She also goes on saying she no longer has to bite her you he and can now speak for herself. It talks about a tiger aswell most likely meaning that when she roars it means she is takelong her fears head on.Katy goes on to say how she had to fumble mumble and jumble even stop her words but when the roar is finally opened to her eyes she can now that she is her own person more independent and confident. Like the eye of the tiger, which symbolizes her fight to be her own person . She also said her vice will be as loud as thunder and that she’s a champion. Thunder meaning that she is finally speaking out for herself. And champion meaning that she has finally conquered her fear of facing and being her own person.

My first metaphor is from the song ''Lucid Dreams'' by Juice WRLD, ''You were made out of plastic, fake.'' He obviously is saying the person he is singing about is fake. The next two similes are in the song ''Multiplied'' by Need To Breath, ''Your love is like radiant diamonds'', and ''Your love will surely come find us like blazing wildfires.'' He is comparing God's love to these things. The next simile I am using is in the song ''Self Care'' by Mac Miller, ''It's feeling like you hot enough to melt.'' The last simile I am using is in the song ''Scars'' by Tobymac, ''I can still imagine you boomin' like the thunder.'' He is describing his son as a child.

These are just a few examples of the many metaphors and similes in many songs. Similes and metaphors are very useful when it comes to making songs.

The next song, "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts has the line, "Life is a highway I wanna ride it all night long." Which compares life to a mere highway. My forth song is, "Girl on Fire" by Alicia Keys say, "Looks like a girl but she's a flame so bright she can burn your eyes better look the other way." This is comparing a girl to fire and a flame that she could burn someone's eyes just by looking at her. The first metaphor i have is "Our lives our better left to chance" Garth brooks 'the dance'.My second metaphor is "Im the sunshine in your hair" Im already there by the lonestar.This means there is a relationship and the guy is saying he is what puts a smile on his lady's face.My third one is " go cop me some land and some property" this is a simile by "The Migos". They mean that this is there opinion on getting property in today's world. The first simile I found the song “Saints” by Echos is “You’re standing there like and angry god,” A metaphor I found was in the song We Are Young "My friends getting higher than the empire state". Another simile I found is from the song stitches by Shawn Mendes, "your words cut deeper than a knife.” In the song Broken by LonelytheBand it says, “I like that your broken, broken like me.” is another simile. The last metaphor I found was in the song Carry On my Wayward Son by Kansas was,” although my eyes could see I still was a blind man, although my mind could think I still was a mad man.”

In this song there is a metaphor that says "I am titanium". In the song "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten there is a simile that says "Like a small boat on the ocean". In this song she is comparing herself to a boat in the middle of a humongous ocean. The fourth song I found was "Firework" by Katy Perry. In this song it says "Do you ever feel like plastic bag drifting through the wind" which is a simile. She is comparing herself to a bag. I found more but these are the one I listed. In the song “Nicotine” by Panic! At The Disco, the metaphor is “you’re worse than nicotine” he is calling a bad relationship to nicotine. It’s addicting but bad for him. The simile in the song “House of Wolves” by My Chemical Romance is “kick me like a stray” this is him saying he needs punishment for his actions. The song “Carnival of Rust” by Poets of the Fall has the metaphor “ ‘cause without your love my life ain’t nothing but this carnival of rust” he’s saying that without her love his life means nothing. In the song “Helena” by My Chemical Romance, the simile is “just like the match you strike to incinerate” He saying to burn the memory of bad things done in the past. The song “On Melancholy Hill” by Gorillaz the metaphor is the title. This is a love song where a guy is telling a girl to join him on melancholy hill which is him saying they could be sad together instead on being alone.

This means something’s pulling you in and you can’t control it. In “Firework” by Katy Perry, it says “cause baby you’re a firework”. This means everybody can shine bright and be different. In “Halo” by Beyoncé, it says “hit me like a ray of sun”. This means something wonderful just came into her life. In “Better” by Khalid, it says “love to see you shine in the night like the diamond you are”. This means he thinks the person that he’s talking about is very special to him.

The song 'Rise up' says i'll rise up like a day'.The simile in the song 'Diamonds' by Rihanna is 'Shines bright like a diamond'. This is meaning the person is very special. In the song "Last Train Home" by LostProphets it says "Watch it pass the day as it fades away." This line is a simile. It is a simile because it says it as in the day is literally fading away. What it actually means is that the time in the day is running out. I know this because in the line before it says that he has to be on the last train home. Later in the song he also states, “Falling like ashes to the ground” which is a synonym using ‘like’.T.L.C. in the song waterfalls, says “Don’t go chasing your waterfalls” and it is a metaphor that means do what you think is right and don’t follow what might get you hurt. In the song ‘Titanium’ David Guette is comparing himself to a very strong metal when saying “I am titanium”. Artists use similes and metaphors all the time in their songs to express a feeling or statement.
metaphors and similes are mostly every song and its probably the most important part to have in a song and when you get what it means the song has meaning and every song needs meaning to the song so similes and metaphors provides the meaning for a song so we get why artist wrote this and sang this to us.

In the song ‘Ice ice baby’ by Vanilla Ice, it says “Flowin like a harpoon daily and nightly”. I’m not really sure what it means but it’s a simile. In the same song it says “I rock a mic like a vandal”. This is another simile. Yet again, in ‘Ice ice baby’, another simile is “was a chump like a candle”. Another from the same song is “I’m killin your brain like a poisonous mushroom”. Another is “I’m cookin mcs like a pound of bacon”. I have no idea what most of these mean. I’m pretty sure “cookin mcs like a pound of bacon” I’d referring to burning mc hammer. Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer are both 90s rappers. All of these are similes because they use the term
