Everyone wanted blacks, and whites to be sepperated, but he came between them and said tyhat we should all be judged equally, and not be seperated because of the colos of our skin. He is the main reason that blacks and whites can be seen together today and not get aomething said to them. It used to be like if you were black you werent aloud to be around white people. But he is the one that changed that, and that we can now be together.

His work, has made it able for us to live in harmony with all black, and mixed people, without discrimination. Because slavery is no longer a problem in the united states, and he is who we have to thank for it.
I think that MLK is an important historical figure because he transformed a nation. He showed that you can influence a way of life with peaceful protest. Martin Luther King was a huge part of our American history. Dr. King breached the color barrier in many different ways. He preached equality to black and white people alike, as if there were no difference in the two at all. Martin Luther not only taught but he acted through peaceful marches, boycotts, and civil rights rallies.
The types of contributions he made to the U.S.A. were astounding. He devoted the majority of his life to the equality of African Americans. He gave one of the most famous speeches in world history, right up there with the “Gettysburg Address” and other famous speeches.
If it were not for the actions of Dr. King the world as we know it today would be unimaginably different. Racism would hang heavy in the air and no one could stop the power of it. If a person such as Martin hadn’t come along and helped the cause there could be two separate worlds, blacks and whites.

It all started when he was a child and he used to play with his neighbor. Martin was black and his neighbor was white. One day, Martin went outside to play with his neighbor but his parents did not allow it because Martin was black. This made an impact on Martin’s life and he took a stand. We know that Dr. King was successful because today I can still be friends with African Americans. If it weren't for him and people such as Rosa parks, who stood up for herself by simply sitting in the front of a bus, I believe that there may have been a civil war between whites and blacks.
