Women & Children in the holocaust

How were Jewish women treated during the time of the Holocaust? How were their children treated? How did the roles of women change during World War II? How many women and children were killed during the war? Which countries had the worst treatment of women? Are there any places in the world where women are treated badly?

Women during the holocaust were treated worse then men because they were considered useless. Women were also raped and beaten in camps and ghettos. Children were considered useless as well during the holocaust. Children under the age of 12 would be killed by a gas chamber because they couldn’t work or would be experimented on. Women’s roles changed because they were considered useless and were forced into labor. 2.9 million women were killed and 1.5 million children were killed in the holocaust. In Auschwitz-Birkenau and Bergen-Belsen women were treated the worse. Some places where women are treated bad are Indonesia and Iraq.

They were sent to concentration camps, and some who weren't valuable to them were sent to death camps where they'd be burned to death. Depending on their age they'd also be sent to work at concentration camps, but if they were too young to work they would just as well be sent to a death camp. They began to gain power and step up in society because someone had to keep things running while the men were at war. One of the most known women in history during the time of WWII was Rosie (the Riveter). 1.6 million were killed during the war. The worst treatment of women was in Poland and Germany. Sadly, women are treated badly all the time. Almost everywhere, everyday, women are harassed and treated poorly. Although it's not nearly as extreme as the Holocaust, is still an issue in today's world. It has become normal. When you think about it though, it's actually next to nothing when you compare it to the 1940's.

In the Holocaust many women and children were treated horribly. Many children in the Holocaust died since they couldn't work for the Nazi's. The jobs of women in the war were some of the worse. Women in the war were beat and enslaved. Over 1.5 million Jewish children and women. Some women in the world are still treated this way. It is ultimately just sad.

During the Holocaust there were concentration camps and death camps. Jewish people that were captured were forced to go to one of these camps. Jewish woman were often seen as useless or weak so they were treated as trash and were treated worse than men. Many children during the Holocaust were sent to death camp or gassing chambers if they were seen as sick, under the age of 12, or if they were too weak to do physical labor. Children would also become lab experiments which would lead to them becoming deformed. The camps were cold and unsanitary so many people often got sick or diseases. Woman were treated the worse at the concentration camps in Germany and Poland. As to this day woman are still treated as objects or harassed. Of course it’s not as bad as the woman that were treated during the Holocaust.

The holocaust was bad all around for people everywhere, but women and children were by far treated the worst. Evil experiments were performed on children. These experiments caused death and for the children to become deformed. They could not work so children were also sentenced to death easier. They killed off the weak and sick that could not work so children were the obvious target. Women were also seen as useless and were treated just as bad. They were beat and tortured just because of their gender. I think that women off today are still discriminized because if their gender, but are obviously not treated as bad. The holocaust was a terrible time for everyone but I think children and women had the worst of it all.

Jewish women were treated extremely poorly during the Holocaust. They were either worked to death or sent straight to being killed. Unfortunately, children were treated the same way in the same awful conditions. The role of women changed during the war because they became viewed by men as completely useless. 2.9 women were killed and 1.5 children. Germany had the worst treatment of women. Today there are still several countries where women are still poorly treated. In some it’s still believed that women shouldn’t even have the right to receive education or drive a car, and they don’t.

Women were treated very poorly they would either get sent to the gas chamber or get worked to death, if they were pregnant some were forced to get an abortion. Children didn’t have an option really to do anything. They were starved to death, if they weren't old enough they would get sent to the gas chamber, and they were treated very poorly. During WW|| women were considered useless and forced into labor. 2.9 million women were killed and 1.5 million children were killed. In Auschwitz Birkenau they were treated probably the worst out of all of them. Some places in the world still believe that women should have no rights because they are useless.

The holocaust was a bad time in history. It consisted of a lot of death and torture and through those hard time some made in but a lot died and didn’t make it. The women and children were treated poorly and the women would be killed if they didn’t serve a purpose same goes for the children. And many were having to do jobs just to turn around and die or get killed. There were millions of Jewish people killed and women and children and pretty much all the places they got treated poorly or badly. And they got killed just for their culture which is not right and bad things happened but now that won’t happen again.

While women’s experiences during the Holocaust were not entirely different from those of men, it would be false and misleading to assert that they were identical. Children were especially vulnerable to Nazi murder or death in the era. The woman in the holocaust is more supportive of their child, brothers, sisters, and husbands. An estimated total of 70–85 million people perished, which was about 3% of the 1940 world population (est. 2.3 billion). Italy: Despite Rome's alliance with Nazi Germany, the Italian military generally refused to accede to German demands for the deportation of Jews either from Italy itself or from territory it occupied. After the Germans occupied northern and central Italy, in September 1943, they ordered the immediate roundup of the Jews in those areas. To a large extent, the Italian public did not cooperate, nor did Italian police, and in the end, “only” 4,733 Jews, out of about 50,000 in total, were deported to Auschwitz. Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Iran, India, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the last one is the United Arab Emirates those are all of the worst states where women are being treated badly.

Women during the holocaust were treated the same way as the men and children were. Every Jew got the same treatment. Women's roles changed during the holocaust because the women worked in the kitchens sometimes if there was one and if you got food. Also, they worked outside with the men as well as children. Everyone in the holocaust was put to work. Didn’t matter gender or age. 2.9 million women are killed, and 1.5 million children were killed during the Holocaust. Jewish women were treated as slaves and inferior to everything else in the world. They were treated terribly and most likely beat. The children that looked small were killed straight away, most of their children were experimented on by the Nazis. The women worked in factories making ammunition for the Nazi soidiers. More than 1.5 million kids and women were killed during the war. In Germany, women were treated bad, and basically all of Asia, and some of the US. In Syria, women get raped, and tortured across the country. In the US, women are raped too, and to be honest I think across the whole world women get treated differently, and we should all be treated the same, no one gender over another.

Women and children during the holocaust were treated like they weren’t even there. They were treated as if they were “useless” which they were considered in the nazis eyes. They were usually killed because they were either weak or sick to do anything. If they were to weak they got a slow death usually resulting in the gas chamber. Which it usually took 15 minutes to die and that’s a long time to think and process what’s happening. You know what if you have kids and there watching you slowly die and they can’t do anything about it. All in all they were treated as if they were dead.

Woman and children were treated horrifically in the Holocaust. They were deemed useless and were killed. Not like anyone was treated well, but woman were treated especially worst. Woman were either worked to death, or were killed in gas chambers. A total of of 6 million Woman and children died in the Holocaust. This is a terrible tragedy and it should have never happened. In the current world, no country's treat woman like they were treated in the holocaust, thankfully. I think if something this bad happened in the world today, it would be stopped. But nobody did that back then so, it happened. That's what I think would happen if it happened in today's age.

The roles of American women changed because 350,000 joined the military during WWII. Sadly 4.4 million women and children were killed during the Holocaust. Germany was the worst country that treated women poorly. Japan was also bad because those two countries were allies. Today women are not treated nearly as poorly as they were then, but women aren't treated equally to men such as in pay. Jewish women were treated even worse than men in the Holocaust because they “couldn’t do as much as a man can do.” Women were killed more often than men because, according to the Nazis, they can’t be put to work like men can. Jewish women of the Holocaust were treated like slaves if they were not killed because they were thought of as incapable of working. Their children, however, were treated worse because the majority of the time they ended up dead because they lacked the nourishment they need to keep them healthy. The women’s roles changed as people got sick. The sicker the people got the more women were needed to help the ill. An estimated 1.5 million children were killed and 2 million women were killed. Poland and Germany had the worst treatment of women. Some women are still mistreated in some Middle Eastern countries. However the treatment of women is nothing like it was during the Holocaust.
