Humor is when you laugh at someone or something or when you think something is funny. There are a lot of things that have happened that have been funny. I laugh everyday at something different. One incident that happened not to long ago was that I fell down the stairs and everyone laughed at me. It was really embarrassing but I am used to it. So what happened was I was running down the stairs and then I slipped and fell and everybody saw me and laughed at me. Avery Rohrbaugh 6-7
Humor is a lot of things but it is mainly when you think something or someone is humorous in a way mainly through speech and body language. So there are many times I have embarrassed myself, sometimes on a daily basis. This one time I was playing basketball (jokingly) at the Science Honorary Lock-in and I fell because I was wearing socks. Everyone laughed at me but it was okay because I had to laugh at myself too. In this incident, it involved myself and my ability to fall and loose my balance randomly. All in all, it's okay to be embarrassed sometimes, as long as you laugh it off and not make a big deal about it.
Humor is the state of being amusing or comic. One funny old prank we did when I was little was the Michael Myers mask prank. My dad always dressed up as him to scare my mom. So, he would go downstairs and put on the costume. Then, he would walk up stairs to where my mom was watching TV. My dad, brother, and me were all waiting until she had to come to the kitchen where we were waiting. Finally, she did and my dad was waiting right there for her. When she saw him, she screamed and ran to her bedroom and locked the door then started to barricade it. My dad took off the mask and told her that it was just him. She open the door and told him to never do it again. This incident was super funny and always makes me laugh. My mom is still very scared of Michael Myers.
Humor is when you find something funny and laugh or try your best to hold it back. This incident isn't from my childhood but happened recently. On Halloween at my house, my friend, Ryan, and I were throwing a ball back and forth then some people came to try and scare us. I pretended to fight them which was funny but then they continued on. My friend threw the ball at them and hit one but the other picked it up. The person was holding the ball so I pretended to be holding a base ball bat so I could hit it and my friend sat behind me as the catcher. They never threw it so I had to walk up and get it and I gave it to my friend. The person and I stared each other down until my friend threw the ball and the people ran away. That entire time I was holding back the urge to bust out laughing.
Humor is something funny that provokes laughter and provides amusement. There have been many times where I have found situations that were funny. One happened recently at my friend Bailey's birthday party. While on the way to the mall, Avery and I found an app that has a worm that dances when you tap the screen. The app is called staggering beauty. For some odd reason we like to call it Karen. We were cracking up for about 20 minutes straight and still find it funny to this day. At the mall Bailey, Kate, Serenity, Avery, Leah, Sydney, Abriana and I had a scavenger hunt where we had to take pictures with items on a list and then try to be the first one to have everything and return it to Bailey's mom. Then we later returned to the house to have a sleepover. When we got back to the house we played many games. One of the games was hide and seek. When Avery and I were hiding all you could hear was us laughing and saying Karen. They found us easily. It also didn't help that we hid together.

I think of humor as the feeling you get after hearing a clever or witty joke or a really bad pun. Humor let's us experience joy when we need to escape from adversity. Cracking a joke or just laughing relieves stress; it just feels good to do. A specific incident that I remember to be absolutely hilarious happened just a year and a half ago. My parents and I were on the Reach field trip to New York City. We were at Rockefeller Center, right outside the glass of the studio where the Today Show is recorded. We were walking away from the cameras, and there was a small step along the walkway that my mom hadn't seen. She tripped going down the tiny step and fell forward, just a few feet from the crowd the cameras were recording. If she'd been just a few feet to the right, she would've been recorded falling on national television. The funniest part, though, is that some of the camera crew saw and rushed over to help her (my dad and I were too busy laughing to do anything) before bursting out laughing themselves. My dad and I have made sure to never let her live this incident down.

I have been involved in many different funny/embarrassing moments. One time in 6th grade me and my best friend Hannah were running down the stairs at the end of the day to get to our bus. As we were on the bottom half of the stairs I slipped and fell down the rest of the stairs. Not only was Hannah laughing at me but I was also laughing at myself. There was also a teacher that saw but I don't remember who it was. Hannah and I didn't let that incident go for about a week as we occasionally found our selves laughing at the situation.

A time growing up that I felt a lot of humor with was a couple years ago at the beach. We were at Ocean City, Maryland in our beach house. My cousin Brady, who was two at the time, accidentally locked himself in the bathroom. He was very little so he didn't realize what he did or how to get out. Even though it was not as funny then as it is now that we think back to it, I get a good laugh out of it. He was screaming and crying on the other side of the wall and everybody else was speaking at the same time trying to tell him how to unlock the door. Eventually, we found a key on top of one of the other doors and we were able to get Brady out.
The video was extremely funny. At the Beginning of the film the two boys were like oh no we have just been caught. The dad couldn't stop laughing. But at the end of the film the Dad got serious and the brothers finally realized that he was being serious. so in all actuality the brothers realized that they had made a mistake and they had to make the consequences reasonable for their age
Humor is the comical things in life that people find a common interest in. In my lifetime I have done some pretty stupid things. One time, I asked my mom a question about space. So she's going on and on with this answer, and keep in mind I'm only 6, she gets done explaining it and I said,"My Cheese Talks!" So now we have an inside joke that if me or my brother get completely distracted while one of my parents are explaining something, it's a my cheese talks situation.

Funny stuff happenes to me almost all day and most of it comes from Conor. One time I was on the bus with some friends and some kid decided to sit on the floor of the bus. I thought abiding by the rules was really important as a kid, so I was really angry at her. I got really exasperated, which amused my sister, causing her to continue her behavior. That was not fun for me, but it was definitely amusing for my sister and parents.

When I was four years old, I had found myself in a hilarious situation, although I did not believe it was hilarious at the time. My sister, who was two at the time, was being potty trained, and was using the seat that goes on the toilet. She got into the bathroom, grabbed the seat, and promptly ambushed me and put it around my neck like a dog collar. I started crying, and my evil sister sat there, giggling and chanting," Abby's cwying, Abby's cwying!" Another time, she fell down the stairs, and told my mom that I had pushed her down. I remember getting yelled at for that quite vividly. I think these events are hilarious now because they are testimony to the fact that my sister's goal in life is "to destroy me", as she stated it.
Humor is when you laugh at something or someone. When I was a little girl I had never heard a bad word in my life. The only ones mt mom said not to say were, fat, ugly,and stupid. So one day I had just gotten home from kindergarden, and I was having a great day. Then I heard my dad come home from work and gave him a hug, then I asked him a terrible question. I said ,"Daddy, what does D*** mean, because I heard D*** at school and I knew it was a bad word because someone got send to the principal's office for saying D***." He said, "Well stop saying it first off, and yes it is a very bad word." I remember feeling so sad because I said a bad word. Now I look back and think of how funny it really was. Back in the 3rd grade my friends Bryce and Colten were play fighting and Bryce punched Colten in the face by accident. Then Colten went and told the teacher on him and Bryce was upset and crying because he was in trouble. My parents, two sisters, and my friends' mom were also there. We were playing in the pool and I wanted everybody to get out, so we do something. My one friend, Jasia, would not get out. I got really mad and threatened to call the police. She still didn't get out. I went inside and got the phone and walked back out. She wouldn't get out so I dialed "9" and showed her. She still wouldn't get out so I dialed "1." She still wouldn't get out so I called 911 and told them I needed someone removed from my property. The 911 operator asked to speak with my parents. By this time, Jasia had went and told them that I had called 911. Everyone thought Jasia was lying, but I came around the corner of the house with the phone in my hand. My parents were shocked and so embarrassed. They didn't laugh at the time, but later on we all thought it was funny.

It involved a piece of paper and two pencils. You drew a cross on the part and wrote yes and no twice,diagonal from each other. Humor is when a situation causes you to laugh, or just feel a rush of happiness. One time, I was at my cousin's house, riding on a kayak. It was my first time paddling a kayak, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I had been paddling around the pond for a while, when I had an idea. I decided to try and see how fast I could go. I began at one end of the pond, and started towards the other. I got faster and faster, until I went too fast. I stuck the oar in the water, but the water resistance pulled on the oar. The kayak hooked around me and tipped, eventually completely flipping over. I resurfaced and swam back to shore, dragging the kayak behind me. When I got dried off, I realized that my grandfather had been videoing me! While everyone else had been oblivious to my unfortunate situation, my grandfather videoed me and laughed. It was funny afterwards, but during the accident I was cold and scared, but mostly cold. When I was really young, I used to try to climb the stairs, but would always be put back in the living room or kitchen. I would also try to climb those baby -proof barriers for babies and dogs. When I was about four or five years old, I was going to my cousin's room to play with her dolls. On my way up the stairs, I would normally fall down about 9-10 stairs. After I would fall, I would just stare at the ceiling and look at my other cousin who would be watching a movie. I didn't cry or anything, I just sat there waiting for someone to find me laying at the bottom of the stairs while everyone was outside talking.The bad thing was I was in their apartment, helping them move out. Now that I look back at it, no wonder why a have a few screws lose and can't keep my balance.

We were swimming around in the hotel pool and decided to go meet our parents on the beach. Last year, when I was running for 8th grade Vice President, at the end of my speech I took a whipped cream pie and hit Zach Richards in the face with it. Even funnier to me was that I did it a little harder than I should have and the whipped cream went all over the floor and we were scrambling to clean it up before anyone slipped and fell on it.

Me and my friends were walking around in the woods and it was a little muddy so we were walking through the mud. Then we walked through a slushy part which made us sink . It was like quicksand even though we couldn't get out we were laughing. Luckily my dad was outside and heard us laughing but yelling for help at the same time and came to help us. But after we got out we continued to explore more in the woods.

Humor is when someone does something that somebody thinks is funny. A funny incident I was involved in was during the Fourth of July when I was seven years old. We missed going to the fireworks and my mom got fireworks so that we could still see some. My dad did not think it was a good idea. We bought the fireworks and set them off in front of our house. When they were set off my brother and I were scared when they made the loud noise after exploding. We were running in the yard and we slipped and took a mud bath! Another firework went off and almost hit my dad. He hit the deck. Needless to say looking back it was a funny day that we all laugh about now. Some families are not made for setting off fireworks!

I cried a little because it was that scary. I was hiding in the dark away from the person i was scaring. I hid behind the wall so he wouldn't see me. Then i jumped out and scared him. I was outside my house and it was pitch black outside because it was 10:00. I scared my mom and she was so mad at me. Later she laughed about it with us. And, of course, comedians use it to make people, to simply put it, laugh. One thing great about humor is that, in most situations, you can make light of it, which sometimes is the only option. For example, cancer is a terrible occurrence that has effected negatively too many people's lives. For people who have cancer, they often feel trapped with the notion that it is highly likely they will pass away soon; this often makes the patients feel extremely depressed, of course. And comedy, if you are clever with it, can cheer people up. For instance, if you just say that cancer people look stupid, that is not funny: it is just mean. But if you talk about the struggle, humor, and irony cancer patients have to go through, that can be worked out as a joke and actually be funny. This is what shows like "Nurse Jackie" and "Chasing Life" have done, and this have payed off by not only making patients feel better, but also raising awareness to the disease. To a lesser extent, I have gone through a range of illnesses over the years like Mono and C. Diff., and I was able to get though them by the support and humor of my family and friends.

So Carlina was like My Phones from US Cellular then Leah went, hey mine too. Then without thinking i said My phones from Walmart! it was just the way i said it that made it funny. Humor is something that is really funny. Humor to me is like comedians one good example would be Kevin Hart. I remember one time during a storm my friend zak fell off of his bike and rolled down a hill. Or when the time my friend evan got pushed into a hot tub by my other friends. I was watching my brother and our neighbors play basketball. Even though they told me to move because I might get hit, I didn't. Eventually I got hit flat on top of my head. The irony is quite rediculous and that is why I found this funny, although at the time I vividly remember being upset. Not crying although it hurt. The others witnessing the event thought it was hilarious. Everyone's sense of humor varies.
One day behind our house we had a baseball field where me and my family would go and play at after school. One day me and my brother Jerad had gone out to the field with our dad and played some baseball. We had a little humorous incident at the field when I was up to bat and my brother was at second base with my dad pitching. When he pitched the ball to me I hit the ball right in the direction of my dad and it had struck him right in the forehead. This accidentally humorous act had made me and my brother burst out with laughter after seeing our dead get struck in the forehead. Soon after our laughter my dad had given me a look of pain and laughter at the moment of my so called "perfect hit".

Humor is the way you perceive incidents with laughter. When I was younger, I was at camp, and me, my brother, and our friends were on the bank by the creek. Caleb climbed up the bank and found a stick, and decided to use it to help everyone else up by having them grab the other end. He helped everyone else up until it was just me and our friend Emaleigh. Emaleigh grabbed the stick and he started to pull her up, but the stick had handled so much weight, that it broke and she fell backwards into the creek. We all laughed, then helped Emaleigh up and took her into the dorm to change and shower. Luckily, she wasn't hurt, so we could easily laugh at the incident.

Humor is when you laugh at someone or something or when you think something is funny. There are a lot of things that have happened that have been funny. I laugh everyday at something different. One incident that happened not to long ago was that I fell down the stairs and everyone laughed at me. It was really embarrassing but I am used to it. So what happened was I was running down the stairs and then I slipped and fell and everybody saw me and laughed at me.

Humor is a lot of things but it is mainly when you think something or someone is humorous in a way mainly through speech and body language. So there are many times I have embarrassed myself, sometimes on a daily basis. This one time I was playing basketball (jokingly) at the Science Honorary Lock-in and I fell because I was wearing socks. Everyone laughed at me but it was okay because I had to laugh at myself too. In this incident, it involved myself and my ability to fall and loose my balance randomly. All in all, it's okay to be embarrassed sometimes, as long as you laugh it off and not make a big deal about it.

Humor is the state of being amusing or comic. One funny old prank we did when I was little was the Michael Myers mask prank. My dad always dressed up as him to scare my mom. So, he would go downstairs and put on the costume. Then, he would walk up stairs to where my mom was watching TV. My dad, brother, and me were all waiting until she had to come to the kitchen where we were waiting. Finally, she did and my dad was waiting right there for her. When she saw him, she screamed and ran to her bedroom and locked the door then started to barricade it. My dad took off the mask and told her that it was just him. She open the door and told him to never do it again. This incident was super funny and always makes me laugh. My mom is still very scared of Michael Myers.

Humor is something funny that provokes laughter and provides amusement. There have been many times where I have found situations that were funny. One happened recently at my friend Bailey's birthday party. While on the way to the mall, Avery and I found an app that has a worm that dances when you tap the screen. The app is called staggering beauty. For some odd reason we like to call it Karen. We were cracking up for about 20 minutes straight and still find it funny to this day. At the mall Bailey, Kate, Serenity, Avery, Leah, Sydney, Abriana and I had a scavenger hunt where we had to take pictures with items on a list and then try to be the first one to have everything and return it to Bailey's mom. Then we later returned to the house to have a sleepover. When we got back to the house we played many games. One of the games was hide and seek. When Avery and I were hiding all you could hear was us laughing and saying Karen. They found us easily. It also didn't help that we hid together.

Something is humorous when it's found amusing or it causes laughter. Humor is the feeling that you experience. I think of humor as the feeling you get after hearing a clever or witty joke or a really bad pun. Humor let's us experience joy when we need to escape from adversity. Cracking a joke or just laughing relieves stress; it just feels good to do. A specific incident that I remember to be absolutely hilarious happened just a year and a half ago. My parents and I were on the Reach field trip to New York City. We were at Rockefeller Center, right outside the glass of the studio where the Today Show is recorded. We were walking away from the cameras, and there was a small step along the walkway that my mom hadn't seen. She tripped going down the tiny step and fell forward, just a few feet from the crowd the cameras were recording. If she'd been just a few feet to the right, she would've been recorded falling on national television. The funniest part, though, is that some of the camera crew saw and rushed over to help her (my dad and I were too busy laughing to do anything) before bursting out laughing themselves. My dad and I have made sure to never let her live this incident down.

Humor is something that makes someone laugh or provides amusement. When someone doesn't have a good sense of humor they usally don't have much character. Every single day I am laughing at something. I have been involved in many different funny/embarrassing moments. One time in 6th grade me and my best friend Hannah were running down the stairs at the end of the day to get to our bus. As we were on the bottom half of the stairs I slipped and fell down the rest of the stairs. Not only was Hannah laughing at me but I was also laughing at myself. There was also a teacher that saw but I don't remember who it was. Hannah and I didn't let that incident go for about a week as we occasionally found our selves laughing at the situation.

A time growing up that I felt a lot of humor with was a couple years ago at the beach. We were at Ocean City, Maryland in our beach house. My cousin Brady, who was two at the time, accidentally locked himself in the bathroom. He was very little so he didn't realize what he did or how to get out. Even though it was not as funny then as it is now that we think back to it, I get a good laugh out of it. He was screaming and crying on the other side of the wall and everybody else was speaking at the same time trying to tell him how to unlock the door. Eventually, we found a key on top of one of the other doors and we were able to get Brady out.
The video was extremely funny. At the Beginning of the film the two boys were like oh no we have just been caught. The dad couldn't stop laughing. But at the end of the film the Dad got serious and the brothers finally realized that he was being serious. so in all actuality the brothers realized that they had made a mistake and they had to make the consequences reasonable for their age
Humor is the comical things in life that people find a common interest in. In my lifetime I have done some pretty stupid things. One time, I asked my mom a question about space. So she's going on and on with this answer, and keep in mind I'm only 6, she gets done explaining it and I said,"My Cheese Talks!" So now we have an inside joke that if me or my brother get completely distracted while one of my parents are explaining something, it's a my cheese talks situation.
Humor is when something that makes people laugh, it can be expressed in many different ways. For me, humor has a big impact on my life. I enjoy making people laugh, and it makes m me who I am today. One funny incident that actually happened on Wednesday morning was when Zakiah and I found a hilarious picture. We laughed at this picture for maybe 10 minutes straight. Thinking back on it it was quite silly but I still find it humorous. I think humor is one of the best aspects of life, and it brings you and your friends closer together.

Humor is when you experience joy and happiness all at the same time. We do it everyday even if it's just a little exhale from your nose when looking at a post on any type of social media. Funny stuff happenes to me almost all day and most of it comes from Conor. One time I was on the bus with some friends and some kid decided to sit on the floor of the bus. When the bus brake pretty hard he went sliding up all the way to the front of the bus. The kid got in trouble but it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Everyone was laughin.

I really enjoyed the game, and wanted to play it with my sister. She seemed much more interested in just taking all of the blue cards. I thought abiding by the rules was really important as a kid, so I was really angry at her. I got really exasperated, which amused my sister, causing her to continue her behavior. That was not fun for me, but it was definitely amusing for my sister and parents.

Humor is a state of mind where something or someone is thought to be comical. Although we know what humor is, we do not know exactly why humans experience humor. The most prominent theories suggest that humor is experienced when someone feels superior, when they need help adapting or coping with a stressful situation, and when something is incongruent, or it's violating our mental patterns and expectations. When I was four years old, I had found myself in a hilarious situation, although I did not believe it was hilarious at the time. My sister, who was two at the time, was being potty trained, and was using the seat that goes on the toilet. She got into the bathroom, grabbed the seat, and promptly ambushed me and put it around my neck like a dog collar. I started crying, and my evil sister sat there, giggling and chanting," Abby's cwying, Abby's cwying!" Another time, she fell down the stairs, and told my mom that I had pushed her down. I remember getting yelled at for that quite vividly. I think these events are hilarious now because they are testimony to the fact that my sister's goal in life is "to destroy me", as she stated it.

So one day I had just gotten home from kindergarden, and I was having a great day. Then I heard my dad come home from work and gave him a hug, then I asked him a terrible question. Then Colten went and told the teacher on him and Bryce was upset and crying because he was in trouble. When we were at fairmont state, the cop picked me for his demonstration on alcohol and I accepted. I put on the goggles and did one of the tests like he said. The test was walking from heel to heel. Even though it was some what funny, I think most of the kids understood that drinking a lot is not a good health choice.

So one winter day Gavin, Brenden, and my friend Aidan were walking down the hill from school. My parents, two sisters, and my friends' mom were also there. We were playing in the pool and I wanted everybody to get out, so we do something. My one friend, Jasia, would not get out. I got really mad and threatened to call the police. She still didn't get out. I went inside and got the phone and walked back out. She wouldn't get out so I dialed "9" and showed her. She still wouldn't get out so I dialed "1." She still wouldn't get out so I called 911 and told them I needed someone removed from my property. The 911 operator asked to speak with my parents. By this time, Jasia had went and told them that I had called 911. Everyone thought Jasia was lying, but I came around the corner of the house with the phone in my hand. My parents were shocked and so embarrassed. They didn't laugh at the time, but later on we all thought it was funny.

Humor is what you experience when something funny occurs. I've had many humorous things happen to me. One day in the sixth grade the kids in choir class decided to do the "Charlie Charlie Challenge". It involved a piece of paper and two pencils. You drew a cross on the part and wrote yes and no twice,diagonal from each other. You were supposed to be greeted by "Charlie" after saying "Charlie, Charlie are you there?" In class the group turned out the lights and said it all together. During this I was sitting back and laughing because I thought it was a joke and found humor in it. Someone must've moved the pencil to yes because everyone screamed. The scream and my laughing caused me to pee myself. I was embarrassed but my friends and I got a good laugh. The challenge then turned out to be a publicity stunt for a movie. We still laugh about it to this day.

Humor is when a situation causes you to laugh, or just feel a rush of happiness. One time, I was at my cousin's house, riding on a kayak. It was my first time paddling a kayak, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I had been paddling around the pond for a while, when I had an idea. I decided to try and see how fast I could go. I began at one end of the pond, and started towards the other. I got faster and faster, until I went too fast. I stuck the oar in the water, but the water resistance pulled on the oar. The kayak hooked around me and tipped, eventually completely flipping over. I resurfaced and swam back to shore, dragging the kayak behind me. When I got dried off, I realized that my grandfather had been videoing me! While everyone else had been oblivious to my unfortunate situation, my grandfather videoed me and laughed. It was funny afterwards, but during the accident I was cold and scared, but mostly cold.

The definition of humor is the quality of being amused or comic. In short, humor is something that makes you laugh. Since I was a clumsy kid growing up, still am, I used to fall dramatically. When I was really young, I used to try to climb the stairs, but would always be put back in the living room or kitchen. I would also try to climb those baby -proof barriers for babies and dogs. When I was about four or five years old, I was going to my cousin's room to play with her dolls. On my way up the stairs, I would normally fall down about 9-10 stairs. After I would fall, I would just stare at the ceiling and look at my other cousin who would be watching a movie. I didn't cry or anything, I just sat there waiting for someone to find me laying at the bottom of the stairs while everyone was outside talking.The bad thing was I was in their apartment, helping them move out. Now that I look back at it, no wonder why a have a few screws lose and can't keep my balance.

I got paint everywhere and my parents weren't happy even though they got a good laugh out of it. It took about a week for my dog to get back to normal color. I wasn't hurt except a few bruises but when it was over with everyone laughed about it. From that day on my grandma put a fence to block the stairs. We were playing outside and our ball went over the fence. My dad hopped the fence then through the ball back over. When he tried to climb back over his pants leg got caught on the fence and he fell. Just today my family and I were talking about a hilarious event that occurred to me. One day after school I got off the bus and walked into my aunt and cousin's house to my surprise is seemed as if no one were home, but I noticed that my family's cars were outside so I was suspicious. As I was walking to the back of the house to go and see if they were in there rooms I was startled by my aunt who was hiding behind her door. I was so shocked that I leaped up and then fell to the floor. I was embarrassed because all along I knew they were going to jump out of somewhere and scare me. I suspected this because just that week my cousin did the same thing to my aunt. I was eve more embarrassed because sinister cousin got the whole event on her phone. I never found out if anyone else saw the video, but I suspected she showed it to her close friends.

We were swimming around in the hotel pool and decided to go meet our parents on the beach. As my friend was getting out of the pool she slipped on a puddle on the ground and fell straight to the floor. We couldn't stop laughing for about 10 minutes. Throughout the whole week we were, everyone teased her about it. To this day we still laugh about it.

I remember that I was five years old and my cousin was driving one of the little cars that had to be charged I was standing on top of the roof of it and he was doing then he stopped and I fell off the car. This was when I used to live in Virginia.

Last year, when I was running for 8th grade Vice President, at the end of my speech I took a whipped cream pie and hit Zach Richards in the face with it. Most of the students and teachers thought it was funny and were laughing. Even funnier to me was that I did it a little harder than I should have and the whipped cream went all over the floor and we were scrambling to clean it up before anyone slipped and fell on it.

Laughing shows that enjoy what was said or what happened in a situation. Without laughter humans would not be the same. Humans would not show that they enjoyed something. They could smile but laughing show you really enjoyed what was said

Humor is the most essential part of the human life. Without this aspect, our lives would be basic and boring. If the world did not have humor this world would be nothing. A funny thing that has occured is when me and my brother fight.. Although hes 21 and wins everytime basically.. It is still funny afterwords. Humor defintley has an effect on peoples life. It is what gets me through school everyday. Without it I would most likely be stressed from how bored Id be. All i can say is Humor is one of the most imporant things in life to have . I am thankful for the fact that humor is a thing.
Humor is when someone finds something amusing or enjoyable. Humor is when something funny occurs. I have experienced many humerous things in my life. One day, I was playing soccer with my two sisters. My seven year old sister ran up to pass me the ball. She missed the ball, and then fell over. All three of us found this funny and couldn't stop laughing. We laughed for about ten minutes. Humor is a very important thing to have in life.

Humor is the act of being amused by someone or something. One of the most humorous moments in my life was when. Me and my friends were walking around in the woods and it was a little muddy so we were walking through the mud. Then we walked through a slushy part which made us sink . It was like quicksand even though we couldn't get out we were laughing. Luckily my dad was outside and heard us laughing but yelling for help at the same time and came to help us. But after we got out we continued to explore more in the woods.

One day I was at an arcade and I said that my brother was never going to win this game. He spun next and he won and me and him had a good time laughing about it.Jonas MY friend Zack and me were all involed in it and we had a good laugh about it all day long. Humor is when someone does something that somebody thinks is funny. A funny incident I was involved in was during the Fourth of July when I was seven years old. We missed going to the fireworks and my mom got fireworks so that we could still see some. My dad did not think it was a good idea. We bought the fireworks and set them off in front of our house. When they were set off my brother and I were scared when they made the loud noise after exploding. We were running in the yard and we slipped and took a mud bath! Another firework went off and almost hit my dad. He hit the deck. Needless to say looking back it was a funny day that we all laugh about now. Some families are not made for setting off fireworks!
Humor is being funny or histarical and people like that of other people. There was a lot of funny incidents growing up. One of them was when I scared someone very bad. It was hilarious. I cried a little because it was that scary. I was hiding in the dark away from the person i was scaring. I hid behind the wall so he wouldn't see me. Then i jumped out and scared him. I was outside my house and it was pitch black outside because it was 10:00. I scared my mom and she was so mad at me. Later she laughed about it with us. I will always remember that moment in my life.
Humor, by definition, is the instance of being funny or amusing. It, in many ways, is a prominent part to many people's many personalities and attributes. Politicians use it to win votes. Satirical commentators use it to get their point across, and it actually works better more than not rather than the serious tones of cable news. And, of course, comedians use it to make people, to simply put it, laugh. One thing great about humor is that, in most situations, you can make light of it, which sometimes is the only option. For example, cancer is a terrible occurrence that has effected negatively too many people's lives. For people who have cancer, they often feel trapped with the notion that it is highly likely they will pass away soon; this often makes the patients feel extremely depressed, of course. And comedy, if you are clever with it, can cheer people up. For instance, if you just say that cancer people look stupid, that is not funny: it is just mean. But if you talk about the struggle, humor, and irony cancer patients have to go through, that can be worked out as a joke and actually be funny. This is what shows like "Nurse Jackie" and "Chasing Life" have done, and this have payed off by not only making patients feel better, but also raising awareness to the disease. To a lesser extent, I have gone through a range of illnesses over the years like Mono and C. Diff., and I was able to get though them by the support and humor of my family and friends.
Humor is something you find funny or amusing. In my life I have had countless humorous incidents. One happened this past weekend. My family and I were in an elevator and and we got on and pressed he floor we wanted to go to. Well after waiting nothing happened so we decided to get off because we though it was broke. Little did we know to make th elevator go up you had to scan your room key on the scanner. We laughed for about 10 minutes.

Humor is when someone thinks something or someone is funny or amusing so they laugh at it. Comedians use humor in their job to make people laugh. Something funny happened last year on the bus. Leah, Carlina, and I were sitting on the bus and we were talking about our phones. At the time i had a junky $40 form Walmart. So Carlina was like My Phones from US Cellular then Leah went, hey mine too. Then without thinking i said My phones from Walmart! it was just the way i said it that made it funny. Then we all started laughing.
Humor is something that is really funny. Humor to me is like comedians one good example would be Kevin Hart. I remember one time during a storm my friend zak fell off of his bike and rolled down a hill. Or when the time my friend evan got pushed into a hot tub by my other friends. At that time we all dared each other to do dumb and stupid stuff. I also remember that zak dared me to run and jump as fast as i can and jump far as i can off of a hill. And after that i wasn't feeling so hot but we were all still laughing at that moment.

Humor is a "sense" that everyone has although it may very. This is when someone finds something funny. One time I was involved in an incident was when I was about 5 or 6. I was watching my brother and our neighbors play basketball. Even though they told me to move because I might get hit, I didn't. Eventually I got hit flat on top of my head. The irony is quite rediculous and that is why I found this funny, although at the time I vividly remember being upset. Not crying although it hurt. The others witnessing the event thought it was hilarious. Everyone's sense of humor varies.

One day behind our house we had a baseball field where me and my family would go and play at after school. One day me and my brother Jerad had gone out to the field with our dad and played some baseball. We had a little humorous incident at the field when I was up to bat and my brother was at second base with my dad pitching. When he pitched the ball to me I hit the ball right in the direction of my dad and it had struck him right in the forehead. This accidentally humorous act had made me and my brother burst out with laughter after seeing our dead get struck in the forehead. Soon after our laughter my dad had given me a look of pain and laughter at the moment of my so called "perfect hit".

One time that i was involved in an incident was when i was i fell down one day in the classroom because i had tripped and fell. I laugh everyday at different things. We were all in the room and we were sitting there,and i got up to go hand in a paper, and when i was coming back to sit in my chair i tripped and fell. Everyone was laughing and i was laughing because i thought it was the funniest thing ever.

I was attempting to tie my tie and my dad asked "Kirt do you need help tying your tie?". I answered "my name is not Kirt it is Bruce Wayne!" and everyone in my family got a kick out of it.That is my funny moment.

I hit the ground hard and cut my arm. I just got back up and I started to laugh, the blood was pouring out of my arm. My stepdad Rich's sister-in-law, Sunshine put a big bandage on my cut.

Then we started playing again and the same person tripped and fell into a picture on a wall when his parents came home. We were laughing when his parents came in and were questioned why there was a picture broken on the ground. We all said that it was from the dog and we got away with it. That is what happened recently that was funny.

Humor is when you find something funny and laugh or try your best to hold it back. This incident isn't from my childhood but happened recently. On Halloween at my house, my friend, Jahwill, and I were throwing a ball back and forth then some people came to try and scare us. I pretended to fight them which was funny but then they continued on. My friend threw the ball at them and hit one but the other picked it up. The person was holding the ball so I pretended to be holding a base ball bat so I could hit it and my friend sat behind me as the catcher. They never threw it so I had to walk up and get it and I gave it to my friend. The person and I stared each other down until my friend threw the ball and the people ran away. That entire time I was holding back the urge to bust out laughing.

Humor is the way you perceive incidents with laughter. When I was younger, I was at camp, and me, my brother, and our friends were on the bank by the creek. Caleb climbed up the bank and found a stick, and decided to use it to help everyone else up by having them grab the other end. He helped everyone else up until it was just me and our friend Emaleigh. Emaleigh grabbed the stick and he started to pull her up, but the stick had handled so much weight, that it broke and she fell backwards into the creek. We all laughed, then helped Emaleigh up and took her into the dorm to change and shower. Luckily, she wasn't hurt, so we could easily laugh at the incident.
