During Thanksgiving, my parent gets a day off from their work. Also, my grandmother and grandfather will usually come to American two to a week before Thanksgiving and stay for half a year. Many times, during thanksgiving my family went to Pittsburgh to buy foods. And at night we will have a large table full of foods. All the family members will sit around the large table enjoy the foods and talk. I will consider the best was the dinner because foods are the best and plus, we can talk to all the family members. While my parent prepares the food, my sibling and me will play around until it's time to start the wonderful dinner. And we will be said “Thank you” to every member in the family. I will say that Thanksgiving is in my list of my favorite holiday.

During Thanksgiving, all of my family get together. My aunt and uncle come here from Arizona for a week or two. On the actual day of Thanksgiving i go to my Mamaw's house which is my dads side of the family for lunch. We have turkey and ham that my dad something smokes in his smoker or we get ravioli at Muriales, with is very delicious. For dinner i go to my Nana's house for my mom side of the family. We have homemade food that the recipes were made decades ago.The food is great but i all so get to hang out with my cousins too. I'm am very thankfully for everything i have with my family, friends, sports, and many more.

During thanksgiving me and my family members get together for dinner. And it is me, dad, mom, grandma, sister. And when we have thanksgiving dinner isn’t until about 4:00-5:00 and it the morning we wake up early and we go out to hunt for some deer. The best part of thanksgiving day is probably just spending time with my family and having fun. We also go out before or after dinner and we play a few games of basketball and pass football. And before dinner we also started a thing last year we’re me my dad and my sister have a competition to see who can shoot the bow the best.

We eat cranberry sauce, turkey, macaroni and cheese, cheese cake, apple crisp, pumpkin pie. The people who enjoy Thanksgiving with us are my brother and sisters, my aunts and my dad my mom. Before they get there me and my sister curl up on the couch and drink hot chocolate and watch the Thanksgiving parade, while my mom starts the cooking. She peeks in on us and watches some of the parade with us too.

Awe eat turkey, mash potatoes, gravy, rolls, green beans, corn, stuffing, and my grandma always makes the best iced tea. Me and My cousin always sit together and eat dinner. After dinner we always watch football and play with the dogs outside if it’s warmer. We also watch the dog show and parade. I never leave my house for thanksgiving because my family does not want to. We have everyone come down to my house. I enjoy all the food. I love having my family all there. Even though sometimes my sisters might fight we still have fun.

Usually my family comes over for Thanksgiving, but not this year! There’s some tea going on i’m my family that i’m not gonna get into at this moment. So, I usually sit in my room the whole time with my older sis and my cousin Emma, because the rest of my family is annoying. We eat Turkey, Stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, and a lot more. The best part of the day is playing board games with my cousins and my Uncle Shane!

On Thanksgiving, my family goes to my grandparents’ house for lunch. My grandma lets me help make pumpkin pie sometimes for lunch. I don’t always get to help though because my grandpa is kind of a control freak. They make so much food and we all get so fat. My aunt and her boyfriend usually come. We sit around the table and talk for a long time, even after we are done eating. My grandpa can’t hear that well so he always screams to talk. The best part of the day is eating lunch. The food is so good, I wish we could eat that good every single day! After lunch, we watch movies and play board games until it’s time to leave in the evening. If we have any time left at the end of the day, we start decorating for Christmas at my house.

My usual Thanksgiving day plans start with eating breakfast at my mom’s parents house and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. My favorite part about Thanksgiving is probably watching the broadway musical performances on TV during the parade. Then, we go over to my dad’s parents house for Thanksgiving dinner. My dad’s family is much bigger than my mom’s, so the house is always packed with people. My family members come in from places like New Jersey, New York, and Washington, d.c. I still have to sit at the kids table with my little cousins :( Later, we all eat dessert and my cousins and I put on a play or show of some sort just for fun.

It is really fun. We all get together and we talk about anything and everything. It is like one big get together. We usually eat turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin rolls and all kind of different things. I don’t usually have Thanksgiving at home. I actually have to Thanksgiving's, one at my Uncles house on my Dads side of the family, and one at my Aunts house on my Moms side of the Family. I eat with my cousins; we usually eat in a different room than the older people but we mostly focus on eating. The best part of the day would be the whole day in general but most likely the food. We participate in board game, helping cook, watching some kind of football game, sitting by the fireplace, running around, playing hide and seek, and just having general conversations with family members. What we eat on thnaksgiving is turkey, ham, rolls, cream cheese and butter corn, stuffing, beats, and brossel sprouts. Who eats with me my brother, my dad, my mom, My grandma, My other grandma, my uncle, my grandpa, my aunt, and my other aunt. Well since i lived in kansas before we didn't really have dinner with others except my madin family because they live in Pennslyvania. In my opinion the food and then we go play football with everyone that is willing to play. My family plays basketball, football, wiffle ball, and cornhole and then we go watch the thrusday night game on thanksgiving.

For Thanksgiving I normally go to my great Aunt Ruth’s house. Most of my family comes in from Ohio on my grandma’s side. For dinner we eat all the normal things like turkey and mashed potatoes. My whole family normally eats with us except for my uncles and grandpa because they like to watch the football games. We do not take a lot of time for dinner because my mom, great aunt, and I like to prepare for Black Friday. We start shopping right when stores open. The best part of my day is spending time with my family that I do not get to see every day. My family likes to play games and catch up on everything that they did not see on Facebook. My cousin Bryson (4 years old) likes to play Mario Kart but I hate playing because he always beats me.

For thanks giving my family celebrates by gathering together to eat food such as pecan sweet potato cake, turkey from my uncles farm, pretzel jello cake and much more. What we do to celebrate is we play Yahtzee and watch football together and cook in my grandmas big kitchen. Then we get ready for black Friday and head towards the Easton mall in Ohio and we then drive back and sing to songs and play road games. Some other things we do is play swords outside, ride skateboards, practice mountain biking on near by trails to my grandmas house and then we play football.

Thanksgiving at my house I think is the best because of the food and my family. NOW what my family does is we go over to my mom's side of the family up to aunt Caca's house and help her get ready for dinner. One of the best things about is it that family for everywhere come over to her house. Like my cousin, aunt, and uncle come in from New York and my other cousin comes from Philly with his with and son. We also have the best food and the best thing about it is if you want to help cook you are always allowed to. I also love all of the food, we have turkey, corn, potatoes, green beans, gravy, SO many desserts and lots of other food. Kids also get to get food first then the parents and I am so excited to see my family very soon.

On Thanksgiving my parents usually get off work and we alternate years to go to our grandparents in Dodridge county or our grandparents in Virginia. My mom works at a nursing home so some years she has to work so we travel before or after Thanksgiving Day. This year my Aunt and Uncle on my Mom’s side with their son are taking a vacation to Australia so I don’t know what we are doing this year as far as meeting family. This year we aren’t planning anything special, but sleeping in and having a relaxing day. When we do meet up with the grandparents in my mom’s side we usually go fishing or hunting on my grandpa’s farm.

For Thanksgiving my family does not do that much. Every other year my grandparents from my dads side, who are from Canada, do Thanksgiving with us. We go to our great grandmas house with my moms side of the family and have thanksgiving there. We always have very good food. Traditional Thanksgiving food, such as turkey, ham, stuffing, and mash potatoes, to include a few. We talk and go fishing at her pond. We also get some gifts from people. Some other distant family of mine sometimes come to visit also.We either have it at my great grandmas house, or my aunts house. Overall its a very fun day!

On thanks giving we either go to my aunt Rennes in Morgantown or to my aunt Paulas here in fairmont. This year we are going to my aunt Paula’s. The people that are eating there is year is my family and my aunt Paulas family. We will be eating turkey, stuffing, rolls, mac n cheese, and a lot more. The only thing I eat is the mac n cheese and rolls, I’m not a fan of thanks giving food. The best part of the day is seeing my family. On that day we eat and sometimes go to some of my other aunts houses and play games and visit with the people who came in.

I’m almost never home on thanksgiving. I go to one of my grandparents’ houses. We can never fit everyone at one table. Some people end up on the couch or in another room. We always pray and then go get our food and eat. The food is usually turkey and some people eat ham or chicken. We have mashed potatoes and vegetables and casseroles. The people who eat with us are me, one or both of my parents, some of my grandparents, my aunts, uncles, and cousins. We don’t really do anything else but eat and talk to to each other. The best part is seeing everyone and the food.

The holiday Thanksgiving is not very consistent with traditions, but most of our family is there to celebrate with us and spent time with our family. We are busy all year around. Normally we would eat turkey, mash potatoes, stuffing etc. Sometimes we go up to my aunt's house and have Thanksgiving there. We eat with most of our family and friends. The best part to the day is the food. We normally watch the parade and spend time together.

On Thanksgiving, I go down to Beckley. Both sides of my family love there. First we go and eat at my grandparents on my dads side. Here I just play with my cousins while all the adult ladies cook. It’s kind of a small gathering. It’s just my dads sister with her husband and two kids and my grandparents and us. We eat then we go to my moms sisters. It’s the complete opposite there. At my grandparents, no ones allowed in the kitchen except for the moms. At my aunts, everyone just goes and talks in the kitchen and everyone cooks. The girls are in charge of the cooking but usually someone forgot something and the guys have to run to Kroger’s and get it. At my aunts we do Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. So, on thanksgiving all the girls go Black Friday shopping after dinner and do all the shopping for Christmas last minute.

On Thanksgiving we usually have it at my house. We have turkey, stuffing, and some desert. But other families bring food to thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving we usually just watch football after we eat. The kids go upstairs to play and the adults just talk about recent events. And the grandparents tell their stories. I've got nothing else to tell so I guess that is that.

Usually my family has Thanksgiving at my grandmothers house. This year we decided to have Thanksgiving at our house. My parents always plan ahead, so they make all the food before the day of Thanksgiving. During this time my house is pretty chaotic. We have to make desserts and food which takes up the day. We also have to go to the store for drinks and utensils. On Thanksgiving day its just my parents, me, and my two sisters. Usually the food we eat is mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey, potato salad, and pie. Before we eat we always say what we've been grateful for, and what we could always improve on. We don't do activities because we're stuffed and tired from all the food we ate. The best part of Thanksgiving day was just to be able to eat and enjoy being together as a family.

What thanksgiving is like at my house is that we usually put up the Christmas tree by this time and that is what we did this year because we didn't have anything to do. This year we had a chicken and ham instead of turkey mashed potatoes and stuffing. This year we didn't go anywhere but last Saturday we went to my aunts house and my whole family got together and we had thanksgiving dinner then. The best part of the day was getting together with my family and getting to talk to them and people i haven't seen for a while. At the party we did some board games and played video games and watched the Clemsen game.

I went to my aunts this year but I usually go to my great grandmothers house before she dies of old age and eat there with my family besides my dad because he feels weird going to events on my moms side of the family. We eat ham and turkey with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, stuffing, bread rolls, and ofcourse desert of pumpkin pie with whipped cream(optional) and sometimes we have icecream afterwards. How work is and stuff. Last year when I went to my grandmas for Thanksgiving one of my cousins got back from the Navy and he came back with a leg. It was horrifying bc ive never seen anyone without a leg before so I was kinda weirded out.

Thanksgiving at my lovely home is very simple. My mother gets up at 8:00am and puts the turkey in the oven and begins cooking everything else. I help my mom cook after i clean the house. I offer to clean the house because i want it to look awesome when guests come over. After i clean though i help make the pies and whatever else my mother needs me to do. We usually have turkey, whisky glazed carrots, scones,(chocolate chip and pumpkin spice) stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pies! My favorite part of the day is when my family comes over. Although is was not the same because my great grandmother passed away last christmas so it was my first thanksgiving without her. I usually play cards against humanity with my cousins and their parents which i enjoy!

On thanksgiving, my family and I wake up early and begin to cook everything. We usually start our turkey at around 11am and let it slow cook in the oven for about 5 or 6 hours. While that is cooking we go to my grandmas house and eat there and talk for about an hour or 2. Than we come home check on the turkey chill for a bit than go to my other grand parents house. We usually just talk there because we ate at my other grandmas house. So after we leave there it’s around 4:30pm. So we come home and start making everything else mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, homemade Mac n cheese, rolls.
