one song by AC/DC, you let me know. Theyt are probably the most popular band from the seventies, eighties, and ninties. In fact they have recently come out with a new album. One of there best songs would have to be TNT. And they have many others. But I still can't decide on which band is my favorite.

From 1963 all the way to 1970 the Beatles were the band you wanted to be or somehow be a part off. They were a craze across both sides of the Atlantic that have never and probably will never be matched. Aside from their music career together they had incredible careers outside the Beatles. Paul with Wings and his own solo recordings, John with The Plastic Ono Band, George with a solo career as well as starting Handmade Films (Time Bandits, Life of Brian, and Mona Lisa, for exp,) and even Ringo has a successful solo career and a Bonds girl for a wife.

Plus, every person that I know is fond of The Beatles. My dad is a huge fan of The Beatles and they are his favorite band. For Christmas my father got me a big poster of The Beatles to hang up in my room, since I like them also. Although I believe The Beatles are the best recording artists of all time, they are not my favorite band. My favorite band however, is Simple Plan. They are a Canadian Alternative-Punk band from Quebec. The band’s first album came out in 2002. Before the formation of Simple Plan lead singer Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau, were in a band with others in highschool called Reset. Bouvier and Comeau left the band to go to college and met up with friends Jeff Stinco and Sebastion Lefebvre (yes that’s how you spell it) to form Simple Plan in 2002. Since then the band has released two other albums.

One of the greatest bands out there is Avenged Seven Fold. They have the most genius music and they rock hard! In this band, there is no weak link. They have perhaps the best guitar player ever and the singer has the coolest voice I have ever heard. In 2006, they won the best newcomers award. They also reached 30 on the billboard's top 200. One of their hit singles, Bat Country, went up into the top ten. My favorite song written by them is a song called Afterlife. And also to prove my argument...because I said so! ;) I wrote ths sentence because I only had 99 words.

My friends and I always sing their songs and make videos and stuff because their songs just have that effect that make you wanna act crazy and have fun. They may not have lasted very long but their music was really good. I syill listen to some of their music now and then when I feel like being crazy. They have sold alot of albums as well. And there single, Wanna be, was great. All in all, I pretty much just think they are the greatest because I love that song. On the other hand, they are really good artists as well.
