Of all things my dad taught me, aside from my love of history, it is camping. And a prerequisite before leaving for camp is to make sure that we learned the basic in survival skills. These include starting a fire from scratch, basic compass and map reading. I love the outdoors and it helped me feel confident about my skills. Years later, these will come handy in my family and our own camping adventures. If you want to learn more of basic skills such as starting a fire, it's easy. John F. Kennedy play a big role in history. He was the 35 president of the United States, he’s term stated on January 20,1961 to November 22,1963. The reason he didn’t serve 4 years was because he was sadly killed. He got assassinated on November 22, 1963 were he died at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas TX.

One person I chose was Sugar Ray. They are a American rock band from Newport Beach, California. Originally, forming in 1986 they would play a heavier nu metal style music. This kind of sub genre of alternative metal that combines elements of heavy metal music and other elements of music such a as hip-hop, alternative rock, funk, industrial and grunge. Another fact about Sugar Ray is all the band members grew up in Orange County. My last fact about Sugar Ray is the original name for the band was Shrinky Dinks, but was changed to Sugar Ray after signing with Atlantic Records because of threat of a lawsuit by Milten Bradley Company, maker of the Shrinky Dinks toy.
