I think that being on-line can enhance learning because you can look up just about anything on the Internet. You can go to other countries, you can read books, you can listen to music, you can shop, and the list goes on and on. You can do all of these things without ever leaving your house. Some people even have jobs on-line and work in their pajamas! I think that schools today are pretty much the same way that they were years and years ago. Everyone sits in their seat and studies from the same textbooks page by page everyday. If advanced technology were in classrooms, instead of studying a foreign language from a book, you would actually be on-line and in a classroom with a teacher from the country you were studying about. You could virually be in the classroom with her/him and travel through the country to see the sights as they actually are. The same could be true with the use of cell phones. You could actually speak to or text people from other places and countries to learn from them. Also, you could put books on iPods and students could listen to the books that they chose instead of everyone studying the same thing at the same time. This virtual classroom format could be used in all subjects and all testing could be done on the computer, which would eliminate the use of paper.

I think that the internet affects the way that students learn greatly. Since we have so much technology, we crave more of it and we constantly need to be using it. This causes tension among students and teachers because we are not allowed to use certain types of technology in school and teachers get upset when we constantly use those types of technology. I would design a classroom like the distance learning lab is set up. (Without the chairs on wheels because those are distracting.) In that classroom everyone could bring a laptop and we could use computers during all of the lessons.

I think that being on-line is a great thing. There is so many place you can go and learn about new things and see thing you already know. You can find al kinds of thing on-line like music, movies, you can shop, and theirs even more. Some people even work on-line that what i think my brother will do just work at home. I would design a room wwith labtops where you could get on any web site you wanted and you would be alound to have cell phones. Also we would have to have translaters so we could talk to people al over the world. The cell phones would only be used for internet use, calculators, and some have many more things that are useful in school.

i think online life helps people learn about the day to day stuff that goes on. you can also connect with people across the world. if i could design a class room i would have enough computers for everyone and we would be able to use our cell phones or e-mail instead of asking questions by raising our hands so that it wouldn't be as loud for people who need quiet to work.

I think that school is pretty boring most of the time. We only have a few classes that we are able to use technology. Even if we use it, we don't have a lot of time because there are so many students in our school. We mostly just do paper and pencil assignments. Even if we do projects we don't always get to show them to everyone.

The classroom that I would like, is really interactive. We could talk, ask more questions, and do projects together. Something that usually makes me upset, is if I am put into a group and the other students dont help with the work. If they make mistakes, then the whole group gets a bad grade for it.

I think that we should be allowed to use the interet more often. I also think that we could use interactive boards and computer programs. A lot of times we are kicked off the computer after we have done a lot of work. It gets pretty frustrating. I hope that teachers will use technology more.

I do believe that on-line life can enhance your learning. This is because if you don't know something you can just simply go to a search engine, type your question, and have thousands of different answers. If I were to design a class room, I'd make everything interactive. I would let everyone use ipods and cell phones. This way when having work assignments you can use the ipod to help consentrate, or maybe record a poem , stick it on your ipod and remember it. Cell phones would be an excellent thing to use towards learning. I think that everyone should be given a computer it would save the enviroment by eliminating the use of paper.

The kind of classroom I would create would be an orange and black room that is about size of Wal-Mart. The reason I would have such a big room is because I will have a lot of computers and students. Also the classroom will have a big area just for a radio station. The kind of music the music station would probably play rap, rock and roll. This classroom would be called The Rocking Ramah. Also this classroom will have separate rooms for people that can’t work other people.

I have learned so much from the internet. I would be lost without it because I need it for the news and current events. My on-line life enhance my school work and the amount of research I can put into it. With internet acess, you have the whole world right in front of you. Many of my classes are boring and the teachers don't use the internet to enhance any subject. Thus, making i very difficult for the students to relate it to real life. I think we would benifit from a computer class at our school, or maybe even a class that involves only a computer.I realy don't believe in bringing cell phones into our education because they are a very big distraction and most students can't handle a rolley chair, let alone a cell phone.

Being online can really expand what we can learn about. There is so much on the internet that it is really useful. Technology makes everything so much easier. If we had technology in classrooms we could expand what we can learn about and have very few limits. I think that if we put aside the books, pencil and paper for awhile and use the internet it would be more interactive which most kids need and it's way better than looking in a book. I think if I was a teacher i wouldn;t use books i would use computers, I would have a virtual classroom. If we put away the books we can actually learn useful things that we will need in our future, like choosing what we need and can learn about.

I think that online life can enhance our learning environment. If we replace textbooks with computers, it would make our life easier, less stressful, and more efficient. If I created a good classroom environment it would include a laptop for every student. The students could text whenever thay want as long as the teacher isn't talking. Ipods would be allowed because for some students it keeps them more focused on working instead of talking to friends. With the crazy rules we have in our school, they are keeping us away from new technologies instead of promoting them.

I think being online can enhance your learning environment. Most jobs today have to do with some type of technology; whether it's large car-making machine or small cash registers. If my momma went back to work doing medical coding, she could be working from home with the help of technology. If I could create a classroom, everyone would have a laptop. The kids should be able to use their cell phones but only for certain things. I think technology is great, but it harms some things such as writing a letter, using correct spelling, and using correct grammar.

I believe that being online can enhance your learning environment. When you are online, you can find anything. With encyclopedias, you have to have about one hundred pounds worth of paper. These books are outdated, and many things have changed. With the internet, a laptop weighs one pound or less, and the information is updated daily. Lately, the world has been "going green", and having thousands of pieces of paper for just one set of encyclopedias is not exactly helping this issue.

My kind of classroom would have no books. Books can easily be put online, and you only have to make one copy. Why waste thousands of dollars for books, when you spend nothing if you put it online? Books are now outdated, and students find it boring to flip the pages of a history book. If you make an online interactive site, students would probably learn more, and they would have fun. Using books does not prepare us for the future. Technology is used daily, and books are plain out boring.

Allow students to use their cell phones, iPods, and laptops. They are comfortable with these items, and they will remember to take them home on a daily basis. Study podcasts can be created and put on these iPods to help students study. We should also allow online networking sites. Students would be able to communicate with ANYONE. You are limiting the abilities by banning these sites, and the possibilities are endless. I believe that if schools incorporated more technology into our everyday lives, we would accomplish more and actually enjoy school for once in our life.

The technology I would use is word because it's easy a it helps you to write better and spell correctly. Also I would use movie maker to give great presantations in class like a book report or peom as well.

Yes, I believe that my on-line life can enhance my learning life because of all the information it gives. If I could design a classroom that used technology, I would probably design a 'How to Use the Internet' or 'How to Speak in Text' class. I think it would help kids who can't understand what their friends type or text to them, or how to buy things or post something on the internet. I have a few friends who would probably sign up, and one is a computer whiz too!

Yes, your on-line life can indeed enhance your learning environment. There are many features that you can use on the computer rather than using paper. On the other hand, if you get too used to using abbreviations, these may show up in your essays involuntarily. As you can see, their are advantages and disadvantages to being on-line. For example, you cannot copy and paste or make power points easily on pencil and paper. A classroom that I would design today would include a wide variety of technology. I would allow students to get on You-Tube. You-Tube can show you very good instructions on how to design things such as pencil sharpeners or whatever else.

Yes, I definitely think my online life can enhance my learning environment. Online can connect syudents with teachers outside of school and can answer many questions. The classroom I would design would be pretty much all technological because I am all for recycling. Using computers instead of paper is a great idea. I would have a memeo instead of a chalkboard or dry erase board because it is less messy and more technological. Cell phones also is a great thing to have in a classroom.

I think that the enternet can truly enhance the learning environment. This blog is just one example of what you can do to learn on the enternet. The enternet is also where we do all of our research. I haven't seen an encyclopedia synce the fifth grade. I am beginning to wonder if they still make them.

If I designed a class room that was ideal for todays technology it would be perfect. You would need walls that were not to thick so you could get cell phone signals, radio signals, and satalight signals. Then you would also need wireless enternet routers. With wireless enternet you could get enternet on lap tops, desk tops, cell phones, and some ipods. There also should be no blocks on the enternet so you could go to youtube. And there should be a recording study for things like podcast.

Your online life can greatly influence your learning experience in many ways. For example every time you send or receive an e-mail, an instant message, or a text message you are both reading and writing. Therefore, they have the ability to make you more literate. Secondly, you can meet pen pals online from different countries and learn some of their language and culture. If I were designing a classroom it would be much different from the other classes in the school. First of all I would allow students to have iPods or mp3 players in class because I strongly believe they help students concentrate on their work. Second of all I would want numerous computers in my classroom. Unlike the computers in my school I would not allow sites like YouTube to be blocked, because some videos on there have an educational value. I would also like there to be webcams in the room so we could maybe connect to a classroom from a foreign country and learn their language. I also think it would be very beneficial if each student had a laptop, it would give learning endless possibilities.

I would also let people have there cell phones out if we are aloud to use computers then we should also be aloud to use are phones.

I do believe that our on-life enhances your learning environment. I know this because if you don’t understand something or don’t know what a words means then you are able to simply look it up. The internet will give you many different explanations about the topic.
My class room that I would design would be all the twenty first century "know-how" there wouldn’t be any textbooks. Each individual desk would have its own computer with a power cord and an outlet in the leg of the desk. This way no computer will die out or people getting up to different places to find an outlet. All the textbooks would be online. There would be a lot of research projects. that way you are learning and be able to chat to your friends without talking out loud to bother anyone. Students would be permitted to use their electronic devices as well. This generation likes to listen to music while they work. This way every one is happy.

I think that being online is good for learning. There are many ways you can use the computer. They have games for learning. I know my techaer in eementry made us play them alot but they have different grade levels. Also if we use computer more than paper it will save the paper and we won't can save trees. Cells phones are another great device, some allow you to get internet, they have calculators and you can sends text in a learning way.

Your online life can enhance your learning if you are on educational things but with AIM and myspace you can mess up your writing skills by using abbreviations that are not correct in the english language. I would design a classroom that had a laptop for every student and they all new how to use everything on them. Everyday we would learn a new lesson on what we were doing in class by researching it on the internet and we would also use cellphones to bluetooth eachother information. We could text the teacher when we wanted to answer a question or ask one. Sometimes we wouldnt have to come to school because we could use our laptops at home.

On-line learning is a wonderful advantage for students. For example, phones are a wonderful way for students to communicate between themselves and teachers. Students can be more creative by using the tools of the internet. Something on-line that enhances learning is e mail and blogging. Blogging is one way that students and teachers can express their opinions towards a certain subject.

i think online life helps people learn about the day to day stuff that goes on. you can also connect with people across the world. if i could design a class room i would have enough labtops for everyone and we would be able to use our cell phones or e-mail instead of asking questions by raising our hands so that it wouldn't be as loud for people who need quiet to work.

Yor on-line life can enhance your learning environment because it enables you to look up information that you might not be able to find in books or other resources. When you are on-line you are just seconds away from an anwswer. All you have to do is type in what you or looking for and it will give you millions of results. I think school needs to incorporate a lot more technology. If we were to use laptops in school and do all of our assignments on there, we could save a bunch of paper. Also, it would make it easier on the teachers so all they would have to do it pull up the assignment and read it. We should also make recordings of the lessons in school and be able to put them on our iPods and mp3 players. This would help students not only in the class room but they could use the recordings as a study device. The number of possibilities can go on and on but it all depends on what society decides about technology in the classrooms in the future.

My outlook on the on-line life enhancing learning environment is that it would make you feel more at home. It would also keep you more entertained with the work your doing. As a student that is always tied up in the social networking websites such as; myspace, facebook, twitter, imeem, YouTube, aim, Friendster, xanga, and Skype. I’ve met people from all over the state and country. I met a person from California through twitter and we got to talking about school and how much technology we use here and how much they use there. They have laptops in every single classroom at their school with this program on the teachers computers where instead of having a smart board or meme’s; they just hook up to a projector and point it at a wall and you just tap the wall and it does what you tap. Also, they never get bored over in her school either because they’re allowed to have cell phones out in school.
My classroom would have a set of 40 laptops with a set of textbooks on a CD that they can download onto their computer. I would give them this because there is no use in making a student carrying backpacks to and from school that weigh 100 pounds. The only things our schools are helping us do by carrying those backpacks are giving us back problems faster. It would be so much easier if you would just pick up a laptop from your homeroom in the beginning of the day and then putting it back in your homeroom at the end of the day. MY classroom would also have cubby-holes for each student that way if they were writing an essay then they wouldn’t be able to copy someone else’s essay. I would also have everyone sign up to twitter and Skype. That way they could start talking to people from all over the world and prepare for the real world and the kind of jobs they will have. We would also do many hands-on activities because more students learn better that way than any other way.

I believe that technology can help kids with education. I believe this because technology has taken a big step in everyones life even if they are not using it in school. I thinkour school uses technology but not enough. We need to take advantage of all the technology that we have today. I would make a class of all technology and every student would have there on personal laptop and online books. This way the teachers wouldnt have to worry about buying books, and the students wouldnt have to worry about bringing there books. Also I would allow the students to have there cell phones out while they are working. They could also have there ipods out because when kids have there ipods in it helps them block things out and concentrate on what they are doing.
