Running and Reading

In what way can you adapt his words to your life? Are you a runner? Can running be a metaphor for other things? Are you a reader? What is your favorite passtime? Why?

You can adapt his words to your life in many different ways. You can just take his words into your own life problems. No I am not a runner. But I am sure running can be a metaphor for other things. I sometimes read. But I don't know if I would consider myself a reader. Because I don't really read on my own time. I do it in school though. My favorite pastime is the 80s. But I have a lot of favorite pastimes. I like the 80s because they wore neon and had really crazy big hair.

You can adapt his words into your life. You can also take those into your problems or fears. I am not a runner because i don't call myself a reader. But I am a runner for other things like doing my work in school. But i would say i do read on my free time though. But i would still be a runner for doing my work. But also i am not a runner. I had at least two favorite pastimes in my life. One would be the 70s because they all were funky and there were a lot of parties and two would be the 80s because my mom was born in that time.

You can adapt his words in life by thinking of them when you are in a problem. I would consider myself a runner because I play basketball and baseball. Running can be a metaphor to me because when I'm tired of running, you have to find something inside of you that allows you to keep pushing and move on. No, I do not read much but I read a fair share of books. My favorite pastime is the 90s because of the music.

I can adapt the words of this video to my life by remembering that you have to work hard to achieve. I will remember that even though doing what the video told us to do could be hard, it will be worth it. I consider myself a runner since I do track and cross country and stuff, but being a runner could actually be a metaphor for other things. It could mean just going with the flow and not letting anything stop you. I like reading sometimes if there is a really good book. My favorite pastime is swimming or laying around the house. You can watch TV or sleep or do whatever you want. Although it might be boring sometimes, it is relaxing after a long week of being busy.

I can adapt to his words from the video about life and what problems there are in life. Even though what he said will be hard to do, we still have to try, and push ourselves to do the very best we can do. I would consider myself a runner because of basketball, but you can be a runner in many different ways too. You have to also consider your homework, because doing your homework is running too. Being a runner doesn't mean that you have to play a sport or even do one, as long as your giving 100% effort that's all you can do to get better. I read sometimes, like when I'm with my grandma she'll make me read. My favorite pastime is basketball, and hanging out with my friends, and family. Basketball is something that I love with a passion, and think that I would like to continue to play when I go to high school. Family, and friends are vey important to me, because you will always need your family no matter what, because if you don't have them then nobody will really have your back like they will, and your friends are the best, because if you and a friend are really close then of course you can always can count on them. So, just remember that if you push though, and give an effort than you will be considered a runner too.

you can adapt his words to life in may ways and scenarios. if you do something that is hard and you stick with it then it builds up a bit of resistance to quit I am not a runner but that doesn't mean I quit easily have there been obstacles in the way but I have overcome most of them with hard work and devotion. running can be a metaphor for things including life you have to stick with it to not quit all the time. my favorite pastime is playing video games it may be some bit a addiction I have with screens or just the thrill of being another person with cool ability's and can help people for good. I do enjoy reading if its a good enough tail but its not enough to get me to read them in my free time usually I read because I have to for an assignment or project.

This blog teaches a life lesson for the people that are discouraged or they just give up. Every day people give up on simple things that are easily overcome. This is what I have learned from this blog.

You can adapt to his words to your self in a few ways. You can take his words and use them to overcome times when you want to quit for one example. Yes, I am a runner I run for both our school track and cross country teams. What he said about a voice in your head telling you to stop is very true, that is an other way his words connect to me. Running can be a metaphor for other things such as tough tests in school or certain jobs that induce stress. Personally I am not a reader but I know how to read. I can't sit down and read a book just for fun I have to have a reason like a book report. My favorite past time for summer and fall would actually be running to try and improve for upcoming cross country and track seasons, but when it gets cold I like to stay inside other than snowy days then I go out to play in the snow.

How I will adapt to these words is by reading a lot more and stay more active. I am a runner also a competitive swimmer which is like running in the water. Yes running can be a metaphor for many other things. I do read occasionally but not very often. I usually mow or swim in my passtime. I do these things because they interest me. I also watch WILL SMITH "ha la".

You can adapt his words to your life in many ways. No I am not a runner. Even though I am not a runner I am sure running can be used as some type of a metaphor for certain things. I occasionally read, but I wouldn't consider my self a reader. I don't really read during my 'free time'. I usually read when I am told to school or if I come across I book I really like. It depends on the book itself. My favorite past time is the 80's. I love the 80's rock bands and the edgy style that came along with it. I also love the hairstyles back then too.

You can adapt his words to your life by using them when you have problems. I am not a runner unless I'm being chased or playing basketball. I only read when I have too or if it has to do with learning a video game. My favorite past time is playing video games or outside with friends. Playing games helps me take out my angers. When I go outside, I shoot my bb guns or my bow.

I feel that Will Smith's words can be applied to the lives of everyone in one way or another. I'd say that, literally, I am not a runner; I don't do sports, like, at all. Metaphorically, though, I'd say that I am a runner. I try my hardest, and when it feels like I can't do any more or go any farther, I keep going or try even harder. I work my hardest to achieve the things in life that I truly want. I am a reader both literally and metaphorically; I love reading and expanding my knowledge. The lessons that can be learned in both fiction and nonfiction can be applied to life; as Will Smith said, if you're having a problem with something in your life, there's a good chance that there's a book on it. I feel like what he's trying to say is essentially this: It's effort, knowledge, and the willingness to try that gets you far in life in the end, not laziness or being quick to give up. My favorite pastimes include reading and listening to music. Strangely enough, I often combine these pastimes, because I love reading the lyrics for some of my favorite songs and then dissecting them and finding meaning or messages that I couldn't originally see on the surface.

At first I didn't entirely understand the message behind Will Smith's words. But after some thought I realized that there's more to it than what appears on the surface. One point he makes is running. Physically I run a lot. Metaphorically, I feel like when I have a problem, I run away from it. I try to make it appear to others that it doesn't get to me. Another is reading. I used to read a lot, but now a days I don't always have the time. Metaphorically it's just as Will Smith said. If you have a problem, it's a good chance someone's written a book on it. My favorite pastime is to play my saxophone or listen to music.

You can adapt his words to solve some very hard and tough life problems. I don't consider myself as a runner but I will be when track comes around. But I am a runner to get things like my homework done and this blog. Yes it can be used as a metaphor for other things like trying to achieve your long life you like will Smith said. I guess I'm a reader when it's come to a specific type of book. My favorite pastime is the 1970s. It is my favorite pastime because it was the beginning and the birth of rap.

Will Smith talks’ about running and reading are the keys to life. I can adapt his words to my life. I find myself a runner because when times get tough, I do not quit. I may have a set back but push myself to do the best I can. Whether I’m struggling with an injury, in school or social setting, I never give up. I am not a huge reader but as Will Smith said, there are no problems in life that someone else has not already had. I know that the books out there that can help guide me with any questions or problems.

You can adapt to Will Smith's words in many ways. Ways such as having to achieve your goal or working hard to earn something. Although I am not a runner, this can be used as a metaphor in different ways. I can still consider myself a runner by chasing after for what I want. If I feel like I can not reach a goal I keep trying harder and harder to reach it. By doing this, I can achieve what I really want in life. I occasionally read but not as often as I should. I will read in class when assigned to. I should start reading more so I can expand my knowledge and my vocabulary. I like to do many things to passtime. Things such as watching tv, doing gymnastics , and taking my dog for walks. Out of all these things, I think doing gymnastics would have to be my favorite because I can learn new tumbling skills after I have successfully completed the one before.

It is entirely possible to adapt Will Smith's word to your life, because he doesn't actually mean running and reading are the two most important things in life. He means aspects of them can be applied to your life to make it clearer to you what your goals should be. He's saying everyone should push past that voice in your head that tells you to stop when you're running, and to read to figure out problems. I run quite a lot in the various practices I participate in, and I do believe running can be a metaphor. Like how Will Smith said, it can represent pushing through something in life. I used to read a lot, but I haven't had the time to recently. My favorite pastime is playing football, because it's my favorite sport. I've played it the longest, and I think it's a great way to create new friends, meet new people, and form a bond with your teammates.

Yes you can adapt to his words. I do run a lot but I'm not actually a runner. However it can be used as a metaphor because if you stop running and quit others will pass you by if you stop working at it. I read a lot in school during English class but not really at home much. In my past time I participate in football, wrestling, basketball, and playing on my phone.

I use running almost every day in my life. Basketball can be used in my life as a metaphor for running. Every practice when I'm tired, we run suicides which is actually running back and forth. I'm always the first one to get done because I push myself more than anyone else. I do my best to ignore that voice and fight on. I would consider my self as a reader but not as much as I am a runner. I am a reader mostly when I need to study or learn something for school. My pastime is probably basketball. Whenever I can I play. Basketball helps me focus on something else and it helps me relax.

Will Smith's words are very adaptive because he says running and reading are the keys to life. This is very true, when he says running he means when thing get hard keep going. One time this happened in my life is when I was losing weight for wrestling I almost gave up when I had two more days to lose 4 pounds. I kept working out and was eating right. I ended up losing 6 pounds and was very happy I did because it helped me out in the long run. During the year I ended up getting 2nd in regionals. My favorite past time is playing sports because it helps keep me in shape. They are also very fun and enjoy doing them.

This is an important lesson in life. You have to run to reach your goals and to try in life. Reading I think is to do with education. If you don't get an education you can't go anywhere. All of our teachers say that high school is going to be a rude awakening. I think it will be hard for those of us that don't put 100% into our school work. As long as we remember to read and run maybe we will survive high school.

I believe that I can think of these words when I am faced with a challenge. I'd say that I'm more of a reader than a runner because I believe that an important part of succeeding is learning from others' mistakes, whether they be characters in books or people you know. There's a reason they say " history repeats itself." It's because people don't pay attention to the mistakes made fictionally, or even the mistakes made by people around them. Although I am not a runner, I believe that running represents persistence and that you can't fail if you never give up. My favorite pastime is volleyball because it's nice to know that you have a team that has your back.

I am also a reader because I learn from others mistakes.Reader can be a metaphor for learning from others, taking others ideas to include them, and having good teamwork by working together. So,I am a runner and a reader because I want to be and strive to exceed my dream.

I can adapt to his words because life isn't going to come easy, to most people. Most people have a hard time trying to do something that is neccessary to life. For example, when you take a test, you have to study as much as you can because it's not just going to come to you that fast, so you take up all your free time before the test and study. No, I'm not a runner. To be honest, I would must likely fail at running. Yes, running can be a metaphor in different cases. I am a reader. What interests me in books is that I can see from a different person's or thing's point of view. It tells me about that character, what they like, hair color, eye color, etc. My favorite pass time is to play soccer and play my instrument. I like to practice for band because it helps me understand the music better, and get a grasp of what the song is going to sound like. I also like playing soccer because I tend to get close to my teammates and get a better understanding of them and their type of approach during a game or practice. I tend to be more fousced in soccer because I understand it more then math.

I am also a reader because I have learned from the mistakes of other quite a lot throughout my life so far. One of my favorite pastimes would have to be when I was at the beach when I was about five years old. If you listen to Will Smith's words you can adapt them to you life in many ways. In life you face many problems, but in his words he is telling you how to make yourself mentally strong for problems that will occur in the future. The words are saying if you are able to make yourself mentally strong you will be able to push past and fight any situation. No, I would not consider myself a runner I can and do run, but mainly for soccer. Yes, running can be a metaphor for other things like bringing a grade up, moving past a sad moment, or heeling from something devastating. Going through any of these situations you are trying to push yourself past the pain so you can run toward a successful future. By getting past the problems you are conditioning yourself for problems in the future. No, I would not consider myself a reader either, I do read in school or any other school related activities, but I usually do not read on my own time. I have two favorite past times watching TV and skiing during the winter. I like watching TV because behind every TV show, documentary, and movie there is always a lesson or point to them. From these lessons you can learn and relate to how people are getting through and getting past the problems in the shows. I like skiing because it might not be as painful as running, but it similar. You are trying to get past the freezing temperatures when skiing and in your head you are telling yourself to push past it and you can relate that to situations in life. "The key to life is running and reading."

I do think that this could be a metaphor for life because it shows how even though life can get really hard, do not give up and try to push through it. I am also somewhat reader because I like to read and I will read even when I don't have to. You can adapt these words, not by actually literally spending the entirety of your time running and reading, but setting in motion for your own life the values Will Smith set forth. The main principle of Will Smith's speech is that, no matter what your obstacle, you can overcome it. And someone has done that obstacle course already throughout history so you're not alone. I could adapt these messages in my own life. I, like a majority of students, are constantly stressed about my grades, and this could help me be more relaxed. I was a runner in sixth and seventh grade for Cross County. Running can be a metaphor for all kinds of things. Some examples include slows and steadiness, time, life in general, competition, and activity. Coming close to television, reading is probably my favorite pastime. Sadly, most of my library is filled with political books rather than the regular, more helpful literature-type books. I am currently reading "Killing the Rising Sun" which is about the Atomic bombs and President Harry Truman's decision to drop them on Japan.

You can adapt Will Smith's words to your life by following his advice. More specifically, you should never give up. To be a runner, you have to always be persistent in your goals and not abandon them. To be a reader, you have to recognize when you have a problem and recognize that the solution is out there somewhere. Literally, I am both a reader and a runner. Metaphorically, however, I feel I am just a reader. I have a tendency to give up on things if I can not accomplish them instantly. I do, however, assess a situation to see how to solve it. My favorite pastime is probably reading. I like how books are able to transport you anywhere you want to go.

I think you can adapt his words to your life. I think by running he means to never give up and to keep working. When he says reading is the key I think he is talking about getting a good education. Working hard and learning will help anyone become successful. I am not a runner but just like running you have to put one foot in front of the other to reach your goals. My favorite pastime is building things with Legos. The reason I like to build things with Legos is I get to be creative and build new things. I like to create things that have never been built before.

I can adapt Will Smith’s advice into my own life. One of the ways is to never give in and always try my hardest, whether it’s for school, sports, groups, etc. I am sometimes a runner and a reader. Sometimes, I can run forever, or stop when I’ve just started. Other times I can’t figure out how I can solve this problem and I feel like I have nowhere to go. My favorite pastime is soccer. I enjoy playing, watching, and learning about soccer.

I can adapt to this by using his own words by doing them in my own personal life. His words have inspired many and of the many people he has also inspired me. I am a runner cuz I love to run for a daily basis. I'm also a reader because reading has made me learn much more in life then what can be thought. One of my favorite pastime things I've done is play sports and be active when I'm not doing much.

His words basically mean to never give up. If you learn to persevere through the hard times and learn from others' mistakes, you will have a rather successful life. Basically all I do is read, so I can understand how that helps. My favorite pastime is probably reading or drawing. It relaxes me and pulls me out of reality for a little while.

His words mean to never doubt yourself and the sky is the limit. Many times in life someone may get discouraged by what other people say or think. A successful person doesn't care about what people think or say, they just keep on doing what they do and act like nothing happened. I am very active so yes, I am a runner. Being a runner means a lot of different things. Most people would think of physically running, but there are other options. I do not read a lot so therefor I don't find myself a reader. My favorite pastime is the 90's because of the cool songs.

You can adapt his words to life in may ways and scenarios. If you do something that is hard and you stick with it then it builds up a bit of resistance to quit I play soccer which is almost entirely running but it doesn't make everything easy I still have to work hard.
